Worth visiting for the range of beers and the price really. Had Oakhams JHB and Ten Fifty plus London Pride and another I can't recall Supposed to be reintroducing pub grub soon Good old features inside, not made the most of It feels a bit flat and featureless in the main bar as you enter. Comes alive on the usual nights when there's more people in. Just need to rejig the interior to bring it alive more

Best pub in the area. Fantastic food and service everything about the place is top notch. Stunning location for winter and summer

The food is excellent, amazing value on a Wednesday, curry rice or naan and a wine or pint £12 what’s not to like? and service very friend

Absolutely awful - special fried rice was just boiled hard rice with some meat thrown in. No flavour. We ordered two Thai dishes that were just fried battered meat. Wouldn’t even give this a 1 out of 10.

Food was OK, trying to park the car was a nightmare. Not many spaces and the drive through was overflowing in to the car park. Chaotic main road. Staff were friendly.

Loved this wee place! I Stayed 1 night at this gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting, as i was going to a meeting nearby, lorraine was a fantastic host right from the minute we arrived, rooms were absolutely spotless and decorated in keeping with the property, she had thought of everything, even had a mini fridge with milk and an amazing choice of teas /coffee. I dont normally sleep well when in hotels but i did here, loved the bar with a fire, the food was delicious and at breakfast there was a big choice and cooked fresh, staff were all lovely and friendly, i dont have anything at all negative to say, if im ever in the area again i will definately stay here!

We stopped here for lunch today. What a great place. Everyone was so welcoming . Had a great beef Sunday lunch. Everything was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Meal was served very quickly. Highly recommend.

Milkshake was just milk with squirty cream very thin consistency and had 2 tiny chunks of Mars bar at the bottom cake portions are very small for price and there's always something missing from the order won't waste money with them again

Visited today with a friend for lunch… live relatively local although not been before. Had a really pleasant all round experience.. warm welcome, faultless service & great food. We both chose the warm chicken salad, followed by the sherry trifle & tiramisu. Everything very tasty, in fact I gave it an overall mark of 10 out of 10, a rare occurrence for me! Thank you all for a lovely afternoon.

Waited 2 hours for food. By the time the food came out, appetite was passed it. Service was shocking could tell that the waiters were angry throwing ice cubes at the floor.

My daughter and son-in-law held their wedding reception at Mam Liz's last night and it was just perfect. The food was superb, made by the incredibly skillful chef Nick who created a vegan Carribbean menu for us, where nearly everyone had seconds. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, and they even set aside a courtyard with games to entertain the kids...and adults throughout the evening. We simply couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to Liz and Michael for making us all have such a memorable night xx

Unfortunately we couldn’t really comment on atmosphere as we were the only ones here but then it was Halloween, however the food was absolutely delicious, the waitress was very polite, kind and helpful and the portion sizes were more than enough which is always a good thing! Would definitely recommend a visit :)

curry sauce was more like jelly - so, so thick

It is not that often you order a take a way and no one grumbles about something! All was delicious 😋 from here and will definitely order again. Highly recommended 👌
