La Unica in Scarborough

Recently got garlic Kiev calazone was mostly just dough hardly any filling most went into bin plus chips were dark brown most went too bin wouldn't recommend

Not the best Doner was bad and kofta was a mushed together beef burger.

The pizza was amazing and the kebabs looked really nice as well. Definitely recommend

Food was nice but I did find the chips and especially the rice portion very small . Delivery on time .

My daughter ordered only received 2 salads and 2 cans of diet coke which she ordered also 2 kebab meats and chips never received phoned the take away she got called a lair down the phone was so rude! So basically took the £21.40 for 2 boxes of salad will never use again!! My daughter was so upset as she's not a lair she never received what she had paid cash for just eat are looking into this matter for her

Had a bad experience few months back but this time food was spot on!mixed chicken and doner kebab and the bread was so nice.garlic bread beautiful and nice salad and sauces

Order arrived over an hour late, so I phoned up and they said 10 minutes, didn’t arrive, phoned 3 times and they said 10 minutes every time. Then the order was wrong. It arrived around 2 hours after I ordered it

NOT UP TO THEIR USUAL STANDARD. Never ever had a problem with this takeaway before. Always fast delivery with hot food. NOT TODAY... Order was placed at 21.02pm, delivery was listed as 22.10pm, then when reported late at 22.25pm, got a text saying they were "on their way", FINALLY arrived at 23.02pm...no apology from the driver and food was all stone cold. Restaurant has refused to refund any of the order and JE have given a naff credit too. Really unimpressed by somewhere that's usually so good

I used to be a regular at La Unica, but after a little break and going to the fantastic (but expensive) Cactus, I thought I’d give La Unica a try again. Still as cheap as ever. But the food has had a serious drop in quality. It’s a real shame. Delivery wise the food arrived late and slightly warmer than cold. Poor.

lovely tasty pizzas and garlic bread, well cooked and piping hot

Food good as always but always something missing. This time 1 can of coke received and ordered 4. Previous to that no doner meat in combo kebab and previous to that no mushroom on pizza. Need to improve on getting orders right. Been ordering from here for years but of late, always something missing

The food was very greasy and the cheese crust had spilled out the pizza also the chips were very soggy and wet they seemed old, the pepperoni I think there was around 5 pieces I also ordered pepperoni crust in which I got one piece of pepperoni in it. Not impressed

although we ordered through just eat our delivery was 45 mins late.though they got parts of the order wrong,we recieved a free pizza and promised £15 off our next order.bit of a shame as normally no problems here.

Order took a lot longer than it should have. Food was okay but not very hot. Unusual for them as usually it’s great food/service.

Came on time,, pizza was decent, kabab was a bit dry but fine. The garlic sauce , bread and salad were so fresh and yummy.

Ordered pizza and got unpaid for extra hair on it, probably because none of the staff use nets. Delightful. I don’t think they ever probe the meat either, because chicken in kebab was undercooked….not clever. Do you guys not understand your public liability? The crime groups that buy fast food shops to launder their ill gotten cash really should staff them properly

Lovely food Had 3 different Kebabs and due to a mix up they rectified and delivered it straight away.

Would be a 5 star but they dont read the comments section.asked for mushrooms instead of bacon on my pizza didnt do this.

Absolutely tasty as hell Shawarma, crunchy fresh salad, beautiful spice taste. Best Shawarma I’ve had in a while.

Ordered food and they tried to charge me £12 to much so I got manager and he said its just a small mistake (food was £7.80) not £19.80 paid for extra bread didn't get it food was terrible hard chips under cooked kebab meat and sauce was terrible I've never written a review in my life but I hope this helps anyone thinking of using this place avoid at all costs mine went in the bin

Really disappointed. Have used la única for a number of years and recommended them to everybody however tonight’s was disappointing. Food was over 45 mins late and order was missing items. Ordered a chicken wrap meal deal and it was literally 3 pieces of chicken in a tortilla wrap…no salad or sauce despite it saying it came with it. Wrap just came on it’s own too despite ordering meal deal. I know they were busy and down a driver but they also didn’t deliver the missing food tho they said they w

Cold food over an hour late I asked the guy to feel how cold joke hopefully refund. Never again

Food was dry and tasteless, burnt also. Usually used to love the food from here but not same now. Will not be using again.

Ordered wedges sent fries, only blackspot.

Food was left on door step, had to ring to find out where the food was to be told it was on the door step they said they rang but had no calls come through and no missed calls. We have a door bell they could of rang when they were outside. Our food is now cold, won't be going there again

After picking up the wrong order I rang and was told my order would be brought to me they couldn’t of been more helpful the food was lovely

Disappointed. Regularly order from this restaurant. Delivery was late, food was soggy, wet and lukewarm. Missed an item and offered to drop it off after waiting called the restaurant who had no intention of bring me the item. In the end had to collect it myself.

Our order was a little over an hour and a half late and when we called the restaurant they were rude and hung up quickly without giving any answers. When the food arrived it was cold and the pizza and the calzone were burnt.

I asked the Donna meat to be a little overcooked and it came burnt, every piece was burnt and black and was hard to chew. They did send another one out but I just couldn’t eat it. And the pizza wasn’t that good either. I used to like this place but not anymore.

Food was lovely and hot, delicious kebab and pizza, delivery guy very polite, 100% would recommend. This was my 2nd order!!!

The chicken kebabs are out of this world in whatever you guys marinate the chicken in and really generous portion size. Only ever had one problem with an order of forgotten chips but they delivered them asap when they realised.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Had a delivery, food was DELICIOUS!! A lovely huge kebab with separate side salad and chilli sauce. Was all absolutely gorgeous. Pizza was lovely too, enough toppings and delivery guy was polite. 10/10

HUGE kebab, with a nice side salad, chilli sauce was just about right. Wasn't a pitta bread as I expected but the bread it was in was delicious. Pizza was lovely too!!! Highly recommended.

Missing item - chips (refunded by justeat) Parmo not good...burnt cheese on bottom (I'm from Middlesbrough so its gotta be good to be enjoyable...but shouldn't send out burnt cheese on base) Chips that we did get were re-fried We got free cheese garlic bread for order over £20 which was good. Normally well enjoyed from this takeaway so hopefully just an off day. If next time it's back to their best I will review again and give 5 stars.. That's my challenge to la unica.

We love this place, me and my husband come regularly when we visit our house in Scarborough. Took my mum who is 89, they made such a fuss of her. She's loved her chicken pieces and chips. Great service, great food and so handy for us.

Why was there linapple all over pizza ?!?!? I never asked for this and under ham it should say hawian

My mom lives upstairs, everytime i go over i can't miss their pizza!!! It s great ! The staff is lovely and the premise is always clean. 10/10 for us. Well done guys!!!

Didn’t turn up The shop said they turned up but they didn’t there were three adults in the flat and the buzzer never buzzed they obviously don’t understand how flats work when we went to the shop to collect after timing them and them hanging up they were really rude so am not recommending this to anyone ever for la unicameral or just eat

1.5 hours for delivery on a Thursday night seem a lot. Food very average at best.

Food was really good the kebabs are huge! And taste really good they weren't greasy or anything the pitta bread wasn't that great but the kebab made up for it and so did the portions. The chips were really good and so is the tomato garlic bread would definitely recommend and go there again

Missing a bottle of coke and half an hour late. Sadly don't even have time to eat it now so pizza for breakfast it seems, by which time I might have been able to buy a drink to go with it.

Everything that I ordered was ok. Except the fried chicken 🍗 you cud tell it had been refried so very crispy and dry. But like I said Everything else was fine.
