McDonald's in South Kesteven

If you like cold food and long waits, this is the place for you!

Rude staff, long waiting times and poor food. Apart from some of the older/original staff members (Viney, Sally, Nikki, Carol, Mandy, Mary et al) I wouldn't recommend this place at all. It used to be a great McDonalds with good food and good service but not lately. Very disappointing.

got my order wrong even after going in again to try sort it, gave me the complete wrong food and then my other food had the ingredients i’d specifically not ordered as i’m allergic, so now can’t eat it

It's a fast food restaurants , nothing fancy , food was as it always is at McDonald's, clean , bit cold sitting under the a/c unit , told a member of staff ,within seconds it was warming us.

You need an over flow system that stops people . Going into Mac Donald’s when the car park is full … greedy burger gobblers . Holding all the traffic up on Springfield road it’s absolutely disgusting. Because you lot turn a blind eye to it . SORT IT OUT !!!!!

Standard food, perfectly decent. But as always now, an interminable wait for food. Every Just Eat and Uber Eats operative in the region always seem to be in there.

If I could do 0 stars I would. I ordered a kids meal. It's was ordered number 37. Took around for 15 mins..... orders coming in and them shouting was for 45 -50. I just canceled. Walked out hungry

Although very busy staff coped really well. Very well organised.

It's a maccys so you know what you're getting, but it's nicer than most. Carpark can be a nightmare

They got part of the order wrong twice and the chips were soft

One of the dirtiest bathrooms I have seen in a McDonald's. Soap dispensers had been smashed up and just refilled with soap. Toiets very unclean. Food was ok no complaints here. Friendly young staff but wasn't too sure what a black coffee was .... When I said americano ohhn that's a coffee. Over all not too bad

Waited forever, cold chips and soggy wrap. Worse meal ever.

Good breakfast. Very clean, my tipple is a Double espresso which is mainly consistent across all McDonald venues. This one was excellent

Visited and had a drive thru Food lukewarm ( even less warm than any other McDonald's I've reluctantly had to use ) Drink ( coke ) tasted like it had chemical cleaning fluid of something in it .. one sip and emptied the lot McDonald's isn't gourmet, but the food here was way below average, more like poor !

Sttod on there phones after asking for some sauce at the counter as the machine was empty

Ordered takeaway and we were missing a burger (a Big Mac as well which is more on the expensive side). EVERY TIME we ordered some sort of takeout at this restaurant something is missing. Where is the organisation? Most annoying thing is that when we called the restaurant and contacted the virtual assistant on the app they said we have to contact Uber to get this resolved. This was not Uber's fault! The delivery driver was great - right on time and polite. The bag was closed and locked with the cardboard so the driver couldn't have lost anything. This was the restaurants fault for not putting it in so I do not understand why Uber and the delivery driver is being blamed for a mistake that's not theirs.

Ordered 4 x Mc Spicy drive through had to wait about 20 minutes to collect went home and checked no fries extremely poor service.Asked them to deliver it to home refused.Terrible service

McDonald's always good for quick easy food ..we just popped in for a coffee ☕ as we were passing and could park the car and walk in. Not the greatest flavour coffee (hence the 4 ****) but the staff were friendly and efficient, the resturant was spotlessly clean and the food being served looked great.. 👍

Food is typical of Maccies. Ordering on the app for collection always seems to take an age.

Grim. Some sort of paper served in the inside the cheese. Staff need some training on how to put things right when mistakes happen. Did nothing to make me want to revisit. Left hungry. Got a refund.

And here we go again, the reason why I am always sceptical of Drive Thru, cold food and stiffed for something you don't want

My last review was a bad one. Google has asked me if I'd like to update it based on my most recent visit. As bad language offends, I've decided not to do a review.

My mate was waiting outside for me whilst I went in and was waiting for a McFlurry by itself and was stood there for 10 minutes and I was the only person and my McFlurry wasn’t even half full

Always have to wait In the car park no matter what you order

Terrible food. Fries tasted stale, refried, rubbery and cold. McChicken with bacon bread was also stale, chewy and cold, Mcchicken sandwich the same, quarter pounder with cheese was barely warm and missing relish and pickles. There was no milkshakes available at all and we didnt get sauces we requested. Been told food is always the same there. Very, very poor, avoid!!

service isn't good need to work on that sometimes food cold or missing but not been a while so looks like customer service getting bit better

Ordered through the McDonald’s app. 3 large meals and the fries were cold and the portion was outrageous. It was basically a medium in a large. The burger patties were cold. If I am paying for a large fries I better get large! Ridiculous for the prices we pay nowadays. Do not recommend!

