Wonderful experience and Koo today. The sun was shining, beautiful food, great service and lots of smiley happy staff! Can’t wait to come back!!

People are friendly, food and drink is lovely. The only fault I have is it can be a little cold sometimes in there x

My first visit to this lovely place I will be back to sample some more it was very good and portion size was good.

I haven’t been here, but I pass by every morning when I take my daughter to school. Often there are a lot of people already at 10 am. This suggests that this is a popular place among local residents. Vizh4lv that the cafe has a large selection of different drinks.

Me and my boyfriend came for breakfast today and it was the most delicious food we have had in chesterfield (we travel alot) The customer service was 100% as we were advised there would be a delay with our food. It was warm and friendly 😁

We were overcharged today by £8.00. We should have paid £10.00 each for a quiche with salad and fries but instead were charged £14.00.The quiche was bland too.

whent in today for breakfast. have driven past many times and people are always sat outside so we decided to give it a chance we weren't disappointed great service and the breakfast was superb. will no again and try the lunch time menu.

Me and my mates came this morning for breakfast and all 3 of us blown away by the amazing food we were served, great breakfast options on offer.. which we made the most of... Service from gemma and rubi was just as good as the food... as always... im a regular so knew what to expect but both my friends said theyd be back and bringing their girlfriends next time after thier great experience. The sun was shining down on the lovely terrace area also which made it jus that lil bit better. Highly recommended koo and the team.

Staff seem unhappy and lack that trendy happy coffee shop vibe. Coffee expensive for what it is, which at best is warm and flimsy without doses of syrup. Disappointing

Saw online that it was dog friendly, luckily it was a nice sunny day as dogs aren't allowed inside so we sat out front. Great coffee and a decent breakfast. Gluten free options on their menu too, shame I only got one slice of gluten free toast with my breakfast when the standard version comes with two

Terrible experience had a full breakfast for 13 pounds, cam to the table with no poached eggs there was a delay 5 mins later thwt brought 2 poached eggs not cooked properly advised the eggs kept splitting did I want different eggs by this time I had nearly eaten my breakfast. I had to ask for them to deduct from the bill there was no offer. Bad customer service.

Presented lovely, produce good but good / full breakfast,stone cold. 2nd time.money refunded. Such a shame ,a lovely friendly place.

We had breakfast on Sunday morning. The place was quite busy. I must say the breakfast was as good as I hav e had anywhere. Highly recommended. My compliments to the chef.

Very poor experience to be fair Used to come in regular under previous owner when I had my car in for service. Wanted to catch up with some work whilst here and asked one of the staff about Wi-Fi, her answer, don’t know the code she answers, can you find out for me? No sorry, only the manager knows it and she is off today! Ask another lady a few mins after, we don’t really have Wi-Fi it doesn’t work right. Absolutely shocking tbf

Staff always happy & friendly, great coffee, food & vibe.

Called yesterday for brunch, 4 people. Waited 1 hour 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Was just about to leave. The bacon was as hard as a brick.... inedible. Tea went cold waiting for sweeteners. Time and money wasted. Will never be repeated.

Had the full English breakfast, it was all good top quality food very nice and filling,would go again, not overpriced.

My daughter & I came into KOO for breakfast during the holidays. The staff were lovely to My little girl made a lovely fuss of her. Both of our breakfasts were delicious, and so well presented. Coffee for myself was also lovely. My daughter has additional needs, and sometimes can make unusual noises, but nothing was mentioned, the lady behind the counter just smiled as I apologised and said oh don’t worry. You don’t realise how much this means to me that we can enjoy a breakfast without any judgement. Forever grateful to the Koo Team.. 😍

Wow, absolutely gorgeous place with a variety of lovely food and cake. Service is top notch, and prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a nice bite to eat, with a selection of drinks and cake..... look no further

I have never been to this place. I had to park outside.....but from all indications it seems well attended....so it must be good. Sorry I can't comment further.

