Italian Pizzeria Café 84 in Bath and North East Somerset

Had been thinking of pasta for many days, just customized according to me, the taste was superb and service was on top

Lovely pizza, lovely service, very accommodating!

We only came here because the restaurants we wanted to go to were closed, and thank god they were. The garlic bread with cheese was really good, the pepperoni and the cheese from the pepperoni pizza was absolutely delicious, and the fries we got were one of the best fries I’ve tasted this year, I finished it in a few minutes. The waiters were also really friendly and nice, only criticism I have is the 4 person table we sat on was kind of small, forcing me to be a bit separated from the table. Either way, the interior was also really beautiful, especially the paintings.

We had a lovely dinner at Cafe 84. The place is family friendly and staff are friendly and welcoming. We had caprese salad and bruschetta for starter, and penne pasta al forno and hot honey pepperoni pizza. And we recommend it to everyone to try. My 1.5y/o toddler enjoyed the caprese salad and pasta! We will definitely visit the place again.

The food was absolutely amazing, the portion was generous and the price was reasonable. I’d definitely recommend coming here!!!

A takeaway that rarely disappoints. You’re guaranteed to get all your dips delivered, the pizza is very good and of consistent quality. The chips and their garlic mayo are lush. Cannot comment on the atmosphere.

Amazing place. Very good coffee and delicious pizza!! I’ve spent almost the entire day working from there and enjoyed the atmosphere. Good Wi-Fi and power sockets to charge your devices ;-)

The food is amazing , bruschtta con pomodoro and the Garlic bread with cheese are a must to start your lunch or dinner with, me and my girlfriend higly recommend this nice little place!

The food was first rate, we were in around 1830 so it was very quiet. Lovely place off the busy through fares. Would definitely eat there again.

The food was absolutely fantastic, with every dish perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and warm, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. I’ll definitely be back every chance I get! The only “drawback”? This level of quality in both food and service seems to only exist here!

I have had the pleasure of visiting Cafe 84 this evening and I am blown away by my experience. Italian food is my absolute favourite and I am not easily pleased but let me tell you this is the best pizza I have ever tasted! I ordered a margarita with olives and it was absolutely sublime, I have eaten pizza in Italy and this is the most authentic I have ever eaten in the UK every aspect of it was perfection compliments to the chef I shall definitely be returning! I also had bruschetta to start which was also juicy and fresh perfectly balanced flavours with the fresh basil, olive oil and a dash of balsamic cannot fault at all 👌

We went for a family meal here the other evening. The food was delicious. My son said the best pizza he has had in a long time. I had meat balls, which were so tasty. We would definitely go back here again soon. The staff are lovely and friendly too. 🥰

The best pizza I’ve eaten at a restaurant since arriving in the U.K. The Roquito ! the restaurant was quiet when we got there. Service was friendly and prompt. And a pleasant evening all round. Can’t wait to come back and try their risotto!

Lovely clean,friendly place. I was surprised by the variety of dishes on the menu which looked quite appetising. My friends ate. I didn't but they were satisfied. They have indoors and terrace as well. They also host events. I gave the 4 starts for the abundance of lovely choices on the menu and the willingness to make it suit your dietary choices but I can t give more start since personally I chose not to eat at that time.

One of the best eating places in town. The coffee is very good as well. The staff is friendly and the toilet is always clean. I really like this place.

The lasagna is insane 10/10 I recommend and was very well priced for the quality of food like i s10/10

If you are looking for a place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner I recommend Italian Pizzeria Cafe 84. Great food combined with excellent service. We enjoyed the Caprese Salad as an appetizer; note to self always order the Caprese Salad at Cafe 84. My wife had the Lasagne and I had the penne pasta with gorgonzola and chicken, both dishes were outstanding. No visit to Bath would be complete without dinner at Italian Pizzeria Cafe 84.

We are in Bath for two days and found this great restaurant the first night. We had the Penne Al Forno (which was penne pasta with baked chicken, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese and cream) and a Pepperoni Pizza. We liked the food and service so much we are going to go back tonight as well as they have such a nice menu selection

The tastiest Italian we have ever tried! all freshly made, quality ingredients and really friendly and helpful service. The cheesy garlic bread and caprese salad were delicious as were the pizza and pasta dishes we also tried! If you are visiting bath we would highly recommend.

You have to go to this amazing restaurant. First visit and will not be my last

Long time since having an Italian meal, and was not disappointed at all. From the service and the pricing, the Lasagne, the homemade Tiramisu, washed down with a lovely glass or 3 of red, am highly recommending this family run Italian restaurant. Will visit again soon when working in the area.

I found out they have been in business for 15 years. A best kept secret? I don’t know why, the food is wonderful. The owner makes an absolutely delicious tiramisu. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere and seating. Don’t miss this place.

We had a fantastic meal, with great service. The seabass was delicious, and my wife swooned over the caprese and the cheese garlic bread. More reasonably priced than some center city restaurants.