The food tasted of old cooking oil , they got the order wrong, food was cold.

Rubbish food 😑 not tasty cold food

It's McDonald's what can you say. Fast food at reasonable price, but more expensive than it used to be. Service was ok and food was hot.

Ordered through the app, received email confirmation with our business address clearly on it. Driver didn't show up. Called me at 9am, I called back immediately at 9:02am and was at the wrong address. Gave him the correct address but was told it was 2 miles away and 6 minutes away and he wasn't going to be paid for it then hung up on me. Then got text that it was delivered. Called the ubereats and was told the driver had followed their policy, waited 12 minutes and tried to contact me. Refused to give me a refund and refused to give me their complaints policy. Called the restaurant ordered from and gave me the number for uber eats and explained what happened but was just told to call the number. Gave me another number but was put through to the original people. So £25 lost for something not my fault, no food and no way of getting my money back. Not much sympathy from the restaurant just told they couldn't do anything except give me a number.

Missing items from the order twice In one week! Half the order missing the second time! How hard can it be??

The last time I visited a McDonald's (in Brighton) was almost my last as it was SO dreadful. But GRANTHAM was different again, the food was fresh and for a McDonald's, was actually quite nice. Well done Grantham, 10/10

Only ordered drinks but seemed to take a very long time

Crowded, busy and not enough parking. And on my last visit they left 2 things out of my order... They did promptly correct them though when asked.

Decent macky d's located on a prime route through Grantham on the way to skeg Vegas! We popped in for lunch and tried the new quarter pounder and galaxy pie out. Not a bad decent bit of grub to be fair, certainly filled the belly up!

Well you would imagine that all Mac Donald's are created equal but they are clearly now. Unfortunately my local one seems to always have luke-warm burgers with a weird smell meaning lack of machine cleaning in the back I suspect. However my burger here was warm and tasted fresh so this has annoyed me as why could my local not be like this. The only reason why it does not get the faith star is that the best Mac D I have had has been in Holborn London. Each visit never disappoints. This Mac D is good ample parking and as you would expect inside. It's always fairly busy which is another good sign.

Expect long queues. Good bit of news is that you don't need to speak to staff anymore and can just order using the app.

Just called in for a coffee and to use the facilities on this occasion. Place was clean and tidy as you would expect form a McDonalds.

Delivery on the app is very poor the last 3 times we have ordered only got everything we ordered once

Great big mac , got it home this is what i got. Don’t even pretend that someone didn’t see that before it went out. Is it because i asked for no pickles? Shame.. when there are 20+ staff on a shift, be respectful to your customers after all without us you would close. Blessed be

When delivered the fries always arrive cold and the Big Mac often has cheese/lettuce etc missing.

Sat at drive through speeke and had no response, other speaker was being spoken too there was 3 people behind us that then ended Infront because nobody was answering the speaker we were at. Terrible service just bang out of order. Now second time in a row I have had an issue this time with my order not being right. Ordered a raspberry pie, and got a pineapple stick. What a joke.

Spent £25 on meals at drive through, live 5 minutes away and all food items was stone cold, won't be going back again

I want to know why they call a BIG MAC a big Mac as its the smallest burger i think I've seen.. talk about shrinking portions .. sadly, UK McDonald's it not what it used to be .. certainly not the go-to place like it used to be ..

Cold, should have been thrown away. I asked to change it, none available. 5 mins to process a refund, didn't have the time to wait. Unacceptable.

some workers are not friendly, sometimes you have to wait a long time for an order. in general, very clean, but the employees there are not very good

Waited half an hour for FAST FOOD. On top of that, had to wait 15 minutes for more chips as I was served half a portion of brown crusty things that resembled twigletts more than fries. Not only this but at least 3 other customers had to come in and get new food. Whole experience was proper spiders

Ordered food at 1pm so that it would hopefully arrive in time for my lunch break at 1:30pm. It is now 2:22pm, food has not turned up STILL and i am back at work in 8 minutes. Thanks for nothing.

Food cold & poor, lots of broken ipads. Very busy. Shoehorn of a cat park and noisy atmosphere with unruly youngster clientele.

This location is not 24/7, there is an extended period of time each night where they do not accept customers (starting ~12). They can not tell you how long it will be before you get served (15min > 2 hours) and they lock the doors.

