The food just wasn’t very nice. The sauces were bland and watery. Satay sauce is supposed to be a peanut sauce. Instead it was watery, flavourless and had pineapple pieces in it! Not a peanut in sight. The Szechuan beef was also watery and lacked any flavour. Unfortunately what we had was very disappointing and we won’t order here again.

Since new management Lees has gone to the dogs terrible food obnoxious head chef/owner. After being a loyal customer for over 20 years I will never order from there again.

DO NOT ORDER! AVOID! I Got food poisoning from this place, the chicken was terrible and I was sick for over a week straight, the rice is clearly old and nothing was fresh! Terrible customer service also the chef verbally abused me screaming at me and swearing when I complained.

Maybe you should let people know on your website you don’t accept cards. Will not be back for sure.

this place has best chinese take away. however its estimated to take 1hour for delivery but it normaly takes longer. but its worth the wait.

Food was inedible due to being soggy also the chicken was rock hard ! When we called to complain the man was very rude and hung up the phone ! I will not be ordering from hear again , which is a shame as the food used to be lovely !!

The worst food I have ever had and the worst service I asked him to replace the food as it was that bad and he hung the phone up. I wouldn’t have allowed my dog to eat what they gave me an this place use to be good 🤮

DISGUSTING! MAKES ME SICK when companies treat customers like this. Ordered a takeaway online and it said and hour - fair enough, I knew that before I placed the order. An hour and a quarter later I thought I’d give them a quick call to see where my order was but no answer. Rang solidly for 20 minutes but no one picked up and there was no voicemail facility. I then checked my bank and the payment that had been pending since I made the order had disappeared so they obviously cancelled my order without informing me. No phone call, email - nothing and naturally they have all of these details when you make the order. By this point it was 10.50pm. We’d been working all day and had nothing else in. How little they must think of their customers to not even have the basic good manners and decency to notify us. Communication is everything. A simple one minute phone call is all it would have taken. Learn some basic respect! If I was able to leave no stars I would.

Placed an order, waited over an hour. Tried to call them several times. The phone went unanswered and I couldn’t leave a message. The only way I knew my order was cancelled was some 2hrs later when the payment no longer showed as pending. No phone call or email to say they cancelled the order. If I was able to leave no stars, I would. Shocking service

Food is really good. It’s so fresh and well made. I really enjoyed it. Delivered on time and it’s close by 😊

Absolutely dreadful who ever just cooked the food I just ordered should go back to cleaning the dishes it was the worse and I mean worsed Chinese I've had and I've been to scunthorpe

Second time getting a takeaway and again food was tasty. Especially the Szechuan beef was super juicy. Portion sizes are good. With other takeaways I tend to normally arrive around 5 -10 minutes after my scheduled pick up time to avoid potentially having to wait but both times I ordered here I got a phone call telling me the food was ready a few minutes before the scheduled pick up time. My go to place for a cheap, quick, no fuzz Chinese takeaway.

Quick delivery is a + competitive pricing too. Good Quality food though inconsistent having repeatedy order same meal 3 times quality has varied. Big minus is that its often closed . 7 out of 10 rating when they get it right & are actually open 😊 *Consistency Seems To Have Improved Recently ....

The chief cook in that place is very experienced, I like a lot tasting all their food. The food is always of high class, the attitude towards the clients is efficient. I often go to this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. Highly recommended.

As a vegan I have been looking for a place for two years in North London that does faux sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style (battered) and then I found this . I’m sooo happy as it was a brilliant replacement for the real thing and I’ll never have to miss it again . The vegan duck with pancakes was delicious as well . This will be the place I order from , p.s try the vegan “ prawns” . So good !

I had to try this, as my usual Chinese takeaways were closed.. The food was AWFUL, I love Chinese food, and this is the WORST I have ever had. It was so over salty and bland. The chicken balls were just greasy and tasteless and the sesame prawn toast, just tasted of an old fryer. I beg you, please don't order the food here. Instead order from Kings Chinese on Junction Road in Archway or Fortune Express in Tufnell Park, both deliver and the food is next level Chinese, they are both amazing.

