Oscars Wine bar in South Kesteven

I came across this place by chance as there was no bar in the services I was staying in. I am glad I did, the food was great and reasonably priced. Same with the beer, all the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The Stamford Post is a great looking pub from outside and doesn't disappoint on the inside. Unlike most Wetherspoons, the tables are set a good distance apart so that you can enjoy your meal without feeling like you are sitting too close to the people on the next table. The tables were cleared quite quickly between sittings, and our food came out very quickly. The food that we had was very good and still very hot when served to us. The pub was very busy, and my only complaint was there was a lack of sauces available, and when I asked, I was told to go and ask someone at another table if I could use theirs, which seemed unhelpful, but overall the pub was very good.

Absolutely delicious Indian food! We had 4 different curry dishes over 2 days (Butter Chicken, Kurma, Tikka Labadar [which was absolutely crazy good], and Malai) and they were all to die for. Good serving sizes, reasonable prices, and very friendly staff. Just realize that rice doesn't come with the meals and is extra. As an American on holiday in England, I'd highly recommend the Curry Pot for tasty Indian food.

A wide variety of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. If you like sport, there are televisions inside and out. Food is available Monday - Saturday: 12.00 - 15.00. Large beer garden. Always met with a smile by helpful and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Ordered for collection, ready in 15 mins, meal for 5 of us. Great service and value. We had: Chicken with cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce, yummy Szechwan chicken, very nice Chicken curry, tasty Lemon chicken, lots of sauce Beef in Black Bean sauce, my favourite Singapore Chow Mein, fiery Sweet & Sour pork Cantonese style Large egg fried rice Singapore fried rice Chips Prawn crackers, FOC. All food was superb, see picture. We ate almost all of it, just a mid sized portion left for Sunday breakfast 😁 All in £58 Defo recommend.
