Just come once and try the food, such a delicious food i have tried in derby.

The best café in town plus it’s have the most friendliest staff you would ever counter in all of Derbyshire

well where shall I start got the drinks when we got in ordered starters the lady brought the knives and forks and chucked them on the table the starters were OK waited for the mains to arrive my aunty ordered scampy it was burnt so sent that back my husbands rock wasn't hot enough to cook anything on so sent that back and said don't want another one mine took that long to try and cook it so took it home sent the peppercorn sauce back it was freezing it never returned plus the mens toilets down stairs didn't have a tap so couldn't wash hands but it was also the disabled toilet and baby changing facility what load of rubbish so all in all what a crap experience we had you wasn't bothered you are charging good money for 1 star food

We had a terrible experience when visiting on Friday, I am allergic to strawberries and my husband asked the manager who was serving for the slice of cake without strawberries on due to the allergy and was completely ignored and given a slice with strawberries and was told by the manager “I’m sure you can pick it off yourself “ DISGUSTING attitude towards allergies !! Do not visit if you value your health, terrible attitude from a manager no less !!!

I'm currently having a drink in the Derbion BB's and am stunned that it isn't packed! It smells absolutely amazing, with all the fresh treats being baked, my GF blueberry muffin is so light, fluffy and still warm from the oven and my latte is so smooth and hot. The staff are welcoming and friendly, despite being busy baking and preparing. By far the best coffee shop in the Derbion 🥰

We have just visited Bear iron gate for brunch .Christmas Eve. My wife and I are regulars. Very regular in fact. My daughter and her partner were with us today. They live in oxford. They were very impressed with the atmosphere and the friendliness of all the staff who were there today. Better than anything they had experienced in Oxford. . Well done to all of the staff and Happy Christmas. Cameron and Ellie are fab

Delicious burger and wonderful view of the church

Always a great coffee with excellent service. Whilst it is more of a premium it is good quality coffee with a decent reward scheme. Food is fine but is more of a premium. Would be good if the reward scheme offered more in terms of food offers.

This café is situated on the ground floor of the museum. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It occupies a large pleasant space which is also a porcelain gallery. The coffee was good and the prices reasonable.

Kelley the manager at this store was absolutely incredible she was so helpful and polite. She deserves some amazing recognition and the food was also delicious. All of the staff at this shop make you feel so very welcome. I will definitely be returning. Salih

I’ve been coming to Bear for over 2 years as it’s one of the very few places in Derby to get good a good brunch. They’ve recently updated their menu to serve all day brunch which is exactly what the cafe needed - highly recommend their avo/pea smash, garlic or spicy eggs. They also serve up a good iced matcha.
