A very Beautiful and Full of History and a very Relaxed Atmosphere. They have a very Lovely outside at the rear of the Hotel for visitors, customers and Hotel Guests. Very Good selection of different Wines, Beers and Cocktails. I Highly Recommend this Excellent Hotel a Must visit and sample it's very Welcoming Food and Beverages for the Clientle. Great little pub with a friendly atmosphere and lots of selections of beers. We didn't stay for long as we thought they did food, turns out they do not serve food. However they were friendly to point us in the right direction! Would deffo come back for more drinks

SERVICE WAS SHOCKING.... BEFORE WE EVEN ORDERED. but we continually ordered...myself and my partner was looking forward to eating a well deserved meal after work that we didn't have to cook. We order set meal for 2 with slightly modified to our taste. Got it home. Chow mein noodles was over cooked. Rice was dry and over cooked. Duck no taste or flavour. all round worst chinese and very unsatisfied myself and partner was ill throughout the whole night. Will NOT be returning.

Very good food and a good lots of different beers and very friendly staff

Visited at lunch time on a Saturday (12 October). Party of six friends and we couldn’t choose because the menu was so vast, and it all sounded so delicious. There was also a specials board with a wide range of dishes to choose from. When we finally decided, the food came pretty quickly and the portions were extremely generous. The food we had was outstanding and cooked with love and passion. Serving staff were so polite and checked on us a couple of times. And the prices were extremely reasonable too. Couldn’t fault it. Great pub with wonderful food and staff.

A lovely tradition village pub in the Lincolnshire countryside a short walk from the Travelodge by the A1 at Grantham. A chance to work up an appetite to enjoy the excellent food and local real ale! The pub was busy for a weeknight and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We were quickly shown to our table, drinks were delivered with a smile and our food order taken. The menu has traditional pub food with good vegetarian and gluten free options for many of the dishes. We both chose the steak and ale pie, which came with fresh vegetables and chips but new potatoes or mash were available. The pie was a real pie with the filling cooked with the pastry and there was a tasty soggy bottom and lots of gravy with beautifully tender beef. We ordered the traditional spotty dick and custard. Ordered at 6.15pm for a 7.30pm delivery. Arrived 8.15pm. Called several times and standard answer “ it’s on its way”. Arrived Warm not hot. Really felt so sorry for delivery driver, I always tip but didn’t as I was so mad with the service from restaurant. Won’t be using again.

Absolutely delicious Indian food! We had 4 different curry dishes over 2 days (Butter Chicken, Kurma, Tikka Labadar [which was absolutely crazy good], and Malai) and they were all to die for. Good serving sizes, reasonable prices, and very friendly staff. Just realize that rice doesn't come with the meals and is extra. As an American on holiday in England, I'd highly recommend the Curry Pot for tasty Indian food.

This restaurant was closed by order of Lincolnshire police in November 2023, due to anti-social behaviour and drug issues.

Food tasted normal when hot, then the fish had a weird back taste when cold. My son, myself and 2 cats ate the fish. We all had sickness and diarrhoea from the fish. This is the 3rd time we've been ill from this chip shop in the last 2 months. AVOID, a load kids running the place.
