Best chippy I've been to. Sorry don't know individuals names that work there but they are all so lovely, very polite and helpful. Highly recommend..

I was amazed and delighted with the quality and portion sizes of food from this establishment, would highly recommend them and the meal deals are fantastic.

The BEST fish & chips I've had in years. The service was great and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. Genuinely disappointed I'm not local and can't come more regularly!

Sorry but totally disappointed I thought I’d try it as I’d had chips before from someone else. But I walked in was asked if I’d like fish replied just chips please! Got no reply thought ok just may be he’s busy. Any way stood there for what seemed like 5 mins. A woman walked in and he served her straight away then another guy strolled in immediately served!! I looked at the server struggled my shoulders and raised my hands to which he bowed his head. Clearly not wanted my business. I left and went to Alma Park fish bar to a friendly atmosphere was served freshly fried chips and saved money too. Fat Tony did me a favour. Thx fat Tony ☺️👌🏼

Just tried Fat Tony’s tonight after hearing so many good reviews and I can say it did not disappoint! My mother and I shared a chicken Naan and it was amazing, tasted so fresh, we also shared a portion of chip. My partner had pie and chips and he loved it! Everything was so fresh, yes that meant we waited a while, but was so worth the wait! Staff were friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be returning now we’ve tried!

Came here because multiple friends saying that this is the best chippy in Lincolnshire. Fish and chips is not worth the 30 minute wait. Mediocre and overrated. Wellies on Springfield Road is much better.

No issues with food when you can eventually get it .....the problem is trying to get a delivery you need to up your game or people will simply go elsewhere that can deliver at busy periods . Perhaps hire another driver or on a self employed basis to get the orders out asap.

Something different in Grantham highly recommend Battered chip who would have thought 🤔

Best fish and chips in town I consider. Pure white beautiful fish with no skin and crisply fried in a thin batter. Chips not greasy. All produced and wrapped nicely by courteous and friendly staff. I’ll be back!

Decent value fish and chips . Kebab meat wasn't the best but that's my only criticism

Had fish and chips from here last night. They were delicious , freshly cooked . The staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They have lots of really good deals which makes it the perfect takeaway for families.

Wow never again will I order through Fat tony Fish and Chips had an order a month ago found a hair in the food phoned up and complained, they said we could reorder on different day!!! Called up a couple of weeks ago asking for some fish and other bits to be delivered as we’d had a few drink to be told they don’t deliver so cancelled,, called again today to be told nope because when we ordered the last time they had put the fish in already and they had to throw it away as apparently it wasn’t sold, what a load of rubbish!!!! Nearly 30 pound wasted as I said oh well have a refund then and a NO as well!!!

Now named Fat Tonys and service/food are back to my original review :) Really good chip shop chips, good sized & excellent tasting fish in a nice batter, plus good value, accompanied by friendly service to match. A change up of the menu too, now offering kebabs (which are really good), but the star of the show are the pizzas. Now visiting more regularly than I have done before.

Just called in for some late evening snacks. Absolutely huge portions very hot and tasty

Excellent food and service! Was so impressed when we walked in, ordered a large and caried order and had great customer service from the young lady on the till. The lady serving was really helpful telling us about options and chucked in a couple of battered chips for us to try too as we said they sound interesting. The cavalry was lovely! Hadn't had a good one in grantham before so this is the place to get them! Honestly the food was delicious. Thanks!

Found the menu to fat Tony’s in the shop next door decided to give it a try later that night and wow I can honestly say not the slighted bit disappointed the food was beautiful pizzas are fresh chips are beautiful and not greasy pies are fresh curry sauce is amazing just an all round amazing meal! Can’t wait to return!!

I was new to this place. The food was spot on to be fair. The mixed kebab and normal kebab and chips were nice, full of flavour and taste. Will try some more on the next return.

Really good products, chips cooked perfectly and the kebab and naan were lovely. Disappointed that there was only one piece of haddock so I let my wife have that..... I was disappointed not demented 😂!

Food is excellent here, every order ok have had has been perfect, one of the best kebabs in town too.

Ordered via just eat was told it will arrive for 7:45 didn't come till 8:15 (1 and a half hours after Order) to arrive cold. Phoned them to complain and got an arrogant answer saying take it up with just eat

We called 3 days running and we were greeted lovely & polite. The food was absolutely lovely. Even though I was working in the area I would definitely travel from my home in chesterfield to visit again FANTASTIC and great deals at great prices SEE YOU SOON FAT TONEYS

This is such a good chippy. Really tasty! My mum described the kebab as chefs kiss👌🏻battered chips are really clever and delicious too. New family favourite chippy I think.

Just got a delivery from fat Tony’s and everything was perfect piping hot and tasty all our family enjoyed the meals . Forgot to take pics but will next time . This is definitely our new go to place for chippy Friday

Just had a meal from here family of three Just under £32 pound with service charge added on should be ashamed of there selves food is dear enough without the service charge may I add I should be giving these a service charge for using my electric to warm the food up stone cold pie and fish was also cold chips was warm its a definite no from me in future.

Just had 2 homemade pizzas 12 " with five toppings of your choice. £7.50 a pizza. Being a fish and chip shop I didn't expect much. They blew me away! Fresh dough using semolina to stop the stone baked pizza from sticking. All fresh ingredients. For £ 15 , better than any chain restaurant in G town. I have paid more than that for a sub standard pizza at Papa John's ! Well done Frydays. All ways enjoyed your fish and chips, pizza is also on my menu with you. 😀😀😚

Service was very pleasant, however the fish was inedible and the chips not much better. Very disappointed, couldn't eat it, all went in the bin.

Called one lunchtime. Lived around area all life, but never visited before. Everything appeared clean and tidy. Food not hot enough, and chips very ordinary. There are far better chippies in Grantham, based on this visit. Friendly, polite service but product fell short.

Me gusta este lugar, realmente hacer. Parece impecablemente limpio, la comida es de buena calidad y los precios son normales para la zona. Pero el servicio es tan lento! ! Parece que cocinar casi todo a la orden, incluso las patatas fritas. Estoy bastante seguro de que el propietario no argumentan que esta mejora la calidad, ya que todo es fresco, pero cada vez que voy allí tengo que esperar para patatas fritas. No es como si estuviera muy ocupado, el lugar está escondido en una zona residencial. Yo no trabajo en catering, pero como observador interesado, sospecho que es más fácil si un "fish and chips" es muy concurrida por lo menos entonces siempre vivo. Como he dicho, me gusta este lugar, sólo me hubiera gustado que fuera mas rápido!
