Victoria Tandoori in Mansfield

Brilliant flavoursome meal, highly recommend the takeaway, staff very helpful and pleasant. Will be back very soon for more delights, best Indian food for miles.

Eaten here about four times now, had a great meal every time.

Since we have been going to Victoria for curries we wouldn’t go anywhere else. The curries are insane and as my partner and I have different heat tolerance we can both get something that we enjoy! Their Madras heat-level Chicken Tikka Masala is the perfect spice level for me! Delivery is perfectly timed, they find the house with no problem which is a massive thing for where we live (5 stars from me) and the food is always HOT when it arrives. I can’t fault them. Whatever they’re doing in that restaurant I hope they keep doing it!

Really enjoyed our curries, and the peshwari naan was the best I’ve ever had! On top, the customer service level is really good, especially when my Husband lost his wallet and they helped us by checking the CCTV. Thank you!

Amazing curry every time, I try to try something different every time and they always deliver. Tried Indian restaurant all over the country and this is by far the best I’ve ever tried. Even recommended it to a few friends who have been and said it’s the best curry they have ever had!

I meet a friend here because it’s half way between the two of us every other month. We have been twice and the food is great , the service is very good and the ambience is just how you want it to be able to chat and hear each other . Can’t fault .

Looking forward to a nice meal but very disappointed, the chicken shashlick was supposed to arrive at your table sizzling the only thing that was sizzling was the onions the chicken was cold ,the Bombay potatoes were cold aswell .we have been here many times and found the food really good but I’m afraid last night it was very poor . Needless to say we will not be returning 👎🏻

There was 9 of us , and we all enjoyed our meal, staff was good, Beer 🍺 Bob on, even got us Taxi's 🚕 for home, will be back,

Lets face it we all think we are curry connoisseurs, but honestly this is the best curry I've ever had in the local area. You will not be disappointed.

Me and my family ordered a takeout, food came in 20 minutes we had a ctm, madras sauce, chicken pathia, 3 cheese and garlic nans, and 3 mushroom rice. Food was cooked to perfection, plenty of chicken and very tender, Nan breads were amazing and the rice was gorgeous. Best Indian I've had would 100% recommend to anyone

Ordered a takeaway. Our first Indian meal for over two years. This was not for us. Very over salted and otherwise bland Side orders very small for a sharing option. Will eat elsewhere.

Nice tasting curry at the Victoria curry place and a few Cobras of course 😉 Recommended for the food. Price wise, probably the going rate, you probably find cheaper, but it seems of reasonable quality and presentation!

Glad we booked as was really busy, and we can see why. Was by far the best Indian food we've ever tasted (and we've had a few) staff were attentive and lovely, slight wait on food but considering how busy it was we didn't mind and was well worth the wait. I don’t like to give bad reviews, but I feel this one is deserved. Arrived as a party of 3 and the only other table occupied when we arrived was a table of 6. Drinks order was taken and arrived at the table was a bottle of beer that was over a month out of date. It took over an hour to get our poppadoms and pickle tray and another 45 minutes for the mains. When the food arrived the waiter obviously had no interest in being there as he just placed the food down anyhow, even chucking tray of rice straight on to a plate. The nan breads were cold and the curries warm enough to eat. The table of 6, sent several items back because they were stone cold. After 2 and half hours we finally got the bill, with no offer of taking off the price of an out of date beer and a discount for waiting so long (not forget there was a total of 9 people in the whole restaurant). Overall a poor experience and will be looking else where when venturing to Mansfield for a curry.

Went for a catch with a friend from the moment we walked in the service was exceptional. Great attention to detail, couldn't do enough for us, Had the Butter chicken absolutely fantastic, portion was very generous, took home the obligatory doggy bag, highly recommended second visit will most definitely be back. My curry Chilli Masala was sickly sweet with no kick at all and my wife’s paneer curry lacked depth. Beer and service were good though.

Bhuna tasted of water and was inedible because of this. Naan bread was burnt. Awful dinner

This was one of the nicest Indian meals we’ve had in a long time. We had mainly vegetarian food and it was all so different and tasty! All the staff were lovely too! Will definitely return!

