Taskim has truly been a godsend for my family! With so few halal takeaway options in Maidstone, we were thrilled when Taskim opened its doors. The quality of their food is outstanding, with fresh ingredients that make every meal memorable. Their donner kebab is hands down the best in Maidstone – and honestly, I’d put it up there with some of the top-notch kebabs I’ve had in London and even up north. One of my personal favorites is their 1/4 pounder with cheese, which pairs perfectly with their incredible garlic mayo. This has quickly become our go-to spot, and I’d confidently say Taskim is the best takeaway in town, especially for donner kebabs and burgers. The customer service is also excellent. The lady serving tonight was so friendly and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. She’s definitely a credit to the team! If you’re in Maidstone and looking for fresh, delicious halal takeaway, you won’t find better than Taskim. Highly recommend!

The best Turkish Kabab house in Maidstone, fact! The quality of the food is on a whole different level. I always order the Lamb Shish or Lamb 🐑 Kofta, which is served with rice 🍚 & Naan 🫓. Highly unusual to get both at no extra cost. Try to pre order via a call as always busy.

Absolutely perfect! The food is amazing and so are the staff! A mistake was made on my order and I decided to stick with what was made, the owner was very nice said he would make new, I decided no I'm happy to eat what I've got, 5 minutes later while enjoying this fantastic food inside my van, he came to the window with freshly cooked lamb shish free of charge! I honestly was happy with what I already had, my partner doesn't like lamb but even she enjoyed it, first time in 8 years of me trying to get her to try it and she's usually grossed out 😁 Seal of approval! 1st time using this fantastic grill the gentleman Noah Fatih Russ made us feel very welcome and cooked up some gorgeous Turkish cuisine I'd happily recommend this place to anyone very clean takeaway also everything to be impressed by and nothing to complain about 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I would like to warn customers that they need to PERSONALLY check every item they ordered is present before leaving. Whilst the food is fabulous and what you get portion wise is generous, the quality control of the order fulfilment is shockingly bad. Never had an order 100% complete. I had to push for a refund and even then when offered I was expected to return to get it. Keep my money I said, I’ll take my business elsewhere in future. Update as of May 2024. I’ve decided to update this review and would like to highlight to everyone that the order fulfilment comment has improved. The food is outstandingly good and generous, but I do continue your check that everything I ordered is provided. Great to see the feedback is obviously taken on board.

Today bought chicken and lamb kebab it was not cooked properly and even the rice was like as if it was just soaked in water and given. Not worth the money!!!

Chicken shish wrap with mayo red cabbage,lettuce cucumber mayo and a small chips (chips enough for 3!) Is a mid week peak of awesomeness! Best in maidstone hands down. 👌

Absolutely delicious! Top service, great value and huge portions. We had a large chicken kebab with pitta, salad, rice and sauce, additional lamb doner meat and a portion of chips. Lovely crispy chips, even after a car journey home, the most tasty, tender meat and the rice was exceptional. First time tonight but won’t be the last. Thank you :)

Best turkish food takeaway in town. Friendly service, generous portions and the food is AMAZING! I could live on their fresh salad that comes with the meal but I can't stop there as the kebab is tender and well seasoned, and it comes on a bed of rice, which my children fight over! You can always ask how do you want them to prepare your kebab. It takes around 15 mins for the order and everything served well. Fresh salad, good food, totally a fan!

Called in here on impulse couple of weeks ago and wasn’t sure what to expect or get, opted for a large chicken shish with salad and garlic mayo wife had lamb, you would need a massive appetite to eat it all, my experience of kebab shops is limited but imagine this place would take some beating, excellent service and presentation and food was gorgeous! On our second visit we opted for a small size of the same above and that was still plentiful. My only gripe if being picky would be car parking especially at busy times, phoning your order through would also help cut down any waiting time.

Taksim Mezze and Gill offers amazing tasty food. I always order the chicken Kebab that comes with rice,pitta and salad. The chicken and rice are flavoured beautifully with amazing service with a smile. Ordering online is easy and means you don't have to wait for your food to be cooked.

If you’re fussy about your kebab, then this is the place to eat from. At Taksim, the food is outstanding and prepared with love, as though they are making it for themselves. Always fresh, flavours are superb and portions are very generous. The meat is placed on a bed of rice in its own container, the fresh salad is also packed separately along with a pitta and a tub of sauce of your choice. You can add some side dishes to complement your food like Hummus, Halloumi, Tzatziki and a traditional Turkish spicy sausage called Sujuk. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and portion size. Also the staff are very friendly and polite.

