Excellent food hot fresh and value for money and great service never had a bad meal. Some people have called it but they either have no taste buds or trying spoil things for a business shouldn’t be allowed

Absolutely amazing food with great service in a wonderful atmosphere. Slow cooked belly pork with perfect crunchy skin. To die for red cabbage. Home cooked Yorkshire puddings. Highly recommended

We stayed in spring cottage. Wow, lovely property with everything we needed. On arrival we were shown around by a lovely lady who is a credit to your establishment. We had late lunch that was delicious. Staff are friendly and service impeccable. Breakfast was exceptional and we would thoroughly recommend. A lovely stay.

Disgraceful, filthy grotty place. Please see attached photos taken today. The toilets are signed as though cleaned hourly, this has not been cleaned for months.

After a walk to Man Tor before catching the train to Sheffield, it's always good to have a pint in The Rambler Inn, open fire, friendly welcome and reasonably priced beer.

Myself and my wife along with another couple called in on Hargreaves cafe for an afternoon tea for each couple to share. Because we were sharing we required another cup and saucer. When I asked for this I was told that I would be charged £3.50 for the empty cup and saucer. Soggy bread sandwiches made up the afternoon tea. When we asked for more sugar we were given a sachet each, penny pinching in the extreme. Also included at no extra cost was a very grubby tablecloth (paper). After paying the bill we left the premises in shock at having to pay £3.50 for an empty cup and saucer. Needless to say we shall not be making a return visit, for the money absolute rubbish

Waited over an hour for food, when it eventually arrived it was over cooked and tasteless. Not a friendly atmosphere for a Country Pub.

A lovely place to have lunch before starting our walk along the Monsal trail. The food was so lovely and fresh, and Molly, our waitress was very attentive.

Called in Cuccinis after a night out Lisa served is always so helpful and friendly! We had a meat feast pizza, chips and 2 donner kebabs it was all superb!! The pizza was absolutely delicious the best I have had for a long time. Definitely the best takeaway in Buxton by far give it a try 👍

Some reviews say staff are extremely pleasant, professional & kind to all customers, I did not find this today - so much so I won't go there again. I am usualy really keen to support all local businesses. Staff attitudes are really odd.

My friends and i went to the red lion for drinks and were immediately pleased with the warm welcome from the staff behind the bar. Staff were attentive and provided drinks quickly. We were also very happy to have music playing out of the speakers! It provided a lovely atmosphere that made for a good time. Would definitely go back, lovely pub.

We just came across this place when we were exploring Torrs Riverside park and Millennium walkway. Lovely ambience, Friendly vibe and Generous portion of Fabulous tasting food. Loved it and we will visit again soon when in the area.
