Everything worked out perfectly. You achieved everything we were hoping for. The food on all the days from Mendhi, Nikkah and Wedding day was delicious. We got ganis catering for our walima last minute and they were amazing. The prices were the best we found amongst many! the food was so delicious, all the guests were complimenting it and they asked for many refills. So happy with it and definitely recommend them!

The food and service from *Ganis* at our daughter’s wedding were truly impressive. We started with the Shere Khan chicken, which was a standout—tender, succulent, and perfectly cooked without being oily. The chaat was full of flavor, slightly soggy but still very tasty. For the mains, the naan gosht was excellent. The naan was soft and fresh, ideal for scooping up the rich, well-spiced gosht. The meat was tender and cooked just right, with bold flavors that really stood out. We also had *solo* for dessert, which had just the right level of sweetness and tasted amazing. Tea was provided which went down a treat. The service was just as commendable. The waiters were polite, professional, and highly attentive. They worked efficiently, kept things running smoothly, and made sure guests were looked after without needing to be asked. Overall, it was a fantastic experience—delicious food, seamless service, and a great atmosphere. Everything came together beautifully.

We went to a Walima hosted at Leicester mosque Islamic centre 9th of Feb. It was the worst food I have ever had.. all the stuff seemed to have expired, devoid of any taste or flavour. Tasted like Gani had been collecting the leftovers from the whole week and unashamedly served it to the guest on our friends big day. Gani must have thought , they’re out of town and the young person.who has booked it- what is he going to do about it. Please think twice before booking catering from this company.

We had used Gani’s Asli Gar ka Khana for catering for a reception. The food was delicious! Everything was spiced well and not too hot. Brilliantly presented. The catering team provided everything we needed. There was even extra food left over because of the portion sizes being very generous. Delicious, home made, great service and pricing. Everyone especially loved the gulab jamoon and the lamb nihari was a hit!

Wow. 👌 Highly recommend this place Ordered food for 120 people. Food was delivered on time at specified time. Food arrived hot and stayed hot till we finished serving. There was ample food. Probably could have fed another 20 people. Starters was kebab and sher khan chicken. Both tasted delicious. Biriani for mains had alot of meat and tasted brilliant. Gajar halwa was spot on. We served it with ice cream. We also ordered tea which was more than sufficient for 120 people and tasted lovely. Want to say a big JazakAllah (may Allah reward you abundantly) to the team. Mohsin

I ordered biryani n a sweet dish today and it was amazing.. from the taste to the Presentation. The amount was more then enough. The quality was amazing and I would definitely recommend them and will be ordering again.. great service and fantastic food.

Had the Tawa’s at my nieces wedding August 2024, was really impressed, had to try it again and the Tawa’s were awesome, showed consistency and the flavours were really nice could not fault it, will definitely try again, great staff and management

Ganis catered for our wedding of 600 people. Everyone enjoyed the food and we're still hearing praises for it weeks later. Their Tawa was brilliant, the fish pakora, chicken 65, noodles, paneer was incredible and perfectly suited our tables of 10 and even upto 12 people enjoyed with no complaints. The service was smooth and communication was very good.

DON'T USE THEM! We had a wedding and the food was organised by Gani's. The food was for around 600-650 people and the service was absolutely terrible 😣. we had ordered naan bread to go with the food and they ran out of it in under 10 mins and then the waiters made an excuse saying its nothing to do with us even though they work for Gani's. the naan was brought in later on but wasted alot of time and people were waiting. we also paid for 600 cups of tea and only around 200 were served and the tea dispenser was left empty afterwards and no other guest had a chance to drink tea. Food was decent but I wouldn't give it a 10/10 and the waiters were also clueless as to what they were doing and didn't look trained enough. on top of that the dessert was also for around 600 people and it was finished in the first 5 mins. I wouldn't use them again thats how awful their service is. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!

I ordered a large and small lamb biryani for takeaway and I had 2 pieces of lamb in both containers and just lots of rice.

Thank you for an amazing experience today for our celebration meal. The buffet was amazing and my favourite was the Sher Khan chicken. The biryani was very tasty and just the right spice. Definitely the taste of homemade authentic food. #AsliGarKaKhana

I regularly go here for takeaway and this year decided to get our Eid food from here. The food was delicious and the whole family enjoyed it. Customer service from Soyeb was great the entrie time. Would recommend to anyone looking to order for any occasions.

I used Ganis to cater for Judgemeadow’s Iftar Dinner. The staff there are amazing. We sat down and went through all the menu options and costing. On the day they arrived on time and set up the buffet station which looked awesome. Food was handle and labeled in compliance with food industry standards. Food was amazing. It was just right in spice level and full of flavour. We ordered the veg karai and chicken karai as mains and that went down a treat. Thank you all at Ganis for making our event a success!

