Subway Glossop in High Peak

3rd time ordering online and what happens, oh driver coming, finding driver, driver coming, finding driver for over an hour and at point of writing the food still isn't here. The food isn't fresh if you order on deliveroo, just eat or the subway app. And I know that the staff are capable of whipping orders together in record time so it's their delivery driver's issue. Said delivery driver being related to the supervisor and thus not getting reprimanded is surely helping to improve service (note the SARCASM). DO BETTER!

Why would you add cheese to an order when we didn't request it or pay for it. Really strange and not great for people with lactose intolerance. I'd avoid if you have any kind of intolerances/allergies. You'd think in this day and age a high street brand could accommodate basic dietary needs but it's not the case apparently. More fool us I suppose for not going to a local place instead-lesson learned.

Word of warning for anyone going to subway in Glossop. I had found this what looks like a hair in my sandwich, this was literally baked in the bread and the more you pulled the more the it came out but not completely. this isn’t a hair it’s SYNTHETIC WIRE from the baking trays, when I complained to the woman about this who was extremely rude her response was “listen you come in here nearly everyday and have never complained, this happens to all the bread look…” 1.how rude to say I’m in a place everyday when I’m not, and regardless if I was that is nothing to do with the situation 2.she brought 2 different breads to show me that each one have the synthetic plastic inside Whilst I was in this heated discussion over the plastic wire I had found her and the male were both laughing at me to which I asked them not to but they continued to do so in a mocking and disrespectful manner. This has been reported to health and safety This post is just a warning to keep an eye on what you are eating especially when it contains plastic…🤮🤮🤮🤮

More personality in a morgue! Staff in there are so miserable! Don’t have them nacho chicken bites either they’re grim! Bread was also stale, which she obviously knew about but gave it out anyway.

I've had a few bad results at this subway with the odd few staff, but thought we would try again today the man who was there today was lovely smiling happy chappie nothing was to much trouble for him.

Most of the staff were Courteous, one of the staff wants to learn some manners.

Top notch. Sell subs by foot and inches. Never went metric unlike some.m - Good lads (and lasses!!!). Keepin it British. Knocks Artisani breads into a tin hat. No beer but Wetherspoons (we call it spoons hear) close. Crumbs!

Sub was nice but wrapped very poor, half of my sub fell out of the bread and one of the staff members who made my sandwich made me feel very unwanted and was rude to me and my girlfriend the way she interacted with us, almost seemed like they were being forced to work

I love this subway, never had any problems and the staff are always nice and helpful.

The general service was slow . The girl who served me for the salad section was messing with her fringe as she waited for the bread to be toasted. Not great hygiene there . Whilst I was paying she neglected to ask me about the sauce and assumed I didn't want any and proceeded to wrap up my dry sandwich with the ends hanging out so the contents could potentially fall out. I had to ask for a bag!! Poor service . Not difficult to train your staff to ask if the customer wants any sauce and or bag ??!! Also this particular branch is the first I've come across NOT to offer NHS discount. I realise they are under no obligation to, but would be nice . Tip: don't touch your face when you're serving food !!

Shocking! Over two hours to arrive and then the order was mixed up and cold. The food was inedible and went straight in the bin. Save your time and money... Don't order from here! I would have given 0 stars if that was an option.

If you like slow service and watching staff mess about, constantly get food orders wrong and have low hygiene standards with hair in your food, then this is the place for you. Otherwise just avoid the place, possibly the worst subway I have ever been in..... ever!

Spacing really poor. If you stand on the blobs on the floor you are less than one metre from the people at the counter, due to the chairs they have lined up. If you don't stand on the blobs 'Atilla' with the visor shouts at you, not very helpful if you're hard of hearing. She didn't challenge the person not wearing the mask and most of the staff weren't wearing masks. Layout needs a bit of a rethink. Also had to ask her to change her gloves when handling a Gluten free order, this should be automatic, clearly no idea about cross contamination even though they charge extra for the gluten free bread. Like other big chain restaurants in the town they want our money but no real commitment. Recommend: Go elsewhere.

On my way to have a tattoo done I've pop in for a sub. And it's another one I really enjoyed. Staff like to chat and you can tell they enjoy what they do. Portions are enjoyable and my double cheese look like triple one. And when I asked for extra onion ( I love red onion on my sub) I was asked is that enough or do I want more. That's the way we should be served. Place look clean, tables are clean although I can imagine it's difficult to keep place clean while you've got customers coming in and out.

Subs are ok, not enough salad though, a bit stingy 3 leaves of spinach isn't enough.

Sandwich was ok, table could be cleaner, went to the toilet, hand dryer could be updated. when I left, I was told toilets are for customers only with a bit of a tone. Once I explained I was a customer, the bossy staff apologised. Probably would not go again.

Served by a tall bloke with my friends, seemed very miserable and customer service was a lot to be desired, could see him in the back and had no urgency to serve us. One young girl came off her break to come serve me, and was very apologetic, disgraceful service from that man, let the team down.

My second review on Subway Glossop,the first time had to walk out due to lacklustre staff experience but was suggested by my wife to visit for lunch, a young chap was super friendly and helpful, his colleague had a friendly disposition,the tables were clean and the food ordered was great. We will return again. Well done Subway Glossop.

Swear down brown fam this shop is so sick. mans asked for the freshest Greens in the gaff and she just stuck her finger down her throat and full projectile spaffed broccoli into this rap.i even think i got some free chicken on the side fam, Get the vomit comet rap and i swear you wont regret it fam.

