Worst food Being a Asian myself we ordered a paneer and a lamb madras as d naan keema naan You pay that much for a naan just to get shop naan that has been heated up The panner was disgusting worst I’ve every tasted The small about of meat you get more sauce The keema naan again disgusting Worst Asian restaurant

The best chippy, I ordered cod with chips, the fish was huge and juicy and the fries just like I like from potatoes, not thin and dry. 1 serving is enough for two people :)

I came across Ali's whilst doing a Google search for local restaurants, only having moved to the area a year ago I'm still not really clued up on whats around yet. I booked a birthday meal for 4 people, I was able to do it online, it was fast and confirmation was immediate, very handy in my opinion. We weren't sure what to expect but I can honestly say it was some of the tastiest food we've had recently. Portion sizes were decent everything was well spiced and there was plenty on the menu to choose from. The Staff were friendly, they had bought the birthday cake out that we took and played music for us. The restaurant it's self was quiet but that's to be expected for a warm Tuesday evening. We will definitely be coming back here again. Thank you for helping us celebrate 🥳

Women behind bar was miserable and arsed , shame as she could of got some good money this evening and tips but her Attitude towards everyone in the pub was disgusting , clearly in bad mood and was having ago over random things took her to know after someone 3rd drink that she hadn’t ID them .

Popped in for lunch with friends, I had one of the new Paninis on the menu, It was delicious. Service was quick and efficient. Will definately be back next time I am in the area.

Ordered the lamb Biryani, very delicious and generous portions. Very happy with the service

Food was either bland or overly spicy. The rice was not basmati. I mentioned the lack of flavour in one of the curries and to be fair the “chef” came out to discuss and the solution was a separate bowl of pickle. Cannot recommend.

just ordered my usual weekly king prawn karai which isn’t cheap i specifically asked for it mild/ medium like normal it came hotter than hot.. more like madras hot i can not eat it its burning my mouth out. i rang and was told there is nothing they can do!! but this isn’t what i asked for!! it’s that hot it’s tasteless!! i order all the time from here and the service is getting worse..absolute terrible customer service! the worst!!! very rude and ignorant!! and terrible food.. well they have just lost a hefty weekly order we will now find somewhere else to eat!!! they don’t listen or give a damn about what i wanted!! just take your money and then not bothered!! it’s not the first time either!! i gave them the benefit of doubt but this is the last time!!!!! try somewhere else it’s not got great ratings as it is!!!

Fabulous Sunday lunch, the best in the area. Friendly, efficient staff. Keen prices. Interesting decor (wine bottles above the entrance). Lovely setting in the pretty village of Mowsley.

A must visit when in the area. Lovely clean and well presented cafe. We had Coffee with Cinnamon bun and Eccles cake. Delicious and so fresh. Went back the following day for Bread and Eccles cakes to take home.

The food is amazing and service amazing too, even though they are small they are welcoming, just came here sat on a table after some people and even though they were busy a employee came over and cleaned the table and sprayed it down.
