Another fab stay at the brown horse.
Three course meal was absolutely amazing like always.
Breakfast, again amazing standard and included in with our stay.
Will return again and again and again.
Amazing food. The staff were really kind! I ordered the chicken breast ramen. Thick soup and chewy ramen. And the vegetarian roll was so good!!! And vegetarian tofu udon was so rich!

We visited twice while on holiday for a week. First Sunday lunch was amazing, roast beef and all the trimmings was cook to perfection. Pub was busy, so had to wait about 45min and in my experience that is perfectly exceptable for the quality food we received. 2nd time was early evening, we had burgers all round. Again, very well, cook great quality ingredients and was served within 20 mins.
My son is also a celiac, and to pub offers a great gluten-free menu, which he was very happy about.
The landlord and staff are very welcoming, helpful and great atmosphere.
The best recommendation I can give this place is I wish it was near to where I live. I will return and I recommend it to anyone.
Absolutely outstanding - a real hidden gem on the edge of Swansea's central shopping district. Authentic French cuisine prepared to perfection in an unassuming, relaxed and quiet environment. Family owned and operated and although not exactly offering 'everyday' pricing, it's far from exorbitantly expensive for what it is, and when compared to other establishments.
It's a perfect venue for family events/celebrations, meet-ups with friends - you'll be glad you've found it and will soon be recommending it to all of your friends!
Called in with the family. Greeted by the friendly staff (found out was the landlord) Lovely evening, sat outside in a heated pod. Lovely garden with swings for the kids.
Menu was big enough for plenty of choice. Had pie,a proper pie! Fish and chips, steak and chicken nuggets for the boy.
Well worth a visit and will be back very soon!
Absolutely gorgeous , food piping hot , very tasty and well worth the money , staff were very friendly and went that extra mile to make sure my meal was perfect . We will be back for sure .
We had a fantastic meal at the Half Way house. Much better value than other higher rated pubs in the area. People in the bar beforehand were real friendly as well.
worst indian we have ever had delivered. No flavour, lamb really fatty ended up putting it all in the bin apart from the starter. Love curry but wont be getting it from here again. £35 wasted
