I asked for some extra chilli jam for the toastie, but was only told on leaving the building it would be an additional £1.20, which was a bit annoying!

Best sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. I dont review often but this ‼️So worth it. Its a hidden treasure. Highly recommend.

10 years ago, I tried Crafty for the first time when they first opened as pop-up and was blown away by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service. I was a regular guest for the following 2 1/2 years before moving to Canada. Tonight, after coming back to Leicester for the first time in over 7 years, I returned to Crafty and was overjoyed to find that things have only gotten better. There are a lot of restaurants that boldly say they have the best burgers in the world, and they don't; Crafty don't say it, but they do. Any burger place on the planet is welcome to try and prove that statement to be incorrect; they will struggle.

Great experience. AGAIN. Great food. AGAIN. My recommended choices are the following, garlic parm pimped fries, krispie klucker burger (fried chicken AND double cheese) and as a drink the watermelon cooler is a great treat. No complaints. 10/10 absolutely perfect.

Really nice food and a lovely setting but not being informed wings were off the menu and having to ask for one of our drinks, cutlery and napkins multiple times just isn’t acceptable.

I came in last week met the owner who is absolutely delightful because of her service. I decided to come back initially just to have a coffee. I’ve been waiting half an hour appreciating that they were busy but the gentleman that stood behind not only got his coffee first, but also his whole meal I’m very upset and not happy at all. when I approached the staff, they came back with an attitude hand on hip really don’t appreciate it justine

Absolutely love this place, the food is amazing, and they cater wonderfully to those with dietary restrictions—I always feel safe with my gluten allergy. The service is great, especially Andrea, who is incredibly accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

Went here for dinner with my family and we all said how good it was, burgers are bang on, chips and sides are amazing. The staff were fantastic, definitely recommend.

Finally found a 10/10 burger in Leicester! Obviously freshly made and cooked to perfection. Chocolate milkshake was to die for, also the best we've had in years. Can't wait to return!

The seating area was nice and lively,service was great and lovely. The loaded fries were so delicious but southern breaded cauliflower was not my taste. I will come back soon again 😍

We decided to try this place after seeing good reviews about it on social media. we ate off the brunch menu. The staff were friendly, and the food was impressive... especially the XL Burger. The prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The menu offered a wide variety, ensuring there was something for everyone. I would definitely visit again when back in Leicester.

have been several times over the years, always a great experience, highly recommended for a great burger and fries experience as a date night or with freinds and family - they also do hard shakes and usually have some unique specials!

Becky and Betty, the B team…more like the A Team!!! Service was incredible and the food was delicious. Will definitely return. Waitresses were so lovely and made us feel so welcome even though we came in later on in the evening. Couldn’t recommend enough ❤️

In the heart of Leicester, a burger joint with extremely friendly staff and a beautiful space. There are also vegetarian options (quite a few, in fact), while you can choose to have the fries that accompany the burger have a topping. I chose a burger with mushrooms and fries with red sauce and blue cheese. Personally, I would have preferred that they didn't have the red sauce and that the blue cheese sauce had a stronger blue cheese flavor, since I prefer it quite strong. The staff of the shop really took care of us and took special care of our friend who had a birthday and surprised her with her cake.

Crafty is a regular for us, we found this little gem a few years ago and have never regretted it. It's my go to for a decent burger, there is always a fantastic atmosphere, staff are polite and friendly. We have to limit visits Me and the Hubby would be huge I'd we went every time we wanted too 🤣

Never disappoints, the loaded fries are always amazing, whatever flavour this particular time for my drink I had a watermelon cooler; 11/10 also once got free food The best!

The burgers were really tasty and substantial. I would definitely recommend. The only criticism I have is that the size of plates given are really not big enough to eat comfortably. Definitely needed a wider dinner plate for the burger and a wider saucer for the fries. So eating our meal was a bit cumbersome.