Great food, had a great creamy pasta and tasty pizza

I can’t speak for the takeaway side of things, but what I can say is, if you’re in Bath and want a fantastic meal, in a cozy setting, this is the place to be. I stop away a lot, and I’ve sampled my fair share of mediocre meals, awful meals and rarely, meals you’d be willing to travel out of your way just to be able to have again. This is the latter, superb in every way and you don’t need to break the bank to afford it either!

We had two pizzas and some sweets and it was extremely good. Staff were super friendly and the whole experience was great! Highly recommend.

This terrific little restaurant is about 1km from the centre of Bath, but is sooo worth getting to. Friendly, welcoming staff, good length menu with plenty of options and casual atmosphere. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Amazing food, amazing staff and amazing service!

The most interesting part of this experience was the cancellation of my reservation after we left. I wonder if it was an attempt to ward off a poor reviewWaited 15 minutes to be seated. Table booked at 8pm, no food, not even olives, until 9pm. Linguine was OK; calamari tough and tasteless. Sea bass very overcooked and tough. Very poor service and food.

Great family run Italian Cafe! Pizzas are brilliant and the staff are great.

I like this cafe in Bath better than any other. I use it for Breakfasts . Although they have many more strings to their bow. The Breakfasts are just what I like with excellent service from Sonia the owner who must say is very pleasant on the eye. And the Breakfasts are not greasy. The Cafe/Restaurant is clean and tidy with plenty of room ideal for any group meeting .

The garlic bread with cheese is just excellent. The risotto is made to perfect. The 84 salad gives us a surprise, with the Buffalo cheese on top of it. Sure, we will be back.

One of the best places to try pure Italian food.

Just had the most delicious dinner in over 80 days of travelling throughout UK and several European countries, including northern Italy. I had Frutti Di Mare (Seafood pasta) and my partner had Braciola Di Maiale (pork loin in mushroom and Marsala sauce). We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals that were fresh, generous and delicious. 10 out of 10, the restaurant was also clean and very pleasant and the service was friendly and efficient. Thank you so much 😊

Best pizza I've had in a while I reccommend

Been here multiple times and had a great experience each time This is some of the best Italian food I have had in the south west, including Bristol. I came back and it was great each time so consistency points make this a genuine 5 star. The pizzas were quite light, like something you would get abroad. The Carbonara is made with Egg! Hallelujah! and no cream. It is so much better this way and this is one of the few places that does it. The calamari was great too! difficult to get right The place has outside and inside seating. I was worried about outside seating, as It is on a main road which can make it a little noisy but I was not bothered when sitting outside on each occasion. if you like authentic italian, go here

We’ve eaten here a lot over the years but are now very dissapointed that they have changed their chips to bigger chunky chips, my partner likes them but I do not and they have also changed their garlic dip, it used to taste homemade and delicious now it tastes cheap. Won’t be returning now sadly.

The food was fine however the delivery driver was extremely rude! I couldn’t hear what she was saying on the phone, so buzzed her into my block of flats when I knew she was there, when she arrived at my door instead of even saying hello, she had a go at me for making her leave her Parked car and not going downstairs to collect the food myself. I had just finished a night shift so wouldn’t have felt comfortable to go downstairs in my pjamas if I had been able to hear her - on the other had, the driver was fully dressed a working part of a shift, there’s a lift so it was very easy to come upstairs. The way she spoke alone was enough to put me off buying from cafe 84 in a while. Being polite costs nothing.

Very good quality food for a fair price. Both the pizzas and the pastas are tasty. I also appreciate the early opening hours.

A little hesitant to go here - it’s sandwiched between papa johns and Pizza Hut. Functional Italian cafe……but the food was really really good - not a huge menu as expected for a small place, but all 3 courses spot on (gamberoni, sea bass, tiramasu) Service very friendly too. Was very pleasantly surprised

I don't have any complaint about food or staff are nice and friendly but I am not happy about the service charge of £7 that added to my receipt.. there is no any special service you have done for me ..Why you charged me !

Order turned up an hour late (after having to call them twice), spaghetti carbonara just tasted like pasta in double cream with way too much black pepper and Parmesan cheese (that was an extra £1) tasted like plastic. Bad quality food that is extremely over priced. Definitely do not recommend.

A superb meal, service for drinks at first a little slow but worth the wait. Beautiful home made food, great flavour and portion size. Well worth a visit. Looking forward to our next visit. 😁😁😁

Best Italien restaurant in England I have ever been. Arrived late on a Saturday in the hotel nearby. Looking for a quick and easy dinner. Ended up in a one and a half hour lucullus dinner and enjoyed every minute and bite. After two days finished the visit in Bath with a second dinner here. It was even better. So sad that I only give 5 stars and not 6.

Very quick and friendly service. Arrabiata was very spicy! Desserts were incredible.

I wish I could give this restaurant 6 stars. The food was full of flavour, truly Italian. I intend to return with my wife tomorrow night as I want to try another dish. Will it be even better tomorrow than this evening?
