Very polite service, the guys went through the menu with me and my son, i try new dishes very tasty, they even exchanged one for me. The service was excellent. We be back again.

All around amazing experience staff was great and food was superb nice hot and fresh with plenty of taste would highly recommend 👍🏻

This is my favourite curry house in notts, I'd call it a traditional curry house, the decor you expect, the music you expect, and a fish tank in the dining area. Staff are very polite and the service is brilliant, the food is also brilliant and if you have the set meal for £18.95 it's excellent value! A starter, any curry a naan or side dish and pilau rice with coffee after, for£18.95! It beats any of the ones on maid marians way in my opinion, keep up the good work folks👍

Website and store front advertising opening hours till 11.30pm. Arrived at 22.50 told they were closed when we walked in! Spent £8 on a taxi to get there, what a waste of money and time !!

Booked a table only to be told on arrival that there was no table for 2 people and that they could fit us on the end of a party of 12 people that we did not know. Very arrogant staff and we left very disappointed. We will not return

First class service and food. We took a party of 10 for a staff night out on 5.2.25 and we had a fantastic evening. The service was impeccable nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious. A brilliant set menu with great value for price. Lovely evening had by all thanks very much. Would definitely recommend 10/10 We booked via Phonecall and the manager sent us the menu via WhatsApp they took out order ahead of time so on arrival the delivery of our food was prompt and the evening flowed. We will be back again in the future.

I went with my mum and we had a wonderful time. There was more than enough delicious food for an amazing price. The service was fantastic and we were shown kindness and attention throughout our dinner. Lovely place and people, thank you so much.

Visited this restaurant many times over the last few years and the quality of the food is of such a high standard and the price is very reasonable love the moor jahn Balti hopefully we will visit for many more years

Ate here for the first time after being recommended by others. I had the set meal for £14.95 and had what they recommended. I would normally order poppadoms with pickle tray, lamb tikka masala madras hot with pilau rice and peshwari naan. This time I had the hot meat starter, a spicy hot chicken mince with chicken pieces main, egg fried rice and their traditional naan. It is not something I would have normally of ordered but I enjoyed it. I rate the starter 5* this was very tasty and i would order it again. I rate the main curry dish 4* it was tasty although I did not like having mince meat in an curry and prefer solid meat. I also would have preferred a bit more curry sauce to dip my naan in. I rate the naan 4* it was very tasty with all the spices the only downside is that the metal tray it is served on causes the naan to become a bit wet and soggy because the naan is hot. I would have also of liked my naan to be a little more crispy. I rate the egg fried rice as a 3* this is because It felt quite heavy in texture instead of light and I would not normally eat this with an indian curry. I also had a coffee i rate this 4* it was nice and strong, with fresh cream. Overall I rate this restaurant 4* out of 5, the customer service is great they make you feel very welcome and the prices are very reasonable. In the future I will have to try my traditional indian order and leave another review.

Never ever disappointed with this restaurant, it’s always a wonderful experience. We visited for my fiancées birthday and, as always, we had such a delicious meal. Everything was cooked to perfection, mouthwatering , tasty and full of flavour. Amazing staff, very friendly, helpful and appeared to be happy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The best Indian I’ve ever tasted, authentic quality and full of flavours. So glad my friend recommended that I try this place. It will definitely be my go to Indian takeaway now.

Very impressed. I came on my own on a whim. The restaurant had booths which gave me adequate privacy whilst also being within view of the waiters. After speaking to the waiter i was able to have a dish custom made to my taste which was greatly appreciated. I felt that they want to extra mile to try and give good service and the food definitely delivered. Also the the set menu for 1 was great value for money.

Went here on Saturday night for the first time recommended by a friend from work martin food and staff great so welcoming couldn't fault the place at all couldn't believe how much for a pint of kingfisher £4.50 so cheap will definitely be going back again very soon nothing is to much trouble for them greeted with a smile thankyou so much see you soon

Very accommodating (they opened a bit early for us). Very good food, all our dishes were tasty and well prepared. Obviously, and deservedly, a popular place and many of the clientele were greeted by name. It is not flashy, but good value for money and I can see why it has become a regular haunt for many people.

