The best restaurants serving Turkish food in England

Sit back and order your dinner, with the radio playing in the background, you can already feel like your in Istanbul proper. Then the food comes hot and ready to enjoy, I regularly come here with my son because of the excellent dishes served and the easy going staff - I often feel like I've saved myself the airfare!

We had a wonderful meal celebrating our friends birthday, the food was so tasty with a brilliant menu choice. The service and friendliness of the staff made it even better. We will definitely be visiting again and recommending you to everyone.

I walked into By Doner as a mortal. Walked out as a demi-God. I ordered the Messy Doner—chicken, lamb, chips, cheese, jalapeños, and a sauce so divine I tried to baptise my fries in it. I think those guys are from another planet and landed to Earth to teach humans how to make a proper doner. Cheese melted like it owed someone money. Jalapeños slapped me awake. I cried. I laughed. I saw a vision of a kebab spinning in heaven…well done guys

Went for a meal for my birthday & I can’t stop thinking about how beautiful the food was excellent and the hospitality was just as amazing, great food great atmosphere and an all round perfect experience 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat in Lowestoft 10/10

Made a mistake with my order so I called the shop, could not have been more apologetic and courteous. Brought the missing item over within 10 minutes. Cannot ask for more

Incredible food. Best lamb meat i’ve ever had. I would fly over from any country for it any day again. Service was also very friendly, warm hearted and professional. I would give 10 stars for the food if i could. Just perfect, elerinize sağalık

Used to be a very good kebab shop but ain’t anymore, the kebab tastes like a weird spice. The salad had a funny taste like expired, I have asked for x-large and half of it was salad and half was meat. Absolutely joke. Also 17,50 £ I paid which is a lot of money for it. Never used to be so expensive. It’s a shame because used to be always my 1st go to. But ain’t anymore.

Excellent Turkish restaurant. The environment is simple but very well-kept. The open kitchen is very nice where you can admire the cooking of the dishes. Friendly and very professional staff. Good quality food served with particular attention to the plating. Worth trying.
