Whaley Kebab Pizza House in High Peak

Got pizza from here on the way back from a gig. It was really good.

Top place in the high peak for authentic Turkish kebabs and cuisine

We had a lovely takeaway from here tonight. Would return and really prompt delivery.

Delivery is fast, food is excellent and service friendly inside the shop. I thought I'd try the fried chicken out of interest, and it smashes a greasy KFC.

Until.proof off a better hygiene rating after last week with photos of a cockroach on the food sent out for delivery,think.ill pass🤢🤢

Temporarily closed due to selling food with insects in. Never going here again.

The worst kebab I've ever had in ages. Kebab meat was dry and hard. We asked for sauce no sauce and the doner kebab bread was a wrap stuffed in the side of the box. Chicken warp had kebab meat in it, when I ordered only chicken! No sauce that I asked for was on the chicken wrap! The staff were more interested in the Uber takeaway orders then us in the shop! Very disappointed. I'd recommend skipping this kebab shop when driving through the area. 0/10

Had large Shawarma and chips , with lettuce, onions, jalapeños, chilli sauce and sweetcorn relish, it was very good , the Shawarma is really tastey and the chips are crispy, fresh salad and good heat from Chilli sauce, great value at £7 plus a bottle of Pepsi for £2.50

Use it 4 times and 4 times it’s come late and food always wrong never again. Waited 3 hours for a refund and told on the phone I was wrong what I ordered I think I no what I want wen I order food.

Best takeaway in Whaley for sure. Good is excellent. Lots on the menu and also offer a good selection of everything you would expect. Delivery service is also very good.

Seems a nice place for food but when i have ordered pizza its either burnt crispy or not enough cheese on it. Its always busy but not for me.

Edited 11/10/22: Given them another couple of goes recently and things seem to have improved quite a bit. Speedy delivery, all items correct, and everything tastes good.

Can't fault the guys at Whaley kebab shop; friendly service, great food and very clean environment. Portions are generous to enormous and a good selection for veggies and vegans....halloumi wrap is to die for!!

Always good food here. Prices and pretty good too. Drive here from Chapel just because it's consistent and food is always ready when expected.

Two chicken shawarma kebabs. Full of lovely fresh chicken - had to take some off And eat afterwards was that full! Burgers were lovely. Would return.

Ordered mix meat and chips £7.00 . Got home and tonnes of Donner meat hardly any chicken at all and the chips !!! Omg STOP frying them and then when cold re fry they are disgusting rock hard . It’s simple that type of chip takes minutes people would rather wait to get some kind of decent chip then crap and give more chicken meat . Havnt visited for quite long time and thought give it one more go but hey you havnt changed still poor .

Not a clue what's going on at whaley kebab house of late??. Months ago it was passable. Tonight we ordered a donner kebab, 1/4 cheeseburger with extra cheese and chips. Donner was in a tray with lettuce and onion. A wrap possibly from tesco was outside the box unwrapped so was too dry to make my kebab. The burger was cremated, a tiny burnt bit of cheese slice in the middle of a stale rock hard bun to say, we won't be ordering again Nor recommending to our guests.....got some front to serve that kind of food and not expect a toss review.

Ordered a kebab with the sauce separate as my wife and I share , I like chilli she doesn't. Kebab arrived with the chilli sauce all over it. We rang and told them and the food was redone and delivered in less than 10 minutes. Great service👍

Ordered 4 piece of chicken and a garlic bread with cheese . Ordered the chicken no chips due to allergy and a thin base garlic bread . When it arrived chips were with the chicken so had to throw that away. Opened the garlic bread and found it was thick crust . All in all a complete waste of £14

Absolutely horrible, my naan bread was still dough, my chicken nuggets tasted like fish fingers, if I wanted a full onion on my burger, i would of asked. I asked for seperate sauce, where was that? The best thing about my order was my can of RIO and I'll be cleaning the top of that. If I could rate this place it would be minus 5 but I can't only give a one star, absolute jokers!

Food was shocking and massively overpriced for the state of the food even the salad only tastes of water this is by far the worst ever take away iv ever tried its made me feel sick 5 minutes after trying it managed 2 bites before I felt horrible

DONT double fry chips awful , hard and inedible . Mixed meat !!! 90% 10 % if that other meat should be half half for price . Worse meal had for long time and won’t be back .

Good food but inconsistent with delivery times. When asked about an update we were told it had already set off but it actually hadn’t.

Chicken shawarma was seriously tasty and great with the Turkish rice. Absolutely massive portions, really delicious and a good price too.

Second time had food poisoning from this place. Avoid at all costs. First time wasn't sure but concerns clarified now.

I stumbled upon this charmingly little kebap shop whilst out on a long walk with my Fox Terrier, Sharon. Feeling rather peckish and never having had a kobab before I was tempted in by the neon sign, which simply said 'Open'. It was a blustery day, I had walked thus far from Macclesfield, having got lost on my way to the river. Anyway, being COVID compliant I decided to go in. Having never tried a kepab before I plumped for the Doner-of-the-day. It was truly divine, a work of art I would say. I strongly recommend the Donor-of-the-dead. Sharon and I were so full we could hardly walk. Thankfully, Colin was passing in his new Fiat ButtyBox.

What is wrong with Whaley kebab. Last couple of meals were mediocre at best. Last nights was just awful. Ordered pizza on thin base what I got was an undercooked doughy mess , way too much cheese and only one of the extra toppings I ordered??? The resulting stodgy mess meant I could only eat 2 slices of the pizza then was full of carb overload. And at £13.50 (delivered) it was an expensive waste of money

Ordered tonight from Whaley Kebab. Had the 8oz gourmet burger. Sadly so far from gourmet it’s not true. Burger was absolutely full of tough gristly meat couldn’t even eat it. Left a nasty unpleasant taste in the mouth. Also for Whaley Kebab it arrived lukewarm. Definitely wouldn’t ever recommend it

Horrible staff. Indifferent bullies, the Donna 'loaf' sits in the window of the shop front all day, often in direct Sunlight while the Donna slab melts in the intensified heat. Great for the drunks at 12.30 am onwards.How they got a 5* rating God knows. .It's not the Whaley Kebab House, its the WB crime den.

Firstly - hygiene is everything! This place is really clean and the staff are lovely, friendly and polite. Really good prices for the quality and how nice and fresh the food is. We ate from here 3 nights running it was that good!! Would highly recommend and this would 100% be my first choice for takeout if visiting the area again.

We've lots of nearer places, but go out of our way to eat from here, the food is fresh and excellent and service fast and polite. They also deliver always with a smile, it's well worth a visit. B

This probably is still the best kebab shop for many miles around and continuously serves excellent kebabs. The service was always excellent and the previous manager was engaging and happy to see you. Who’s the mood killer you’ve employed? No ‘please’ no ‘thank you,’ anything you asked doesn’t receive a response and you get the impression the manager really doesn’t want to be there. Shame.

The cleanest kebab shop I have seen in a long time! The staff were friendly and well presented. The best kebab I have eat in years, a real shame I can’t eat from here more often as I live so far away!! (We were on holiday in Whaley Bridge) If we return to the area, we will eat from here again for sure.

Use this take away all the time - pizzas are delicious and the food is always delivered quickly whilst still hot and I can’t fault anything with the food. Chips are lovely, kebabs are lovely, burgers look good

Decent food for a reasonable price. The quality could improve, but overall nothing major to complain about. The staff are excellent and delivery times are very quick.
