Friendly staff and excellent quality food for very reasonable prices. The vegetarian and mushroom pizzas were top drawer.

I visited these tearooms with my daughters on Friday 24th May. I have been to other tea shops in Bakewell, but Toscas is by far the best. We had afternoon tea for three of us, we sat outside in the court yard. The afternoon tea arrived and there was lots of lovely cake and sandwiches, beautifully presented, and our host friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We really enjoyed our afternoon tea, very civilised, we will defiantly be visiting again. In fact we will have a day out to bakewell just to visit Toscas .

Ordered a takeaway after picking up a menu from the box outside the restaurant. Delivered within the time estimate by a friendly guy, we all really enjoyed the food. Would definitely use them again.

This is now called Jordan cafe. It's a great place. Very clean, friendly, reasonable prices and great coffee. If you've been staying away, go back - it's really good 👍👍👍

We called in today 7 of us without booking and were very surprised the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The manager I believe “Mary-Ann” was so helpful polite and attentive. Us being from a city are not used to being treated this way. The food was great especially the mixed grill. Food reasonably priced but drinks slightly overpriced but I suppose it’s because of the beautiful location. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again thankyou to all at the castle

Had dinner here which was very nice.

I visited the Bakewell pudding shop on Saturday. I ordered a pulled pork panini and it was delicious. The staff were very attentive, especially our server Hannah who made sure we good dining experience.

My wife and I stopped here for a late breakfast/early lunch during our third visit to Bakewell over the last few years. I had a breakfast and my wife had a Tuna Sandwich. The breakfast was as good as one could hope for, freshly cooked and quite a platefull. Tuna sandwich was delicious and very filling. Served with a pot of tea for two, all for under £20. The service was equally good and I would recommend this establishment to all.

A lovely café run by Nick, who gave us a lovely warm greeting and then set about delivering drinks and mince pies to the eight of us in an unflustered fashion. A lovely café stop.