Delivery was fast and food very hot still. Won ton soup was a bit too bland, dumplins, bbq ribs, crispy pork lemon chicken.. all sooo good. Will be ordering from them a lot more, in the future.

Delivery was really fast, price was very good, and food was really good also. I recommended Lee garden to friends and family and they all were really pleased with the food and service. I ordered through deliveroo.

Horrible since changing owners bland with bits of bones in my noodles nasty don't waste your money.

Since changing ownership its its not as good.used to love the bbq rib sauce.but now its no where near as good.

Under new management..food and service poor. Driver always has issues delivering to me which never was the case before. Prices have also gone up. After 10 years I will be looking for a new chinese take-away. Save your money!

Ordered chicken in lemon which was vile more bread crumbs than chicken. And nearly broke my tooth on a bone in special chow mein. Ended up picking out 3 bones!!!! Why. Never order again.

Ok so first of all ive been her a few time in the past it was lovely. Yesterday i decided to order from here which usually doesn't deliever to mine but obvisouly under mew management they did. Singapore chowmein WAS NOT Singapore chowmein it was average chowmein that tasted below average. SOOO much fat in the chowmein..why would you leave that in the food?????? The egg fried rice was BLAND literally just egg and rice no seasining or soy sauce. Salt and pepper Chicken wings WAS TERRIBLE LITERALLY JUST CHICKEN WINGS AND CRUSHED CHILLIS THROWN ON TOP. No onion or fresh chilli or seaseme oil nothing! Dry wings....Lastly sweet and sour tasted like banana was in it. PLEASE TRY TO CHANGE YOUR RECIPE OR CHEF !!!! I AM NEVER COMING BACK AND I WON'T BE GIVING RECOMMENDATIONS

This was my favourite Chinese until new management took over, pork in plum sauce came all dry and sauce in a little pot, chow mein was oily and awful. Don't bother, save your money. Any recommendations for a new Chinese? Thanks

Under new management. Whole menu has changed and more expensive. Prawn toast is awful when it used to be the best. Egg fried rice has no flavour and sweet and sour sauce is too tangy. Such a shame as used to order from here every week but not anymore. Have to find somewhere else.

their food is quite nasty, put all onion basically to make it look big portions. Horrible noodles...

Been here a few times and can confirm they do good Chinese takeaway. Have various dishes not all Cantonese takeaways does- e.g. smoked chicken. Only thing i would complain about is my last spring roll was not drained properly, so a lot of oil dripped off the roll and sat at the bottom of the bag, pretty sure first couple of times it wasn't like that.

Popped in to restaurant on my way home ordered set meal one with crispy shredded chilli beef & Peeking ribs Set meal would've been good but the rice was absolutely shocking it was brown which means it's been covered in soy source it was overcooked to the point of being soggy and to top it all they used broken grains of rice which might save them possibly 5p a portion not ideal when youre getting a takeaway! Crispy fried chilli beef was half a portion very disappointed when you're paying £5.50 and it was soggy sealed in a plastic box I only live 500 yards up the road drove home by motorbike and it was soggy as anything! The Peking ribs were good The chicken in black bean sauce was good but again not a full portion lots of space in a small tray for it to be filled up I went back to the takeaway to tell them of my disappointment and told them I wasn't looking for any form of refund I just thought I'd give them feedback He said because they use delivery drivers they seal deep-fried crispy chilli beef containers despite me collecting the meal myself in person!! Young guy behind the counter very nice and friendly but didn't listen to my comments or feedback didn't realise I've worked as a chef!

Shocking food ,,, ribs are ribs no meat ar all ,, noodles are super noodles that you get in a packet,,, and my duck in plum sauce ,,, was duck in pineapple ,,, duck peices looked and tasted like they had been dragged along the floor ,,, first and last time i will ever order that crap

Great food! I've tried many local places and this has been by far my favourite for Chinese food, it's very quick and the pricing is very reasonable. The vegetarian options here are very tasty, particularly the beancurd (tofu), and many guests that I've had would recommend the meat dishes.

Basically does what it says on the tin. Well prepared and good sized portions. I like the special fried rice. Been coming here for years and never been disappointed.