I usually go to Koo for a coffee with friends and it’s always lovely, but this one time I decided to have food (a Caesar salad with halloumi) I got about half way down and it was absolutely smothered in dressing that tasted like seafood, I couldn’t eat what was left. It has made me feel badly sick, we complained to a lady on the bar and she gave us 20% off but even then, it was not worth us even paying for. I could’ve gone to Morrisons and gotten a meal deal for £3.50 and it would’ve actually been edible. Later found out that the dressing is made with anchovies and I wasn’t even told (bearing in mind) fish makes me ill. Imagine if someone has an allergic reaction to fish?? not everybody is going to know that there is anchovies in the dressing.

Our first visit to Koo, along with friends for a birthday breakfast. Delightful, friendly, helpful service from the team, making our custom feel valued. The choice of food of by our group, totally lived up to the menu description, so there were no surprises. Well cooked, pleasantly presented and and hot as it should be. First visit maybe, but definitely not our last, Koo is a 'keeper'!

Koo,is fantastic! My friend and I had the delicious lunch..It was superb!! Tremendous portions.Exceptional value!!!.The staff are extremely professional and most polite..The wash room, was a delight to visit and catered for everyone from babies to oap's!! Can not wait to return....

We have been here two times ,on both occasions their was plenty of menu choice the food was really well cooked and tasty ,the service was second to none ,all in all a really nice experience ,plenty of on street parking near by

It was my first time here, the service was good, the amount of breakfast you got was really good, could of been a little warmer, but I enjoyed it. The website needs updating as I paid £11 for a full English and it says £8.45 on there. Nice place.

Called for an impromptu Sunday morning breakfast. We should have booked as they were busy, but we sat outside. There were blankets available and there were heaters (although they were off). Anyway, we had 2 full English breakfasts, 2 coffees and an orange juice. Everything was good, especially the flat white. Excellent food, but booking is recommended

Lovely little bistro! Food was excellent with great wine, staff were friendly, atmosphere was modern and relaxing. It was a great stop off while we were passing through Chesterfield. Next time, I may go out of my way to come back!

Over the years I have used Koo on numerous occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it. I went on Friday 19 August with a friend and had one of the worst meals I have ever had! They seem to be doing more hot meals as well as sandwiches/chips etc. We had fish and chips instead of our usual sandwich with salad and chips it was awful the fish looked massive but it was mostly batter very thick and very crispy. Underneath the batter was a big cavity before the fish so there wasn’t a lot of fish and it was very dry. The chips were also very big and very dry. On a positive it is a lovely place to sit in and the staff are always lovely. I see that it has changed hands in the last year but unfortunately for me the food has changed for the worse!

Good, but if you want breakfast at the weekend then you'd better book!

The full english breakfast is divine, and the chocolate muffins are to die for. Highly recommended. Staff are friendly and polite and make each visit a pleasure.

We had to come to Chesterfield 2 hours away from where we live. We searched for a dog friendly cafe and Koo came up. What a fantastic place the staff are all so lovely and made such a fuss of our dogue de bordeaux paisley even though she's a giant breed as lots of places who say their dog friendly have problems with giant breeds. They brought her a sausage an a pupachino an made such a fuss of her. Plus the coffee and food was so nice and very reasons ky priced. Try the smashed avocado an poached egg on toast it's delicious.....

The other day I was wondering what to have to eat as I needed something to takeaway so I could get back to work, I ordered this new burger that is on the menu and it was so nice to be able to enjoy a non-greesy meal that is takeaway, hands down one of the best burgers I have had in a long time and it didn't brake the bank. Would highly recommend if you want takeaway but not wanting rubbish processed food definitely come and grab yourself something. I will be back very soon. Ps who ever cooked the food your amazing

Popped in for breakfast on the bank holiday. Managed to get in, although I would think of booking next time. Staff were very friendly. Had eggs florentine and it was delicious 😋 would recommend and definitely be back in soon.

Staff was helpful, only criticism is when the hot drinks arrived, it was a little while till the food arrived so the drinks were a bit on the cool side.