Had a takeaway and it was delivered it was cold and the poppadoms no where crispy they soft and the portions small for the price .

It's not often that I find food spicy enough for me, but Victoria Tandoori hit the nail on the head with their Phall, and it was divine.

Just had a chicken, potato and egg curry. Was beautiful. Large selection of dishes from mild to blow your ears out. We shared the mixed tandoori starter which was delicious. Neither of us could finish our meal but we tried 😁. Really nice staff, prompt service and good value for money. We'll go again happily.

Thus is the first time my husband and I have visited. The food and service were excellent. The staff were welcoming and efficient but not fussy. We will definitely go to the Victoria Tandoori again when we are in the area.

Ordered a takeaway which was over an hour and a half late. I thought originally they were doing me a favour due to the late kick off of the Champions League Final and that they were wanting me to enjoy my takeaway with the match on. Turns out, they wanted me to miss the majority of the first half on the phone to them explaining I haven't recieved my order. When called to query, I was told it had been delivered and that the man in my household had accepted it at my door number. I repeatedly stated it hadn't been delivered. This then resulted in a quiz of who lives within my household that may had accepted it. After several phone calls and implications that I am a liar they sent the manager out to the house they'd delivered it to on a different street with a different house number. Luckily, I was on window patrol and saw them arrive at the house on the opposite end of the estate and was able to head down to discuss during half time. Poor service and certainly would not recommend. After enjoying many takeaways from them in the past, their customer service is now rock bottom. In future, we'll certainly head to Rima Faz.

I go here at least once a month. I'm not sure how many chefs there are, but 9 times out of 10 the food is out of this world! Highly recommended, the owners and staff are just wonderful, the restaurant itself is comfortable, clean and has a lovely atmosphere. Honestly, I wouldn't go anywhere else for an amazing Indian meal.

Never had a bad one from here and not had one for a while. Had one on Friday and it was awful. Rice came out of container in one lump and had to try and break up up, without success. The rice tasted awful and ruined the meal. Nan breads used to be lovely and big but these are barely worth having. Husbands meal, he couldn't eat it, it was very dry. Salad had seen better days. Never again.

Did not have poppadoms or a starter. Had 2 chicken mains shared a rice , one portion Bombay potatoes one portion of chips a rogan sauce and 2 soft drinks. The potatoes were large mushy and tasted off. The chicken was not good quality. The bill was £56 . Not good value for this sort of price the quality of food should be much better . Sorry but will not waste my hard earned money here again .

Visited Victoria Tandorrori for the first time and was horrified to be served chicken in my Vegetable Bhaji (vegetarian meal) To make things worse when I pointed this out to the staff the whole situated was handled very badly! No apology was made and I felt like they did not care as the seemed to find it funny. Don't waste your money here Rude staff dirty toilets and decor from the 1990s The worst bit no regard for your personal beliefs or dietary requirements.

Have Always struggled To Find a Good Indian Takeaway, being Indian myself im just aware of how tastes/textures should be , nearly every indian takeaway is greasy and filled with oil-which it shouldnt be! However, this place I can say was not greasy at all, so that was a good start! -chicken jalfrezi - overly spiced - this should have been a medium spice, was deffo overly spiced with chilli and was super hot. -lamb rogan - had fresh uncooked garlic in one corner of the curry which was a bit strange - lamb was tender and nicely cooked though-not bad at all. -lamb chops - totally inedible. Couldn't pull the meat of the bone at all so major let down for my husband who was really looking forward to these! -meat samosas - not fresh in house at all, deffo frozen! Tiny and not how samosas are at all - £6 these were! - chips - stale and cold - poppadoms - stale -roti - not fresh at all - frozen and warmed through -plain yogurt -- lumpy and watery :/ looked like baby sick! -salad - put with the hot food so was soggy and inedible too. Overall curries were decent but rest of the food wasn't very fresh or appetising and we won't be ordering again - deffo not worth the £50 we spent.

Unfortunately I feel this place was a massive let down and needs improvement! Dirty cutlery, very rude staff, and dirty toilets were my main reasons for a negative review. The food was nothing special either and certainly wasn't good value.