Always dirty. The food is lovely but that's a given as it's bought in like that. The staff seem like they can't be bothered, they're very slow. Considering the high staff turn over you'd think they'd want to do better and keep their jobs or maybe it's the fear of losing their jobs that makes them like that. All the staff have to do is make sandwiches which to be fair anyone can do but "hey guys try smiling, try greeting your customers and try cleaning the place". Probably 1 of the worst subways I've been in.

When they have the product, this Subway is pretty good. The main problem is their stock control. I visit, perhaps, once every three weeks, so let’s say 20 times a year or a bit less. Over the last year I’ve encountered no bread at all (once); no tuna (five times); none of a specific type of bread that I wanted (four times) and the shop closing early (twice). So that made 11 visits where I went elsewhere out of 20 (maximum). And, as I say, the product is fine when they have it, and the shop generally clean and friendly. They suffer greatly from visitors from local schools, whose product is, shall we say, ‘difficult’, and the staff cope very well with fairly trying situations. But that stock control and running out of product is so regular, it must be costing the franchisee dearly.

Love subway. AMAZING food and staff have always been friendly enough in all the branches I've been to.

I stopped off at this Subway while I was in Glossop shopping at the end of October. The location of this outlet is perfect because it is right on the high street. The staff at this restaurant were very good. They were very friendly and were very swift in preparing my order. The food was nice. It was Subway and was up to the usual standard that I expected from a Subway.

So my card get declined and it was hella awkward but they gave me the sandwich anyways, neat.

1 person serving a massive queue of 5 people! Food wasn't exceptional

Called in for a sub,one girl serving a customer,3 females waiting and my wife and I,shouldn't take long I commented to my wife,after the customer was served the girl serving decided to count the money from the till,still we waited,an employee was sat down filling her face with a sub..... whatever happened to customer service ?,if I was a manager there I would have told the one eating to put the food down and return to serve or clean the dirty tables and to the miserable looking one serving to leave the till until a break in customers waiting,unfortunately we could wait no longer and left to a dirty look from the girl serving........ never again.... August 31st 4pm

Not much to say, needed a quick breakfast after staying at Travelodge and then heading out on the road. Server was a bit disinterested, until her colleague came in and they chatted. Probably won't order the omelette style egg again - it's pre-made to be re-heated and a bit rubbery. Probably a simple sausage butty should I Subway breakfast again.

Bought meal deal here the other day, had same as I do from my local sub but somehow it didn't taste quite the same. Maybe bread wasn't up to much that day

Called in Monday 13th March around 5pm on the way home from Manchester airport to be served by the friendliest, most helpful young lad I've ever come across behind a subway counter! Well done

Ate twice here in a month great food and ample space the only down side is both times their till receipts were unreadable seems a problem with the till that's still to be corrected

One of the bigger stores with ample space for eating in, pram and wheelchairs have plenty of room , it was clean and the staff were nice , the food was good as always

He estado en unos pocos metros para comodidad y son normalmente bien. Glossop Metro es uno de los mejores, tengo que decir, pero quizás el plan de asientos se podría haber hecho mejor. Hay un montón de espacio vacío que podría haber sido ocupado por más mesas si se planifica correctamente.

Visited at around 3pm on a Saturday afternoon went to order to be told no bread left!!! There was some in oven which would be Aprox 20mins surly the staff can see even subs are running low and throw another batch in myself with two kids and 3 families behind me all walked out think it's bad practise have since been informed this is a regular thing

Calm and relaxed, has a very good seating layout the staff are really kind and has god really good snadwiches

Staff are friendly and the sandwiches are what we've come to know and love from Subway. Always good for a quick pit stop to refuel when in town.

A very nicely kept Subway. Nice and clean. Staff served you with a smile and made you feel welcome. Whilst prices are the same at any Subway they are very competitive and you get what you want as well as see it prepared. Great

We were on a visit to Buxton, Derbyshire when called at Glossop on route, we intended going for a Steak Lunch but on passing this Subway in the High Street we noticed in the window a menu for salads priced at £2.29 these varied each day being Tuesday it was Italian with 3-4 different meats plus create your own combination all the veg you want.The salads we had were very tasty and very generous amounts, the staff were very pleasant young people plus the place was very spaces and spotlessly clean. This was an excellent pre main meal starter, would love to call again if in the area.

Have been here a few times when visiting the area. Always speedy and friendly service when I've been for breakfast and the place is always spotless at this time of the day. Will definitely visit for breakfast again.

standard subway eat in or take out. you know what you are getting. Good if you are on the move. Located right on the main junction in the town.

Eat in a few Subways, but this one it feels like a kid's sandwich. The putting together of the sandwich is very sloppy Joe and it makes it very messy to eat by comparison to other Subways. It always seems a bit scruffy too. I haven't sat at a clean table in all my visits, regardless of how busy or quite it is. Do take out now.

when we arrived, the staff were moody little rude as I took time what bread to choose. the working area was covered in cheese and other meats to be honest did not look good looked like been there all day!, in the end had a salad bowl as that really put me off.

Is of the same quality of food that you would expect from any Subway but is kept very clean and staff always friendly.

Asked for chicken pizziola said they never heard of it?? Told them how to make it they told me they wouldn't. Poor service bad attitude. First and last time I went.