Thank you to Ganis for catering for my uncles funeral. This was a late order as unsure of when funeral was going to take place, but great empathy shown by the caterers stating they will provide food as and when required. Delivery was made on time. Undercooked chicken very hard to break down and would not consume such food which is still raw. Ganis what are you playing at .? If your staff had to eat what they prepare for customers then I am sure they would understand what customers are dealing with. Stop selling food if you cannot prepare it properly. Had to bin my entire order waste of money. Highly avoid this place!

We hired Ganis for our Walima event on Sunday and honestly cannot fault it. From the service to the food everything was exceptional. The food can make or break an event, but Ganis exceeded in every department. Had a full week wedding foods from ganis. Absolutely amazing. very tasty and good qualities of ingredients used by ganis. Freshly home made by can not go wrong . All guest really really enjoyed the foods and made our wedding day really special. Speciality items lamb biryani, daal chagall, sherkhan chicken, chilli garlic chicken, paprika chair. All sweet dishes all the dishes are very very good.

Hired Gani’s as our wedding caterer and I must say he is one the best caterers around. Not only did he provide us with good service the food arrived fresh, warm and of good quality. All of the wedding guests were very complimentary of the food and said that it was the best food they’ve ever had! Definitely recommend them if you’re hosting a wedding or any other event.

Takeaway- arrived stone cold! Bad start! korma was bright green looked like it had nuclear power! The amount of oil on all 3 curries was extreme! The wole thing was swimming in oil. Korma was really spicy and the paneer curry blew our heads off! Chips portion was really small. Could say more on how bad it was and they refused to give me a refund of any kind. Uneatable, cream and yogurt in curries , Very Spicy, Very Salty, too much acidic tomato puree and artificial food colorings, kids cannot eat either because of dairy Intolerance & too spicy/salty also, also has very salty taste, we spent £60 for family and all wasted in the bin, we will avoid buying from GANIS Takeaway and Noted on our blacklisted takeaways list, Not authentic curries and Not made with care

Diarrhea, Stomach pain, always get diarrhea and stomach pain eating their curries and biryani, , they add lots of dairy products in it, family have stopped buying from this takeaway restaurant permanently

I am a fan of Sherkhan Chicken it is the best. None other can beat this taste in the fried chicken category. Exact cook, definite crisp, and right mix of sauce make it delicious 😋. Ordered Biryani from here in quiet, big quantity and no negative remark from anyone. Each and every person like it, a perfect blend of spices and ample quantity. It was made with perfection. I love the hospitality of the owner, Siddiqui bhai, who is very calm & very good person. He accommodates us very well and keeps himself available throughout the order. If you want to order a big party or wedding, I strongly recommend this place.

Food is good, service is poor. We order regularly from Ganis, normally for 10 people from their Unit. The main OWNER has told us so many times we can return pots and make payment in the shop on St Saviours Road. Recently my mum returned a pot, made payment and gave the order name. It is then the shops responsibility to contact the owner and inform “payment Received for the order and pot returned”. Called today to make another order - the owner accused my dad of “eating my food and not paying” — very rude and offensive. - do not blame your customer - the blame is on your staff for not informing you they received the payment - verify with YOUR shop, before accusing your customers Where did the payment go? How did you do your accounts if you have not been informed of payment? This is your staffs fault!! Do not shout at your customer. They are doing you a favour by providing you business and recommending you to others. You are not doing them a favour by cooking for them - there are many food places in Leicester! If you want to be treated rudely, order from Gannis!

Had a horrible experience with Ganis catering service. Almost a nightmare. Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest rating as I would give negative rating. I ordered Ganis catering service for 30 people a month in advance for my wedding. I then called again a weekend before the wedding to confirm the booking plus other info. He then requested a text message with my entire menu we wanted to for the wedding to which we sent. All seemed good so far... On the wedding day 5pm was the time we were to expect the food however, nothing came. We called a t 5.15pm as was getting worried and everyone in the hall was hungry waiting for food. On the phone call to chase the food's arrival, the owner stated he forgot! My uncle called again thinking there was some mis-communication, now the owner told him that there was a load of technical issues with equipment(the nerve of trying to lie instead of owning the mistake). Everybody was abosulutely angry with this outcome and we had to run out and pay for food last minute which took 2 hours extra. We had to explain to the guest what happened. The guest then eating through the desert as they were starving. Everything was a mess and stress levels was sky high. Besides ruining my wedding day, I would say that this company has rubbish organisation, calender and customer service skills. NOT RECOMMENDED

Great food and great people, we are vegetarians and have been eating in Gani's for past 2-3 years. Have been well looked after by the Gani's team. Salman delivered food at our place when, in December, we were suffering from Covid and couldn't cook. Kind hearted people.
