such a fantastic pub with great selection of drinks. This pub is perfect if you love the football spoilt for choice with large screens. Oh not to forget the large beer garden to to up your tan or let kids have a play on park or football nets. 10/10 this pub staff are brilliant too 👏

we've been going to The crown and Anchor for perhaps over a yr now. we live close to Chesterfield town centre and enjoy Friday nights in this pub . we visit perhaps a few times a month. really nice atmosphere and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The pub raise alot of money for different charity's., great entertainment and quizzes. highly recommend!!

Great pub to visit on match days, packed to the rafters.

where to start, owners not taking proper care of the establishment. owners extremely rude and unfriendly. unclean utensils and glasses, tables that have not been wiped/cleaned and horrible toilets that seem to never been cleaned. never coming here again taking my business elsewhere!

horrible service, owners (wife and husband) awfully rude. drinking on the job, sticky glasses not properly washed, dirty utensils, dirty/sticky tables, filthy sticky floor that seems to be never cleaned. horrid atmosphere would not recommend

went in and asked a question to the owner, got shouted at and a bunch of people inside started harassing us, absolutely horrid atmosphere with terrible owners/staff.

Looks a great place to watch sport with telly's eeeeeverywhere.

Kirsty and Brian are excellent hosts, professional but also know how to have a laugh. Always something on in the Crown, whether it be football, bingo, karaoke or a turn. Great atmosphere and fantastic Team of staff! :)

This is a craft union pub done properly. It clearly has excellent pub operators running it. The pub feels clean, the fridges are stocked and the staff are quick and friendly. Small car park at the front of the venue, large beer garden with lots of seating at the rear.

Went to the Crown & Anchor for a large family gathering. Service was fantastic, Kirsty the landlady was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Great outdoor area, lovely atmosphere. Thank you for a fantastic afternoon/evening.

Kirsty and her husband and family have just taken this football friendly local pub on what a turn around in such a short time,beer such a big improvement and all round great improvement on all other area's x well needed in the local area for a local 👏 👍 x

We have just hosted our little boys 5th birthday party here and it was the most perfect day. All thanks to Kirsty and her fabulous team. They were extremely helpful and nothing was too much to ask for. We used the beer garden to serve our own food. Lots of space for over 20 children to play, with the play area also. Drinks are a very reasonable price. The pub itself is well presented with a high standard of cleanliness. Guests commented on how fantastic the party was! Thank you very much ! We have one happy 5 year plan ! Also we now know where to host any future parties! From Nat , Shaun & family.

First visit as my eldest daughter recently moved to Chesterfield. Great, expansive (but certainly not expensive!) pub with Theakston on tap, sports on TVs, pool and darts. Great outdoor areas - ideal should we finally see some sunshine - and friendly staff.

Great friendly pub with a good beer and cider selection and deals on shots. Live eneltertainment and bingo evenings. Dart board and plenty of TV screens. Lots of comfortable seating and outside seating. Outdoor play area and accessible loos.

The crown and anchor is a fantastic pub for any type of occasion. It has a great pool table which is well looked after, and has really good drinks available at a fantastic price, the staff are all fantastic. This is by far one of the best pubs around outdoor drinking on the back With TV's and Park for children And foodball goal

It's changed since my last visit! Some drinks you wouldn't expect to be out of stock and to me feeling less friendly than it used to. Hope I'm wrong but it could be on a downward slide.

Went to watch the Chesterfield Football game as it was being shown on BT Sports. Loads of screens and your typical beers to choose from. It was fine.

Great beer, you can tell the lines are cleaned often as the alcohol always tastes great! Very VERY cheap, as far as I'm aware some of the cheapest drinks in Chesterfield! The staff are extremely friendly and fun! There is never a dull moment in this cosy pub!

On my last visit here I asked for Bacardi & I was informed they only sold Havana Club ( which I don't like ) On my visit today they told me they had got Bacardi delivered & I was very pleased ! I gave two stars just because of the lady’s attitude to customers. Felt her behaviour rude and impolite. Otherwise we just drank beers and atmosphere was good with big screens with football match.

The landlady's customer service skills leave a lot to be desired. Totally the wrong attitude for a publican. Made to feel very uncomfortable and won't be going back in a hurry.

All Covid-19 restrictions in place. & working hard to deliver service to customers. Cheers 🍺🍺

Great venue for all occasions. Gig venue, birthday party, wake. All were going on the orher night & the venue was able to cope with ease. Didn't use it but there was a nice big outdoor space with things for the kids to do as well. Reasonable selection of drinks and food prices. Excellent staff, the landlord & lady were lovely.
