The best restaurants in England

I’ve been before and was expecting good. I got what I expected. A thoroughly pleasant experience with a really lovely waitress. Very good service in a really nice country retreat. Impossible to fault.

This is such a beautiful bar however the experience was utterly disappointing. I entered the bar, three members of staff walked past me and not one acknowledged me and said hello. I eventually got the bar tender’s attention and he told me to grab a table and it’s table service After ten minutes no one had acknowledged me any further, so I went to the bar and ordered a glass of wine. The wine was fine After about 30 minutes I’d finished my wine. Nobody be came to take a subsequent order. After another 40 minutes I gave up. I went to the bar and paid, again, despite trying to mention the issue with the table service the bar tender just said “those guys are responsible for table service”. No apology. Not even a thank you etc.

Got takeaway - ready quick and amazing Pizza

Kebab is banging had pizza twice from there in past 2months thought I would give it another go. Looked as appetising as a tesco 59p one. Well undercooked was going to take it back but my oven was closer. Tasted great cooked. I'll stick with the kebabs

Extremely Disappointed – Terrible Customer Service Placed an online delivery order and was shocked by the experience. Ordered nachos from the menu, which clearly says it comes with salsa sauce. What I got? Just nachos and cheese – no salsa in sight. When I called to complain, there wasn’t even a hint of an apology. The person on the phone casually told me that they only include salsa if you request it. Seriously? How is a customer supposed to know that when the menu clearly states it comes with salsa? Worse, his tone made it sound like he was doing me a favor just by listening. All he said was “complain to head office” – no ownership, no respect, just dismissive and rude. I’ve been a regular customer for a long time, but after this joke of a response, never again. They clearly don’t value their customers at all. Total disappointment.

I have been having burgers from here for a very long time. Always lovely. Not last night. Awful, chewy & just unpleasant. I had horrendous heartburn followed by being violently sick. Never again.

A tortilla is not a nan bread very poor food

El viernes 22 de noviembre alrededor del 22. 55 Un miembro muy amable del equipo , joven con excelentes habilidades de servicio al cliente, me reemplazó el té porque era un momento muy ocupado en el restaurante y debido a los pedidos que tardaban más en recogerse mi té se había enfriado un poco Me di cuenta de que era extremadamente agradable amable y disculparse con una sonrisa cálida hacia todos los clientes a pesar de lo estresante que fue para él en este período excepcionalmente ocupado. Creo que este joven merece un ascenso, sería un excelente gerente.

Espantoso. Pedí un jugo de manzana para niños entre nuestro pedido, pagado y luego al revisar el recibo me di cuenta de que me habían cobrado £ 7 por el jugo de manzana. Cuando pregunté esto, un miembro muy grosero del personal me informó que no hacen jugo a los niños y que ella no me había escuchado. Cuando le expliqué que mi hijo de 4 años no quería una taza de jugo de £ 7 16 oz, simplemente se encogió de hombros y esencialmente me dijo que no era su problema. No habíamos tocado la bebida. Más tarde vino, me explicó que era la gerente y me ofreció un reembolso de 80 dólares. Cuando le pregunté dónde más podía quejarme, se encogió de hombros y no dijo nada porque era la gerente. Personal grosero, productos de mala calidad y sobreprecio.

I am personally obsessed with this place, it offers halal food, perfect customer service, food gets done quickly, and you get great quality for what you pay for! I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews, I believe people are comparing it to other places and/or pizza stores which obviously is not fair, they offer many different types of foods from Asian food to pizzas and burgers, it is true the food quality is not the greatest but you are getting what you pay for, it is comparatively cheap and I have never once went sick due to how clean they are, some people are complaining about being sick from the pizza but maybe they’re just lactose intolerant. Overall if you’re looking for a cheap, halal, and good food then you must give them a try, don’t raise your expectations! They seem to be temporarily closed atm which sucks for me because I have been hoping to order for a few days now, I hope all is well with them.

The pizza always looks like it was made long before it was ordered. Also, all the positive reviews look like they were left by staff. Avoid this branch at all costs.

El personal era educado, sin embargo la calidad de la comida era extremadamente mala. La pizza de la sartén profunda era muy aceitosa y tenía un sabor demasiado cocido. Las patatas estaban a medio cocinar. El lugar está deteriorado y en grave necesidad de un cambio de imagen. No estoy seguro de que se haya tocado desde los 80. No volverá

Golden City is a solid choice for Chinese and Cantonese takeaway. The food is fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, making it great for a quick meal or a feast at home. Quality of the food was good. One of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. Unfortunately my order was delivered to the wrong address (!!) so I didn’t have any food after 1 hour 45 minutes - fortunately my neighbour still had the food and hadn’t touched it yet… Not sure how the driver managed to do that. But in the end my food was tasty and the restaurant were apologetic. So overall I would recommend.
