Fantastic pub. Lovely beer garden and kids friendly. Landlord and landlady are friendly and kind. Would highly recommend people to go and try this pub.

Great pub years ago then it was a pub pub now it's just one of those back street cafes

The cooking is first class . Great complex flavours all freshly cooked. Very good quality lamb and chicken. Nans straight from the Tandoor. We have been coming for 20 years and only eat elsewhere when travelling because this food and service is as good as it could be. Take-aways also great.

After having given this place a "rest " for a while, we've now returned, and we're so glad we have ! We've now been in twice in the last couple of weeks and the food is fantastic. Easily No.1 in Brackley at the moment. This last visit we had an amazing Bhuna and an equally good Jalfrezi, Staff were great, atmosphere was superb ! We'll be in there again before too long. Thanks guys.

I was one of 11 adults who went to this restaurant on the night of New Year's Eve 2024. The 4 course meal and various wines were excellent, as was the service. All at a very reasonably priced menu. A most enjoyable experience for all concerned. This represents the views of the whole party.

Visited for the first time with friends last Saturday. Well, the food and the service were both excellent. The welcome and service were so friendly and the food was above expectations. House Rose delicious! Starter amazing. Main course was great and the dessert was great too. Can’t wait to return.

the pub is lovely realy old world charm staff very helpful and welcoming the food was good but the veg were so hard it was inpossible to eat them I dont like my vegetable soggy but do expect them to cook them this di spoil the experience I would have rice if I went againwhich is doubtful

Had my usual Crossroads Breakfast. 2 lovely sausages, 2 back bacon, beautifully fried egg, beans, tomatoes, hash brown, black pudding and 2 slices toast. Cup of tea in with the price. Great quality sausages, bacon and black pudding. Everything else cooked to perfection and nice and hot. Fast friendly service and very nice staff. The best value breakfast in Chesterfield. The dinners are great value too. Never had a bad meal or service in the years I've been going in. Thank you! 🙂😋😘

Nice place, exposed brick walls and seating on two floors. Always friendly service and a great selection of beers on tap and in the fridges. No kitchen - only bar snacks.

Have been having Sunday lunch here quite often. Usually beef. Today tried turkey for a change. BIG MISTAKE. It was tasteless, pink, and like slices of jelly, dreadful. Cabbage was nice but would have fitted on a teaspoon. Yorkshire pudding was soggy bottom mass. Yuk. Gravy so thin you could see through it. Why oh why can't you thicken it a little? Would it use too much of your profits? The service from Abbey and her colleagues was first class, pity they are constantly let down by the hierarchy who think they know what we diners want. No they haven't a clue and don't care either. They only care about profits.

We love this restaurant; they are more than happy to amend recipes, accommodating dairy free and gluten-free without any issues. Staff are lovely, and food is amazingly delicious without loads of ghee to spoil the dish/your waistline 😊 great prices too.

I went here on a Monday evening to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my better half. The menu had a good number of choices and were hard to pick between. The staff were really friendly. The food was served quickly and the portions a decent size (I normally go starter, main and desert, but couldn't manage the desert on this occasion.) I would happily return to dine here again and would definitely recommend.

Scruffy smelly environment the bar staff are extremely rude they have an issue with rats walking around the bar. The bar staff are not much better also rats. They have relationships with the customers and then allow the customers there having relationships with to dictate who can and can’t drink in there. Everything that’s wrong with British pub culture exists within this facility. They cater for people on benefits and if you even look at there regulars wrong they gang on up you. Highly recommend you avoid this venue at all costs it’s a dump. If your not an alcoholic drug addict avoid at all costs

This is literally our family favourite restaurant in leicester. If you fancy or love turkish food then this place is a must!
