Thai Express (Derby) in Derby

I was a regular here and it's so sad to see the shop closed for so long really miss the food you guys make when you opening back up?

Love this place - the best place in intu in my opinion. Is it going to open again? It has been closed since the lockdown.

They use paper plates, which the food sticks to, and when I complained they just expect you to eat it! EDIT: I contacted the restaurant as per their reply, and heard NOTHING back - they clearly don't care about customers.

I am a regular here because I love the food. I’m addicted to their Pad Thai and Pad Sew! Plus Amy and the crew there give the best service. A fun lively eatery. I would eat here every day if I could. Generous portions and healthy too!

The food here is made in front of you to order. It is quick, fresh and delicious. Well worth it. I recommend the Tom Yum.

Amazing. It was half price when we went. The portion sizes were large and really nice staff. Amy served us and she was really good at her job! She needs a promotion!

I recommend this place if you want delicious Thai food in an affordable price. They offer different Thai food that is served in just few minutes. Staff are nice and food is great. It’s located in Intu Derby food court so it’s very convenient when you have a day out in Derby.

Very basic food. I had a pad thai, not enough flavour. Just tasted very basic and cheap. Could do with more lime and garlic

My visit to the Thai Express in Derby was delightful, I was served by a well mannered gentleman by the name of Paul who made me a very delicious dish. The Pad thai veg with prawns and with medium spice. I must say I will be back and hope that if I don't get the same gentleman that there is friendly staff just like him. Thanks Thai express and thanks again Mr. Paul for that oh so amazing meal.

I was on a day trip to Derby and I stopped off to eat at Thai Express. I had a lovely plate of Pad Thai chicken and Prawns done at a medium spice level, food was delicious and the portion size was good. It was cooked by Paul a lovely and funny guy who delivered great customer service. I will definately be back again.

We met a girl named Amy and we went as a group. Usually when we go out as a group people don't know how to handle us because we're so loud. But amy handled it well and seemed to have fun while doing it. I recommend people to go because the food is amazing and the customer service is even better

Delicious food! Tried General Thai and Pad Thai. Really good Thai Food.

Awful food at ridiculously high price. Screwed up my meal, put egg in after told them was allergic and then charged me extra "portion" for 3 more thin slivers of carrot and 4 pieces broccoli. WILL NOT GO BACK EVER.

Food is really good! Portion is big and tasty. Staff is always smiling and friendly. A bit confusion in the beginning for the menu but after the manager explaination it was very simple to choose the dish i wanted!

The curries from here are seriously worth a miss, smell and taste bad. Noodle dishes are worth it though and portion size are pretty generous

I had prawns with pad Thai noodles in a medium heat! It was delicious...will be going there again