Forgot about our booking, forgot our orders twice, left us without any mains for an hour and a half, and Vikki (the one with the hair) said that they were glad that my hamster had Cushing's disease.

This has been a stupendous dining experience, the food was marvellous and the service was magnificent. the authentic food really made the whole experience so much more magical. i will definitely be making this a weekly tradition with the in-laws.

To begin, I was taken aback by the stunning view and prospect of a curry, and had to indulge. I was brimming with excitement at my ordered chicken jalfresi, and happily Indulged. The chicken was succulent, possessing all the flavours expected of such delightful Asian cuisine. As ghandi once said “a curry paired with a pint of kingfisher helped me bring world piece” and I do have to wholeheartedly agree

On this day I stumbled across a little restaurant to what I saw to be a great cuisine of mastery and fortune. I felt the atmosphere through the doors which gave me a warm feeling I have never felt before . I thought the service was unreal with popadoms being dished out with elegance and brightness where nor did it crunch but nor did it chew. It just melted like a fine dine would do. Throughout the meal the ambients of the room was optimal frequency allowing me to discuss with my fellow chums and start endeavouring the fine meals which were put together. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is stumbling on a great cuisine as this place is too teir and needs to be known !👍

Our experience at Noor Jahan was fantastic... from the warm welcome to the delicious dishes, which were recommended by our host Ehsan! I went on to booking a large table for an upcoming celebration... sure my guests will not be disappointed!

I went there last night with my boyfriend Pete for a romantic meal. The food was unreal. We both had lamb madras, mine had some extra spicy chillies in. Both were amazing. I would recommend highly.

The restaurant is nothing fancy but the food, service, atmosphere and value for money more than makes up for it. We were a party of 14 and Ehsan organised everything before we even arrived at the restaurant, even allowing us to pre-order our meal days beforehand if we so wished. A big thank you to Ehsan and the staff at Noor Jahan for making our evening truly enjoyable.

Birthday meal. Table booked 7:30 for 8pm. We placed our order and asked repeatedly about our starters, which they kept apologising and saying they were extremely busy. Starters arrived at just after 9 and mains after 10. Starters were spicy hot and plentiful. Mains, I ate roughly a quarter of my meal as it was miles too late to enjoy it. I won't be coming back.

Such a lovely experience. Great staff, amazing deal with starter, main, naan and coffee for £15. Great way to have some good food and a drink with mates for a good price. Better than spoons and amazing service....food was top tier, enough to take home for tomorrow !

Went here for the first time last night after walking past it many times and really pleased we did! There are a lot of options on the menu and we asked the waiter to recommend some favourites, and I went with the Chicken Chat to start and then the Lamb Karahi - both were delicious. Naan was excellent too and there are varieties of rice. Service is really good - attentive and polite. The overall price for the meal (including 2 pints and prosecco) was very reasonable as well. Close to Vic Centre in the city centre so easy to reach via public transport or with a car. Will be going there again!

We visited on Saturday evening without booking. Thankfully we were accommodated and the food was fantastic as usual. A teenager even said the rice was banging.... Fantastic service and such a welcoming feel to the entire evening.

If you’re visiting Nottingham, make a booking for this very popular Bengali restaurant. We were lucky they squeezed us in! The food is fresh and full of flavour. Came here in a group of 9 for my sons 13th birthday, and it didn't disappoint, the food was absolutely superb, and the service was first class, we are already planning our next visit,

I purchased the set meal for 1. The atmosphere was a bit quiet because I visited the restaurant late, however, the presentation and layout of the establishment was perfect. Very professional but also welcoming. The waiting staff welcomed me into the store and made me feel comfortable. The food was also a very good quality and was in great portion sizes. Noor Jahan special kebab - 8/10 Chicken korma and rice - 9/10 Peshawari naan - 7/10 Overall - 8/10

Our favourite Indian in Nottingham (if not the UK!) the only place we ate during Covid times and our go to for a meal out! Always recommend it to friends and family. The set menu is great value, affordable and generous portions