Brilliant place! Service and food was just awesome. Special shout out to our waiter (had a beard) proper lovely guy who couldn't do more to help us out as we had our two friends and 2year old with us. We will certainly be back :) thank you

Another place ticked off the list✅ We have been dying to visit Crafty Burger for so long but every time we have a booking, one of us is ill🫠 Finally, we were able to visit (in full health) and it did not disappoint! What we ordered: • Crafty Poet (£15.50) ❤️ • Farmyard Jam (£15.50) ❤️ I have not had a burger this yummy since I visited London! The bacon was cooked to a perfection. The meat used for the burger was of such a high quality. And the crispy onions? Oh my goodness I have never eaten anything like it before. Overall, a triumph🏆. I will be honest, I didn’t manage to eat it all but I just tend to find that all burgers become too sickly for me with the last few bites. Nothing to worry about though when you have a partner that will eat what you’ve left💪🏼. We both had a lager with our meals (Corona for me and Mahou for him). I was contemplating getting a peach iced tea and after seeing another person have one, I decided to order one of after the meal - it was so refreshing! Whilst we were waiting, we had a look at their brunch menu for @stmartinscoffeeshop and we are definitely going to be coming back soon for that (and a peach iced tea🧡). Also, we had a lovely view of @tonnebar from our table and it really highlights just how lucky we are to have all of these independent businesses in St Martin’s Square❤️.

I have been hankering for a burger for 3 weeks and I was not disappointed. While I wasn't given the option of how I wanted my burger cooking and it arrived medium and therefore cooler than I normally would have it, I wasn't phased. Fries to die for all washed down with shake. My cravings were satisfied. Thank you.

Been wanting to try this place for years and finally made it today. It definitely deserves the title “best burger in Leicester” that I kept hearing from friends who come here It’s also up there in the top 5 burgers I’ve probably eaten in my life The chips were the best I’ve had too

We visit regularly (very regularly) - an absolute favourite in the City. Fresh, tasty and an evolving menu keep things interesting - you can even get Crafty burgers on the coffee shop menu now! Did someone say Crafty Poet at 9:30am?! Absolutely WILD! Prices have remained about the same despite covid, inflation, etc, providing really good value for money! Lost count on the number of visits, but we’ve never had a bad experience! Staff are always friendly, efficient and professional staff, even when it’s super busy!

As a large party, the websites states you need to contact Andrea for any number over 8, which we had 12. I sent an email over a week ahead of my booking and never got a response. If I hadn’t went online and booked two separate seats for 6, we would not have been able to make reservations. The food was phenomenal as always, just had a hard time booking.

Firstly I’m not affiliated with this place in anyway so I’m not crawling up anyone’s arse or leaving fake reviews! 😂 much to the hilarity of my girlfriend and kids I don’t like going anywhere else but here 😂 the did a full English a while ago which was fantastic sadly that’s gone but in its place are an array of fantastic dishes. And everytime I have the same 3 x things and when I’ve deviated from them I’ve tried the burgers and they are next level, I usually go Saturday mid morning so I’ve really not got the appetite for one at that time. I’d go as far as to say this place could charge more but I’m glad they don’t (I’d still pay it though ) the vanilla milkshake is the best I’ve ever tasted. As much as I detest driving in to town and parking up I’d do it to go here👌

a great place to stay,having the best beef burger.Much better than five guys. The beef tastes not coppery smell at all, and you can choose the doneness of the patty. And the lettuce inside super fresh. Additionally,people are friendly.

Edit to respond to owner: Yeah ok great, go buy some chairs. The outdoor seating has better benches than the one indoors. “Ludicrous” is apt. Og review: Expensive (but tasty and well made) burgers and terrible, inaccessible seating. The only 6-person table they have has uncomfortable narrow benches. 2 members of our party cannot sit at a bench due to physical restrictions. We weren’t informed of this when booking. No alternative was offered when we asked. The other tables have a ridiculous mishmash of armchairs and dining chairs. Ludicrous, and malicious against people with accessibility needs. Avoid.

I spent a lovely couple of hours at Crafty, with a late lunch of korean fries and chicken bites. The combination of the two was fantastic, but I thought the BBQ sauce paired with the chicken was a little intense. I also had a lychee iced tea. The flavouring sank to the bottom a little, so make sure to stir well! Finished up with a banana milkshake with a cheeky shot of rum in it. Absolutely lush! The music playing was lovely, the temperature was nice and warm but not too hot. A jumper may still be a good idea. Overall, a lovely cafe!

We fancied burgers for our pre-match meal and we read reviews of this place so decided to give it a go. Soooo glad we did. It was a fabulous visit on a Saturday lunchtime. We were confused when we got there as it is 'just' a coffee shop so we thought we were in the wrong place. We were not. Great ambience, quirky décor, efficient service and the best burgers we have had in a long time. Although a more limited choice at lunchtime, they were amazing. We had the Crafty Cheese and Crafty Poet and they were cooked to perfection with all the usual burger trimmings. Even the fries were delicious and plentiful. A great mix of couples, families, friends, young and old. There were people waiting to get a table when we left so it's definitely a busy spot. Will definitely be returning.

