Birthday meal. Table booked 7:30 for 8pm. We placed our order and asked repeatedly about our starters, which they kept apologising and saying they were extremely busy. Starters arrived at just after 9 and mains after 10. Starters were spicy hot and plentiful. Mains, I ate roughly a quarter of my meal as it was miles too late to enjoy it. I won't be coming back.

Such a lovely experience. Great staff, amazing deal with starter, main, naan and coffee for £15. Great way to have some good food and a drink with mates for a good price. Better than spoons and amazing service....food was top tier, enough to take home for tomorrow !

Went here for the first time last night after walking past it many times and really pleased we did! There are a lot of options on the menu and we asked the waiter to recommend some favourites, and I went with the Chicken Chat to start and then the Lamb Karahi - both were delicious. Naan was excellent too and there are varieties of rice. Service is really good - attentive and polite. The overall price for the meal (including 2 pints and prosecco) was very reasonable as well. Close to Vic Centre in the city centre so easy to reach via public transport or with a car. Will be going there again!

We had a lovely meal at Noor Jahan. We chose to have the set meal for 1 and it was an absolute bargain. The tandoori chicken was really tasty. Great service too. Can't wait to go again!

We visited on Saturday evening without booking. Thankfully we were accommodated and the food was fantastic as usual. A teenager even said the rice was banging.... Fantastic service and such a welcoming feel to the entire evening.

If you’re visiting Nottingham, make a booking for this very popular Bengali restaurant. We were lucky they squeezed us in! The food is fresh and full of flavour. Came here in a group of 9 for my sons 13th birthday, and it didn't disappoint, the food was absolutely superb, and the service was first class, we are already planning our next visit,

I purchased the set meal for 1. The atmosphere was a bit quiet because I visited the restaurant late, however, the presentation and layout of the establishment was perfect. Very professional but also welcoming. The waiting staff welcomed me into the store and made me feel comfortable. The food was also a very good quality and was in great portion sizes. Noor Jahan special kebab - 8/10 Chicken korma and rice - 9/10 Peshawari naan - 7/10 Overall - 8/10

Our favourite Indian in Nottingham (if not the UK!) the only place we ate during Covid times and our go to for a meal out! Always recommend it to friends and family. The set menu is great value, affordable and generous portions

This is the restaurant where I had my first ever curry in 1971 and it is still run by the same family. It doesn’t try to be “new wave “ just excellent food at very reasonable prices

This restaurant is located close to the center. Very friendly and hospitable staff. We opted for a menu. We had a delicious meal for a reasonable price. The menu included a starter and main course, naan and rice. Our hotel host recommended we try a keema Nan (with meat). New for us but a very good tip. And I also opted for the always delicious Peswhari naan. And with our dinner we had an affordable but tasty bottle of wine. All in all enjoyed it and definitely recommended in Nottingham.

Dicht bij het centrum ligt dit restaurant. Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel. We hebben gekozen voor een menu. Voor een redelijke prijs hebben we heerlijk gegeten. Het menu was inclusief een voor- en hoofdgerecht, Naan en rijst. Onze host van het hotel had aangeraden om eens een keema Nan te proberen (met vlees). Voor ons nieuw maar een zeer goede tip. En zelf ook nog gekozen voor de altijd lekkere Peswhari naan. En bij ons diner hebben we een betaalbare maar lekkere fles wijn genomen. Al met al genoten en zeker een aanrader in Nottingham.

Best Indian food I’ve ever tasted, been coming here since I was a kid.

My first visit and it won’t be the last. I throughly enjoyed every mouthful of my meal. The lamb was very tender with great flavors. I’ve been to many Bangladeshi restaurants and this one was one of the best I’ve been to. Service by all staff is great. Ehsan recommended some fantastic dishes I will come with my friends next time !! Thank you guys Give this place a try !

I've come from Australia back to my hometown and was looking forward to a decent English curry, I was recommended this place by a mate and it did not dissapoint. I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday evening for the third time. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by pleasant staff and showed to my table. I ordered a drink and food at the same time. Fantastic food and great selection of choices. Authentic Bangladeshi food. I can't rate this restaurant higher! Give it a try I ordered the hot meat, chicken tikka bahar with a noor jahan special nan. Wow what a meal! The special nan complimented the curry perfectly. All for £14.95!? Ehsan is a great person he is very friendly and welcoming to all his guests. I'll be back !!

Great service but the curry was the worst I have ever had. The Naan breads were all dry, the exact same shape and looked like the ones you get from Tesco. Would not recommend at all, waste of money.

Food was bland building smells damp

I ordered poppadom as starter, I seen the staff is filling the plate with leftover chutney’s (one who ate before and left) then I discontinued dining at the restaurant. It’s not fair that we are spending much money and u guys are filling the leftover chutney !? Is this the way to treat the costumers !? Why the food rating given 4/5 ?

Disgusting, while we was waiting for our bill we have seen one of the staff keeps picking his nose and pouring drinks in the glass imagine whats happening in the kitchen!

Had a fantastic experience here with great food, and great service! Poppadoms came with top quality sauces, curry was well made too. If you get their anytime meal deal you can get so much (starter , main, pilao rice, and a coffee+mint) for a bargain. Would definitely recommend! Great for large groups too! We were 20 folk and they prepared well! Portion sizes were also sizeable!

AAA rated cousins, absolutely marvellous, can’t speak highly enough of the taste of the food and service. That said the place it self is very old you step in and feel like stepped into a set of fools and horses, just old could do with an upgrade, however food and service is spot on !!!

Went to this restaurant last night with my friend, we had the set meal for 1 and chose the super tasty noor special nan, the food was extremely good, and a very good quantity of food for the set meal, and very good price. I was amazed how much food there was. The service was excellent and very friendly. The gentleman suggested some special dishes and they were absolutely fantastic! I would highly recommend and if I’m in the area I would certainly go again. Well done Noor Jahan, very good service and food.

We had booked 2 places to eat in advance over our weekend away after a utterly disappointing experience the evening prior elsewhere we was nervous about our next choice purely due to the previous nights letdown. We are so glad we stuck to our booking we were a family of 4 and from the moment we walked in to the moment we left the staff catered for us to a level up there with the best we have recieved in a restaurant. Staff clean and well uniformed. Efficient service without been rushed. Kingfisher on draught is a real bonus please never just serve bottles :). Poppadoms warm, pickle tray beatiful and plenty to feed 4. Starter lovely and the waiter serves it from a hot skillet to your plate a lovely touch. Mains were beautiful and it's nice to have a vindaloo that is actually a vindaloo and numbed my tongue. The only critique which is not a negative a personal choice I would like less fresh chopped garlic on my nan bread there was too much on there :). Prices are great, It was as I say from start to finish a great experience would highly recommend and will be back. Thankyou for great food and a great end to our stay in Nottingham.

I loved the any starter, any main, naan and Pilau rice combo for around £15. Everything we ordered were very tasty and felt very authentic. It’s an amazing place to come to with friends or family and not spend too much.
