The best restaurants in Daventry East Midlands

First visit , will definitely be back. We frequent a lot of local cafes and this has to be one of the best, it can be a bit noisy but that’s only because it’s really busy. Food and drink both good quality and the selection of cakes and pastries is better than anywhere that I can recall locally. A really great cafe.

Fantastic little tearoom, great choices and well presented, very friendly, prompt service as well. Definitely coming back.

Another good meal at our local restaurant. Took friends and they were more than happy with their meal and the help given. Never disappoints.

Incredibly slow service. 45 minutes to get a starter which was cooked pizza dough with baby plum tomatoes on top and unwashed greens, followed by a pizza arriving another 45 minutes later. We had to ask waiter to cancel dessert as we simply couldn’t wait another 45 minutes. Very strange as restaurant only had 8 customers at a time.

Last night I collected a cod, mini fish and large chips from The Big Fryer. As always the customer service was excellent and the fish was cooked to order. We live a 12 minute drive away, so popped the fish and chips in the oven on a tray, just for a couple of minutes when we got home. The fish and chips were absolutely delicious. The batter was light and crisp and the fish firm and flaky. The chips were also extremely good. All in all - 100%! Thank you!

Terrible order from this restaurant as a takeaway to be delivered showed up very late and freezing cold don’t order from here they are terrible plus when you try to to chase up your order with the restaurant, they don’t answer the phone I rang 18 times and they still didn’t pick up the phone

Lovely quaint country pub. Made very welcome. Cheeseboard was a great choice for a hot day! We would definitely recommend and return again!

The food itself was good, they got my order a tiny bit wrong (i ordered a hamburger with just tomato sauce and they put cheese on it) and their delivery person didn't follow delivery instructions (i asked them to use the back door). Still though their burger was much better then what i've eaten from millennium and was much cheaper as well.

Nice pub in lovely village setting by Pitsford Res. Food great and staff were lovely.

We had the barn for a 90th birthday celebration. There was 17 of us, we pre ordered food. Service and food very good. Would highly recommend, we had a fabulous afternoon!

Paulo, the Site Manager, at Watford Gap is extremely attentive, understanding, gracious and kind. This reflects the customer service we received when ordering our drinks at the drive through. The lady that served us was both efficient and knowledgeable. Thank you to all the team.
