Had the best time here, it was our first time with our sons and let me tell you, food was excellent 👌🏽 Our host and server was Adel and he was super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed every aspect of the evening. We had the sharer for 4 and there was so much to eat it was great value for money and easy to please everyone as there was so much variety. We tried the Katmer dessert with vanilla ice cream and it was delightful 😊 Thankyou for a wonderful night. We look forward to returning.

Lamb chops were very tasty however the salad was tangy. I couldn't eat it. I've been there three or four times in the past year. Everytime it's perfect. Yesterday it was a little off.

This a great Turkish restaurant. We enjoyed a freshly cooked lamb shish meal that came with delicious homemade freshly baked bread and dips and tasty salad. Normally we don’t have a dessert but we were persuaded to have Katmer. I’m so glad we did it was lovely. The staff are lovely and friendly. What a great experience

Popped in at lunchtime as me and my lad love Turkish food... This was excellent. Calamari was superb as was my lamb swarma and his lamb ribs. To top it off we had to have baklava too...and yep that was also superb. Our waitress was helpful, friendly and wonderful. She served me copious amounts of the fantastic tea (just love Turkish tea) All in all a very pleasant lunch 👍 Thank you!

I placed a large order with this restaurant today, but unfortunately, they didn’t deliver everything I had paid for. When I called to address the issue, they insisted they sent the full order and even offered to send me a video of them packing it. Given the size of the order and the amount I paid, I was disappointed by this response. The customer service was extremely rude, especially with the chef’s dismissive comments in the background. When I suggested the driver may have taken the missing items, their response was that it was "not their problem." The attitude I received was completely unacceptable, and I am deeply frustrated with how the situation was handled.

We ordered food online. The lentil soup was the worst I ate in Derby, we got smaller portion of beyeti than normal and we got sausage on pizza which clearly stated in description that doesn’t have meat. They didn’t bring us new one or offered refund. Very high prices for that quality. Definitely will avoid this place. Istanbul on Normanton road close to lidl serves much better.

Popped in to derby city center on the 8th February, it was a miserable day weather wise, we found this gem of a place, really friendly and the food was the best I've tasted, I highly recommend the mix grill £22 but boy it was worth it! Also the pistachio coffee is a must for coffee lovers

Adil and aisha were amazing they ensured we was happy with the food and maintained excellent customer service. They even offered complimentary desert with our meal!!!

The best halloumi wrap I had in my life. It was authentic, flavorsome and served with style. Very friendly service and great atmosphere! I absolutely recommend to have your meal with a lovely Turkish tea. I even got a complimentary tea at the end of my meal, as the waiters just wanted to spread the St Valentine's vibe ❤️

I've walked past this restaurant several times, myself and my partner decided to try it as we love Turkish grills. The food was delicious we had the mixed grill platter for two served with rice and cous cous. The service was excellent by all staff. We will definetly be back!

My husband and I had a delicious meal last night, Sunday 9th Feb '25. The food is always good here. The service was exceptional last night. Our waiter was very attentive, helpful and very nicely dressed (I would describe as dapper). What a very pleasant end to our evening, having seen Macbeth as a National Theatre Live event at the Quad. We'll be back, as ever, thank you 😊

Overall, I am very disappointed with the food and the size of the portions, considering how expensive it is. Nice warm welcome from Adil in the shop. Parking is a 5-minute walk, but I need to pay £1.40 for 20 minutes as there isn't any parking outside the shop. The cold sides were lovely, but Hummus needed extra salt as it was pretty bland. Adana Kebab was nice, but the rice felt like it was from an Indian takeaway rather than Turkish, size of the dish was so small and for the price you have to pay its just not worth it. I requested extra bread, which I needed to pay for, I am sure the Normanton branch gives free bread, and the portions are much bigger. I won't be back in a hurry.

Maybe they serve better food in the restaurant. But we ordered via UberEats and it was shocking. Worse than cat food - my cat wouldn’t even eat it! Horrible food. Complained to Uber and managed to get a refund as they confirmed it was inedible. Full of fat and dry and the chicken Doner was raw with pink everywhere. Tasteless. Had to use ketchup with bits that were edible. Shocking. Avoid.

We ordered from Uber for home delivery and even though it was an 'in advance' order the food was delivered cold. The falafel was dry and tasteless. The mains, they were 'ok'. Maybe better if hotter but the chicken was supposed to be 8 X chunks, it was all broken up and dry. Lamb dish not as expected £50 takeaway...... Overpriced and not worth it. Won't bother again. Really disappointed

We arrived at around 7:45 and were seated straight away and had amazing service. We had a platter between the group and had plenty of food. Were very accommodating of wanting to take away leftovers and had nice facilities.

December 1st 2024 Absolutely beautiful experience, the food was top notch,and plentiful, the manager and the staff are so welcoming, The food we had was very authentic came out very hot and the portion size was huge, the team made a fuss of our mum who's birthday it was and all sang to her ,this was our first visit and I can promise we will be back again next month for more fun and food. Thank you to all the team for a wonderful experience we all loved it And can't wait to return.

Im a butcher after couple of visits to your place i became your regular customer anytime i come to derby because i know your meat is fresh and we are appreciating for your hard working and grate service we are not like those an idiot customers who always complain in their life's and always expecting to be worshipped by the owner and the staff well done guy keep doing what your just doing and forget about those they never appreciated anything in life,

I have placed order on Uber Eats have received cold food and portions that more suitable for a appetiser then a meal. I ordered Adana kebab with rice the meat was hard and cold overall was very small portion as for the price over £13 and chicken doner wrap which was cold and very less meat in it. With the Adana kebab I received very small portion of bread that was not fresh and very hard. All total costed over £22 but was not worth even half of it.
