Located in the centre of the Peak District the hotel provided excellent access to all the park has to offer. Personalised parking is provided and excellent communication from the hotel made finding the hotel easy. Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom with all the ‘extras’ included. The bed was very cosy and had we no trouble sleeping. The restaurant too was first class. Breakfasts were both plentiful and very well cooked and presented. Evening dinner was similarly excellent. This is not a cheap hotel, however you get what you pay for and we were very satisfied. The staff here were lovely and very helpful in all ways. We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights here and could not think of anything to have improved our stay.

10 years ago, I tried Crafty for the first time when they first opened as pop-up and was blown away by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service. I was a regular guest for the following 2 1/2 years before moving to Canada. Tonight, after coming back to Leicester for the first time in over 7 years, I returned to Crafty and was overjoyed to find that things have only gotten better. There are a lot of restaurants that boldly say they have the best burgers in the world, and they don't; Crafty don't say it, but they do. Any burger place on the planet is welcome to try and prove that statement to be incorrect; they will struggle.

Another amazing meal at one of our Favourite pubs. We visit Langham once a year and always make a reservation for the Wheatsheaf. The staff are always really pleasant and make you feel welcome. The food choice is fantastic and has something for everyone. My mother in law is gluten free and had a variety of meals to choose from. The service is prompt and the food is served to perfection. Will definitely recommend this place and will be going back. Only one recommendation I would have is that they do a small plate option. My parents in law struggle to eat big meals and I feel they would have been better with smaller portions. They enjoyed the food but hated wasting some of it. Just wished we lived closer so we could visit more often.

A family reunion, 8 in the party, + 1 dog. A very welcoming pub near Grantham. Recommended by one of the party. We were seated at a large table in the main bar area, and there were other small rooms for dining. A good choice of meals on the menu, but no snacks/sandwiches. A good selection of gluten-free meals. All within a range of prices. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was very good, as was the food. We had a selection of meals, and all were enjoyed. There was ample parking and access for wheelchairs to our dining area. I'm not sure about the other areas. As stated, a dog friendly pub.

Honestly, I went here ready to love the restaurant, but feel maybe it's taking things a little bit for granted. Had multiple dishes. Fussiloni. Wow well I am guessing boiled mince, but not an expert about why meat tasted the way it did, but I associated meat with mass produced methods of canteen food. Specials pasta was alright, think if not pasta itself being Al dente would definitely say most of people can prepare the dish at home without much effort. Wagyu whilst granted I never ate wagyu before was rubbery. Maybe that's how it suppose to be but I really had a bite and didn't want more. Tiramisu was Limoncello based , soft. Personally didn't like it, but I can see other people enjoying it. Overall during meal I was questioning my meat eating morals :D. Service was lovely. Decor was nice. Prices were high
