So, we phoned two weeks ago and booked a table for a Sunday roast, for 2pm today, Sunday 12th June. Having driven up from Dorset to see a show later, we arrived 15 minutes early to find the door is locked, all is in darkness and there are no signs of life inside. It is now 2pm and still all is dark and locked. What on earth is going on?? Our booking was confirmed over the phone. Their website says they are open from noon, but the door says they open at 6pm. It's appalling!

This is the second time I have visited this restaurant and it doesn't disappoint. Food is of exceptional quality and service is very good. Unfortunately, and I can see no reason why, on a Saturday night they are not busy. I know everyone's opinion is different but I have sent friends here and they too were overwhelmed by the food. Come on people of Radlett support this local business, it would be a shame to lose it, you dont have anything else like it in the area.

This restaurant was such a great find. There really isn’t anything else like this in the area or even further afield (we came from Barnet) The food was an interesting mix of European (French mainly I think) , with some African and Caribbean inspired dishes. It was SO GOOD! The flavours were really lovely and the food was well executed. Our group of five had mainly seafood and vegetarian dishes and we enjoyed every single dish. It was one of those meals where you want to lap up the sauce with bread and not waste a thing. We found the staff to be professional, very friendly and accommodating. The venue felt classy enough to dress up if you felt inclined but also a place you could try with kids. In fact there was a family with young children dining at the same time as us and and the children looked like they were enjoying the food too. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Fantastic food , great atmosphere, lovely staff who will do anything for you , value for money , food made from fresh and massive portion sizes I definitely recommend this place and I can’t wait to go back with my family

This meal was so good that I am compelled to write a review, which I rarely do! We visited yesterday for a Sunday roast. Our meal started with a complimentary dish of hummus, olives and warm pitta. Good news: I believe the restaurant might be selling their hummus soon. It’s without doubt the best I’ve ever tasted. Then followed our roast, which was presented in the most unique way. No ingredients stuffed on one plate here! My plate was adorned with an artistically arranged dash of vegetable sauce. Then the platter arrived! It was full of stunningly seasoned meat, perfectly cooked potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. A side of vegetables accompanied this feast! Although hugely tempted by the delicious looking deserts on offer, I just didn’t have enough room for another course, so sadly I can’t comment on this. This is definitely on my list of favourite restaurants! It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The chef even popped out to check on our meal and to introduce himself. This fabulous restaurant offers delicious food (at a very acceptable price) and superb service. What more can you ask for?

Ordered takeaway and was pleasantly surprised by the little extra efforts to ensure food arrived hot and well presented. My burger was de-constructed preventing a soggy bun, pizza, wings, onion rings all fab. Will be back to dine in once re-opened....thank you Bannermans, we needed something different & you were a tasty surprise!! :)
