Excellent evening meal with friends . Service was attentive but not intrusive. Can highly recommend it the half lobster and rocket salad with skinny fries , paired very well with a bottle of Sancerre . One of favourite places to spend an evening

App went wrong so I had to go into the restaurant and sort it with the manager. After the best part of an hour we got the order and it was still wrong when we got it home.

Food ok but service was abysmally slow, spoiling the evening. Waitresses were cheerfully doing their best but were ridiculously under staffed. If there was a particular staffing problem that evening an apology and explanation would have been in order. If not - get your act together Prezzo!

Got some chicken nuggets and chips from there 20th may 2025 i got food poisoning throwing up in the middle of the night when i was eating this meal i felt rubbish i couldn’t eat it all and i was okay before i eat this meal also had mayo on the top and didnt seem right to me

Use regular. Food is excellent 4th time that there was a problem with my takeaway not even an apology from the bar staff. So no wonder I was annoyed but all I got was grief until I called for the manager. Won't be using again

Brilliant local family pub, fabulous Sunday meal with a homemade feel to it and plentiful. Great welcoming atmosphere with superb value for money

We visited at around 230pm Sat Aug 19th and ordered 3 cake slices, 2 hot chocolates and a cappucino. While the drinks were tasty the service was extremely slow to the point the hot chocolates were lukewarm, not hot. Too long a queue to join to ask if they could do 2 more as the other drink, cappucino, would then have been cold. Lots of tables uncleared and the ones that were cleared were not wiped down well. The plush lesther seats were stained and lots of dust on the wooden rail trims. Then after all of that, the toilet, oh my word, it was just disgusting. It clearly had not been cleaned all day ( do staff even check it?!), it absolutely stank, pee on the floor and not just recent either, there were dried stains of pee too. Bits of toilet tissue over floor and the sink stained and dirty. If we had used the toilet first before ordering our drinks, we would not have stayed to order anything. It is only one toilet to be shared by all and that is fine, but with so many people using it, the staff have GOT to step up amd clean in there regularly. Manager of this store is clearly not keeping an eye on it all. Save your money and drink elsewhere.

We called in on the off chance for Sunday lunch on the way back from an event having read a good review recently. The maitre D runs a brilliant small team and the front of house couldn’t have been more accommodating - had taken drinks orders and suggested we enjoy the Sun whilst they set our table up. The food was really brilliant. I had pate for starters and my only criticism was that there was too much! Initially when I saw the large portion I assumed it would be average but it was a really lovely pate, just too much for me with two large slabs! Main was roast beef and it was brilliant, really lovely rolled sirloin served pink. We were on a hiding from the night before so neither indulged in the wine but they had a really lovely wine list and a busy restaurant. The service was lovely, so nice to see such a well turned out dining room complete with linen for Sunday service. 10/10 to front of house for all of their efforts here. Will definitely return in the week to sample their full menu(and wine list!)

Milkshake was just milk with squirty cream very thin consistency and had 2 tiny chunks of Mars bar at the bottom cake portions are very small for price and there's always something missing from the order won't waste money with them again

I am cross with myself that I have never been before to this gorgeous place. Such a gem, very tasteful, beautiful tea, amazing toasted sandwich and lush freshly baked cakes. I had a really relaxing afternoon with my friends on the terrace in the sunshine and delicious food. Thankyou. Please can you let me have some of your china teacups as they are exquisite!!!!