Working down in Maidstone and this is the only place I will eat,the food is amazing and staff are so friendly and welcoming.

Service was really bad. Order food, was then told it would be 20 minutes wait so stood outside waiting. They completely forgot about my food. After 50 minutes, I asked where it was, then they remembered in the end. Not to sure I'll be going back.

Sloppy and expensive! Tried Taksim for the first time tonight. Ordered a chicken shish wrap and it was poor. For £9.90 you get 1 skinny chicken skewer but I can live with the price. What I can’t accept is the poor execution of the food, my wrap was filled with so much ketchup and watery salad that the wrap would not close, he wrapped it tightly but as soon as I tried to eat it it all fell apart. There was so much water from the salad, the wrap just became soggy and and disintegrated and it wasn’t much use to begin with! They might as well of just threw it all in a carrier bag and served it to me. Premium price…. Bargain basement delivery. Won’t be returning.

Place looks lovely was excited to try it as I’ve recently moved to area. Ordered meat n chips and lamb Shish…the lamb Shish was clearly gone off once I got it home. It smelt n felt off. Surely they knew it was no good when they made it for me. Very disappointing especially with cost of living n the move it’s been hard but thought I’d treat me n my son. Very upsetting! Meat n chips was alright though but won’t go back as I’m sure they knew they were selling off meat. It wasn’t cheap

Really good food and good value for money.

I'm an HGV driver who travels the length & breath of the country. It's the 1st time I've ever had to make my own Donner kebab & at £8.90 for a small, very pricey when my tray was half full of rice, which I don't like. Also, poor quality Donner meat, in my opinion, lucky I had a knife in my cab the cut open the pitta 🤔.

Didn't have long to wait, they take orders in person, over the phone or click and collect, though payment is always cash or card upon collection. Brilliant range of products, high quality food. Baclava is a definite win for dessert!! They also run the new barber shop next door, also definitely worth a look!!

Very clean and well kept. The staff are polite and supports arsenal. The lamb doner tasted very meaty and lamby. The chicken shish was very juicy and tender. The boruk was dry and overpriced. The big game changer is the home made sauces. Chilli and Garlic was really good. Certainly recommend for anyone in the area or visiting.

What a wonderful find! Absolutely amazing place. Prices are fair and reasonable and great for the amount you get. I got the Taksim family special for 37.90. Easily feed 3 adults, 3 kids and have spare. Be warned, the chicken may be too hot for some but is delicious and all the food was amazing. The olives, hellim, garlic sauce were great but that chilli sauce was amazing!!! Staff are amazing, tell your friends!!!!

Ive had the Hot & Spicy Chicken Kebab which comes with bread & rice twice. It was really enjoyable, definitely one of the best kebab shops I’ve been to in Maidstone. I will certainly be returning again soon

Probably the best kebab shop in Maidstone. Very friendly service. Very busy and very clean. Food was lovely had the doner kebab and halloumi kebab also the chicken burger is delicious. Chips were also lovely 1 portion is enough for 3. Sauces were all nice too and the salad was fresh. Worth the drive and will visit again.

I’ve been thinking about give a Taksim kebab a try,my other option was closed,anybody knows about Turkish food , knows this food is average ,but pricey.

Very impressed with this new kebab house. Although it's a takeaway only there's a really warm welcome and a great atmosphere. A cut above the other kebab houses in the area: wide range of menu options, high quality ingredients, and great packaging. Staff were very friendly and helpful - clearly taking great pride in their work. Slightly more expensive but worth it if you want a restaurant quality takeaway experience. Only thing to watch out for is of someone else takes your order! They were good enough to cook me a replacement straightaway.

We tried it for the first time the Donna wraps was great not greasy we had salad in ours as well. My husband took the other half of mine to work the next day! We had a portion of chips nice and hot but frankly to much for us. Will definitely be going back to try other things 👍

Firstly, CASH ONLY !!!!! No such thing now, any Buisness asking for cash only is on the fiddle on this occasion they have been caught out as I am a HMRC Tax inspector,,, the food 3 out of 10 I asked for a portion of chips and they gave me three portions and charged accordingly absolute shocking, there all wiping there sweaty foreheads and then picking up the pita breads absolutely disgusting , serious questions I will be submitting to the council over this operation !