When you ody cash you have to go to the till as you can't use the stupid machines that are probably covered in feaces. Problem is like most McDonald's staff see you stood there but make no attempt to serve you or get anyone else to serve you. This isn't specific to this particular restaurant but seem to ignore you longer than the others

Shocking attitudes towards accessibility parking spaces, managers shrug off their responsibilities.

Food not hot, long que and food had been sat a while. Server- more warmth from a fish on ice.

Food was good, service great brought the food out to my car, atmosphere was excellent in my car with my own tunes with no annoying people with me, had to get out my car to put rubbish in the bin myself as the staff didn't come back over to tidy up. The car park was clean and tidy with the police patrol that went through the drive thru making sure all was safe and sampling the food

I feel McDonalds is one of the safer choices when traveling as it is rather uniform in what is offered (A Big Mac will always be a Big Mac) so when a McDonalds exceeds expectations it is nice little supprise to add a little bit of happiness into your day. My partner and I had breakfast here today and it is kept very clean and tidy and presented well, the food was great and the server couldn't be more helpful 10/10. The only thing to let it down was the delivery drivers as they are so ignorant and in the way and not even attentive when their pick up is called, but that is not a McDonalds fault.

Probably the worst restaurant in the world. Few times something was missing from the order, e.g. Burger in the meal (i know its not important component), cold food, or taking orders and not fulfilling them. Unhelpfull staff. Dont know Why this płace is still open. Probably for making peoples angry once again. Zero stars.

If I could give zero stars for Grantham McDonald's I would. Staff and manager clearly don't know how to do proper customer service to solve order mistakes THEY have made. Along with making you pay in full but not actually getting ALL of the order to begin with and not helping to solve the issue but call out on the customer with rude behaviour instead!? Who do you employ over there? Unprofessional dumb dumbs I guess. SORT YOUR MANAGER OUT - JOSH DREY - HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE HIS JOB PROPERLY.

Never again! They over salted the cheeseburger to the point I had to spit it out! I hope it wasn't a deliberate prank? Although I also hope it want just a mistake!!!

Absolutely useless. Ordered a breakfast roll, they sent it out minus the egg. This is not the first time either.

What a complete DIRE experience. The staff are unable to understand, when you say you want HOT fries. Not cold Not lukewarm Hot. Hopefully someone will educate them on, what piping hot means & that it doesn’t mean replacing the luke warm fries, with more luke warm fries.

The restaurant is fine but it's got a terrible car park. Every time we go, it's a nightmare to park up and it's not helped by people parking on lines and where it's not a space with the staff doing nothing to police it.

The food is nice but sometimes cold,and you have to wait a while to get your food in the drive through only to get parked up for 15-25 minutes. i feel like service has slowed down a bit since deliveries started being a thing there as it seems that they are served before others,because of this they usually mess up the order or leave stuff out.i once went there and they forgot sauce on a mcflurry so the person went back to ask for sauce,the girl who made it got shouted at by the manager.

Very busy but we'll organised. Plenty of available seating. Food of a good McDonald's standard. Kept clean despite how busy it was. Car parking can be an issue.

Staff look depressed and never smile, food quality is terrible chips are always tasting reheated and like chewing cardboard. Have had to complain about this McDonald’s plenty of times whenever I order my food is always cold.. Grantham services McDonald’s is much better and their food tastes better gone downhill over the years

Every time I order take out no sauces that I pay extra for and this time not even a straw and freezing chips, go Burger King.

Queuing to get in the carpark gangs of teenagers stood on outside tables chaotic atmosphere inside had to wait ages for food while they served the endless delivery drivers. This is not great customer service as the people who actually visit your premises have to wait while you cater for people who can't be bothered to actually maje it into store. Wouldn't go again in a hurry prefer the Sleaford branch much friendly and better managed.

Drive through Served 3 cars on the other side before coming to us.. Then didn't have what we wanted. Very disappointed. Service very slow. They clearly need more staff.

My experience of this place hasn’t been great over the the 12 months. Cold food, milk shake might have been stood for a while so was more like milk. Thought this for a while but gave it the benefit of doubt, not anymore. Won’t go there again. On a positive note, staff nicer

Cannot even get a basic breakfast order right, order 3 breakfasts get 2, you cannot get anything back as urber and McDonalds shift blame...

Food arrived COLD. Can't eat it and of course no one was interested in resolving the issue.
