Absolutely delicious and great quality.

Had been thinking of pasta for many days, just customized according to me, the taste was superb and service was on top

Had a cheddar cheese Sandwich,expecting nice slices of tasty cheddar to be given rubbery pre packed sliced cheese. It may have been cheddar but taste less .disappointing. Last time I came it was much better.

Only reason im leaving a 5 star review was how my problem was handled. Walked miles to get some bruchetta, apparently they were all out. Asked if i can just have plain one without the truffle, assuming how can a italian place be out of tomatos, but denied. Ordered the lasagna and it was pretty much a soup of grease and lasagna bits. I haven't sent anything back in years but it was inedible, mouth coated in grease. The owner however was very polite and professional about it. I understand im going against the owners 60year family recipe, but lets take a stroll into the now and realize eating a bowl of grease isn't going to fly these days. I like to live without heart disease. Still thank you to owner for being a respectful person, I wouldn't go here again but I appreciate places that know what its like to be courteous.

Brilliant food and service, would highly recommend to anyone who wants to try Italian food, four of us each had a different dish and all looked/tasted brilliant

Perfect greasy spoon breakfast and italian dinner. Tony (owner and chef) is a local legend and Gent. Just book for dinner or pop in for brekkie and enjoy.

We have the pleasure of living a short drive from the Ship Inn and delight in visiting . The food here is top quality superbly prepared with friendly service .Cannot recommend highly enough . Don’t miss out !

We visited the Artisan Tap for the first time today to see Mark and Adam from The Bluetones play an acoustic gig. Great intimate venue with good selection of drinks and great staff. Will definitely look out for future events here

We have eaten as a family at La Tavola several times now and I have to say that it has a quality and authenticity beyond expectation. The food is the standout but the service is also very friendly and the wines are good too. Would definitely recommend, and will be back!

Great pub. Would highly recommend until beginning of next month. As very sorry to say current landlord and chief will be leaving. Will update once have visited when new propiaters have taken over.