Nice food but let down massively by the service, waitress was rude and continued to speak about me and my partner to her colleague unaware we can hear and see her. Loved coming here before this experience will not be returning

Yum! This is one of my favourite eateries in Leicester. For dinner, they focus on burgers and loaded fries, so don't come here if you don't like burgers. But if you do like burgers, then these are among the best burgers in Leicester. They also do a great range of vegetarian burgers which I love. The selection of alcoholic drinks is decent, and they're selection of non-alcoholic drinks is much better than average. The staff are great too, though the place can get very busy at peak times. Seats outside in the lovely St Martin's square are available when weather permits

Rushed in out of the rain shown to table upstairs. I ordered ham egg and chips what arrived was a belly pork strip over cooked and tough egg hard over cooked food arrived then had to ask for cutlery took time to arrive. Very disappointing all round.

More spacious inside than we thought. Staff very friendly and helpful. Service was good for busy Friday evening. Burgers were amazing and loaded chilli fries the same. Only issue which they quickly corrected was that a friend was given a pork dish when they are vegetarian. Removed from the bill. Decent cocktails as well.

Amazing burghers and chips fully loaded

Yet again absolutely fantastic! The best burgers in Leicester without question, flavoursome juicy and fresh. The loaded fries are still phenomenal and the wings are just incredible. The vibe is so warm and relaxed, the staff are super friendly and so attentive.Plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs, lovely to see the kitchen and the chefs so focused and cooking up an absolute storm. If you haven't been yet then you absolutely must! It's just fantastic.

Went in for a coffee so I could work but ended up staying for lunch. Lady I spoke to (assume owner or manger) was super friendly. Coffee was great and the burger was delicious. Only minor criticism was the person who dropped my food to the table didn’t offer me any salt/sauces or ask if I wanted another drink but I’m being ultra critical here. Will visit again

Managed to get a table for us at the last minute, emailed (the website showed as full) and got a table. The welcome was great, one of our party has food allergies, and they took time to understand and assured us they didn’t have any (of the allergens) in the kitchen. Service was really friendly, and the burgers were great! Wonderfully flavoured, and came out the kitchen quickly and hot! (And pink as I like it, but other ordered well done and they were). We ordered two children’s burgers a a these were also great, not small with plenty of fries! Overall a great experience!

Very Good quality food. The Burger was great but maybe too Salty. I think its cause of Bacon. The chilli chips were amazing. Just the place needs a bit redresh. Our table wasnt Nice we asked for exchange but it was busy night and I dont blame them for that. Music was bit too loud.

I am a regular crafty burger patron and despite rating a 2/5 I’d recommend anyone to go, their burgers are without doubt the best in Leicester. However today I tried their ‘Hot Blue Fries’, they were awful and essentially inedible. They were salty beyond belief and soaking in franks red hot. Assault on my taste buds. The burger was thrown together hap-hazardly and a (tasty) mess, a real shame more care wasn’t given. As mentioned please do try this burger place if you haven’t, just a very bad experience and I’m now left with that horrible feeling of money wasted. Hoping for a return to normality.

Popped in for coffee ended up having lunch, the coffees amazing and the food very good, service is excellent but not intrusive would recommend here to anyone looking for a quick lunch

今次我們也是來吃午餐, 客人不算多 餐廳有兩層, 也有戶外座位, 座位很多, 佈置簡約舒適, 也很寬敞, 地方整潔, 服務員殷勤友善 食物方面, 款式選擇也算多的, 飲料方面的選擇也很多 我點了豬扒和煙肉熟成牛肉漢堡, 茶和拿鐵 豬扒雖然比較乾, 味道不錯, 雞蛋好吃, 炸薯餅鬆脆可口 熟成牛肉漢沒想象中的好, 只是一般, 炸薯條十分好吃, 外面鬆脆裏面軟. 茶的味道一般, 咖啡不錯 價格方面, 可算是中等, 大部份的食品在£10或以上, 相對食物質素和環境來說, 也是合理, 所以, 這次也是我的第二次光顧.
