Lovely quaint country pub. Made very welcome. Cheeseboard was a great choice for a hot day! We would definitely recommend and return again!

We stopped here for a drink and then had lunch. The pub itself is charming, very pretty both outside and inside. Everyone we spoke to was pleasant and our lunch was a delicious sharing platter of cheese and charcuterie. We ended up spending quite a lot there because as well as lunch, we also bought some of the very tempting local cheese and meats they sell to take away. So, it did our lunch the next day too. Very nice, homely pub. I think they only do food at the weekends so we were lucky that we dropped in then but I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area.

We were on holiday for a few days and this was the closest pub. We had 1 drink and left. Service was rubbish, considering it’s a very small pub and probably only ever locals who drink there. The sign said ‘unique garden’ however I did not expect that garden. It’s something I’ve never seen before. Quite impressive but spooky in my opinion! 1 Coca Cola & 1 small glass of house white was £8 something. They only serve food at weekends.

The real ales are well-kept and there is always a real cider direct from the barrel available. The pub has an affable and entrepreneurial landlord who regularly hosts food nights. He also emails a highly readable weekly newsletter with details of forthcoming events at the pub as well as providing eloquent descriptive commentary on the changing natural world around the village. Aside from the saloon bar there is a games room. The bar staff are friendly, considerate and highly competent. The locally sourced food is avidly devoured by diners. The Kings Arms is a real gem in the heart of the community.

Very limited menu choice although, very tasty BUT overpriced ,served in a very cramped bar area full of locals and dogs some sniffing around my feet looking for crumbs while im eating !.....Friendly enough and quirky but seemed geared up for local vilagers not really suitable for "good home made food" as advertised also only 2 choices of hot food and 3 platters along with sausage rolls and pasties etc unsure if they had any desserts, disappointed and over £50 plus spent for basically bar snacks we shall not return soon !

Visited The Kings Arms 3 evenings running over the Easter weekend. Very congenital host. Locals very friendly. They do meals at the weekend and local pies and cheese platters etc through the week. Check opening times before you visit. Would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful birthday lunch today, the cauliflower pakora starter was a delicious light starter, loved the minty dip, my partner had the roast beef which was outstanding, I tried the pork cheeks with the saffron risotto which was absolutely amazing, finished off with yummy cookie lava dessert & a lovely surprise Swiss roll to celebrate my birthday!, Thanks to the gorgeous Isabel & Gemma for looking after us!
