Subway Glossop in High Peak

The delivery service was fine . We order at least once a week, however today the bread used for both sandwiches was stale, we had to bin both, such a shame as normally the food as been ok .

Took sooo long to arrive! Not a good working lunch option at all!

When I got my sandwich the food was cold and the bread was soggy

Delivery time affected the quality. Driver said he had to go for petrol before he could deliver. This resulted in cold food, why couldn’t he go for petrol before he returned to the store to pick up orders?!

food cold.... seen on map that delivery driver stop off in McDonald's area.... then drove away from my area makes me think that he stop off somewhere else before me. I don't pay for food to reheat in my own microwave. Sort it out!!

Placed a huge order, didn’t receive one sandwich which was for a child, sent a coffee instead of a milkshake, didn’t get the free footlong cookie. Rang up and spoken to like cr*p by the staff all I wanted was the missing sandwich.

food was absolutely freezing and over an hour late the food wasn't even edible so I would like a percentage off what I paid back please. food was absolutely disgusting and was not eatable.

Delivery driver stopped at mcdonalds first to pick up another order, then delivered to another address before dropping my order off (all seen on the map) which resulted in cold and soggy food.

Well the courier had no idea where he was delivering to so wasn't entirely sure why he was chosen to deliver.

3rd time ordering online and what happens, oh driver coming, finding driver, driver coming, finding driver for over an hour and at point of writing the food still isn't here. The food isn't fresh if you order on deliveroo, just eat or the subway app. And I know that the staff are capable of whipping orders together in record time so it's their delivery driver's issue. Said delivery driver being related to the supervisor and thus not getting reprimanded is surely helping to improve service (note the SARCASM). DO BETTER!

Why would you add cheese to an order when we didn't request it or pay for it. Really strange and not great for people with lactose intolerance. I'd avoid if you have any kind of intolerances/allergies. You'd think in this day and age a high street brand could accommodate basic dietary needs but it's not the case apparently. More fool us I suppose for not going to a local place instead-lesson learned.

Sandwich and nachos come freezing and 25 mins late

Food was appalling! Had to take off the bread and put on a normal loaf as it was so wet the bread fell apart and neither sandwiches got eaten! Waste of £19

This is the second time I’ve ordered from them and they have got the order wrong. I ordered a vegetarian sub melt and I received on with meat on it.

Word of warning for anyone going to subway in Glossop. I had found this what looks like a hair in my sandwich, this was literally baked in the bread and the more you pulled the more the it came out but not completely. this isn’t a hair it’s SYNTHETIC WIRE from the baking trays, when I complained to the woman about this who was extremely rude her response was “listen you come in here nearly everyday and have never complained, this happens to all the bread look…” 1.how rude to say I’m in a place everyday when I’m not, and regardless if I was that is nothing to do with the situation 2.she brought 2 different breads to show me that each one have the synthetic plastic inside Whilst I was in this heated discussion over the plastic wire I had found her and the male were both laughing at me to which I asked them not to but they continued to do so in a mocking and disrespectful manner. This has been reported to health and safety This post is just a warning to keep an eye on what you are eating especially when it contains plastic…🤮🤮🤮🤮

Called the store 5 times after waiting 20 minutes to find out where my food is and it arrived cold

Very mixed review. It took over 2 hours for the food to be delivered to my address which is 0.5 miles away. I asked for an updated time on the app which pushed it back by half and hour it then took a further 40 mins from that for food to be delivered. During that time I rang the restaurant and was hung up on! Absolutely awful, will never order from subway again. Only good thing was the packet of crisps. Food was freezing cold and soggy. “Toasted” sandwich was just a soggy mess. All went in the bin! What a let down!

Soggy, mush, I’ll never order again from here look at the reviews consistently sent . My partner had 2-3 weeks ago and rated it but this time was awful I understand it’s raining but the packages were wet and soggy. The bread was stale and crisp were missing.

Got the wrong food, some spicy mayo all over the sandwich, I didn't ask for cheese, I didn't ask for it to melted. I couldn't handle the sauce so the sandwich went in the bin and the "cheesy" bites were cold lumps of stone in a box, couldn't eat those either. The bottle of drink we got, was warm!! Everything was awful.

It took over an hour and 20 minutes to receive the food. That was cold and soggy. When trying to ring the restaurant to ask why the food had been delayed a very rude lady kept interrupting me instead of listening that I placed the order at 11 o’clock she insisted “I was wrong and she was right and that she would cancel the order if I was going to complain as she didn’t need to be dealing with complaints “. She also stated at first she didn’t have an order for my address before realising it was with the driver. Pure incompetence. I can’t believe £21.84 for this order that is soggy and horrible and no where near the standard normally set by subway that is supposed to be “fresh” - only to be spoken to like this by someone who is supposed to be working in customer service. I would like a refund and if this doesn’t happen I will take to sharing this experience as the woman on the phone explained it was the fault of just eat and not subway. I definitely won’t be ordering from here again after being spoken to so rudely and this isn’t the first time I’ve heard of the glossop subway staff being so rude to customers when they have made mistakes. Most of the time they are stood around talking and on their phones instead of serving customers, I have seen this first hand. After 30 minutes of the woman saying the food was with the driver I called back to find out where it was to no response yet again via the telephone.

Ordered a footlong and only received half the sandwich! Theyessed up some minor stuff before but this takes the mick. Expect a full refund and will not be ordering again.

Bread was chewy, there was so much sauce on the sandwich the inside was sopping wet. Definitely ruined the sandwich, both me and my mum could even eat half of a 6 inch because it was so soggy inside and chewy on the outside. Also cost me over £22 for 2 rubbish sandwiches, 2 crisp 3 cookies and drinks. I would have thought good value for money if the sandwiches was edible.
