Great food, excellent price cos it was a groupon, fantastic service from Sezer. Spot on. You won’t be disappointed. It was a 6.30 booking, so pretty quiet, as expected.

Went this evening using a Groupon voucher. Food was amazingly tasty and service warm and friendly. Calamari and Borek were done of the best we've had. Seemed very quiet which is a real shame for a Saturday night. If you get the chance to visit I would highly recommend it

Not somewhere I would normally choose for a meal out but so glad I did, the food was spot on and the service topped it, family run buisness that really look after there customers and take pride in what they do. Cannot fault this place at all and will definitely be returning.

I arranged for a group of 6 people to go to Turqusine last month using our Groupon vouchers, another person came independently of the vouchers. Yes, the front looked like a takeaway (I had read a previous review, so was expecting this) , but that was not going to put me off. On entering was greeted like kings and queens, the manager and small staff were so accommodating and welcoming. The selection might have been limited, but as the price was so reasonable, that did not stop us from ordering extras. The food was presented very well and was lovely. We felt very comfortable and appreciated. Would recommend this place 100% and would happily go back again. I am a treat people as you would like to be treated - then all is good!

We were coming back from Ashford designer outlet to london and on our way back we found this restaurant perfectly placed in maidstone and offering 50% discount through Group-on with solid rating. We called for halal confirmation which they did. Parking just got free at 6:30 pm on side street and we luckily arrived at 6:40 pm. Food 🥘 delicious (Starters+main course) Service : outclass Staff : very courteous and supportive A go to place for turkish food.. fully recommended. Thanks. They didn’t had kunefa available despite on the menu which they promised will be there next time.

My go to Turkish place, lovely falafel wrap and very kind staff

I saw this lovely turkish restaurant on Google and decided to visit. The staff were really friendly and pleasant. The place looked really lovely and well kept. The menu had lots of variety. When the food finally started coming, it was really well presented. The food was really nice. I was really impressed. From the starters to the main dish. The ribs were well cooked and very jucy. Although they did not serve any alcoholic drinks, I was able to get one just close by and brought it into the restaurant. They have a wide variety of non-alcoholic drinks. Eventually, when the bill came through, it was not expensive at all. Overall, it was good value for money. I will definitely be visiting again

This is our 2nd visit, last time we had 9, this time 4. Food is fresh and well cooked, tastes good and decent portions. The man who runs this place is so polite and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble, genuine person. Give it a try.

Food great, the lamb shish kebab excellent. Service good with complimentary coffee and baclava. No licence but took our own wine and glasses were provided, a great night out and not too expensive.

Ordered a take away including chicken shish kebab with bulgar wheat, lamb ribs with rice and cold mezze. The chicken was very dry with a limp salad, the lamb ribs had little meat. The cold mezze was uninspiring to eat and hardly the tasty Turkish flavours we’d hoped for. Overall very disappointing and not good value for money.

Tried to order through Uber eats and both times the order was cancelled by them. I will not bother ever again.

There is always issues with this restaurant.Once they accepted my order on Uber eats then they cancelled it as you know Uber doesn't refunds money straight away which caused frustration.I called to ask them they haven't even apologised very disappointing.I was going to give another try today,I called them to ask what kind of soup they have as is not specified on Uber the gentleman just hung up the phone on me .I tried to call them multiple times it says line is busy .I am very disappointed as Turkish on their poor costumer service.

Ate there tonight with friends - great meal with lots of flavour and good selection of dishes. Service was attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend. We were able to stay seated chatting for a good time as well.

Went last night for dinner with friends. What a great little find! The service was great and the food lovely. We had a deal from Groupon for a 2 course meal. We had plenty of choice and they brought us extra bread which tasted lovely and is served warm. Just a note it’s bring your own drinks so we took wine and beer but they provide glasses.

What a lovely lunch. My friend and I visited for a two course lunch, snd we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were very well looked after by the very friendly staff and as they weren’t licensed we were able to take our own wine. More like a cafe vibe than a restaurant but great Turkish music added to the atmosphere. I’d definitely go back, great value and great food.

Unfortunately not the best experience with this restaurant. I have ordered a lamb ribs for main dish and half of the ribs was only fat, when I have complained about it to the chef about it he told me it does contains fat as well, asked him to take a look and he did and said it’s okey and can’t see my problem. My problem was I wanted to eat lamb meat and not just fat.

Authentic Turkish cuisine, Mezes was good accompanied with tasty fresh bread and its deserved the 3* . We should stop on it then . Our main dishes was dry and overcooked 1* , salad to salty , portion supposed to have 2 Adana kebabs according to menu , we just got one and some randomly added pieces of meat and tiny 2 tablespoon of rice ,absolutely nothing like pictures on Google. So I can't say the portions are generous at all , rather reduced by half , due to Groupon voucher. The voucher n its own costs £34 for £80 towards food, our bill was £115 for 5 people having 2 shared mix Mezes , 3 portiond of bread , 1 main tiny ,dry and overcooked meat + tablespoon of rice + salty lettuce with oil and can of drink each . Regardless of the discount , final bill in total covered 2x proper family mix grill we usually order from other place and having much more food ,grilled vegetables and loads of sauces ,rice etc . Absolutely not worth of price with and without discount voucher at all . Generally mixed feelings about food , but we had nice family meeting anyway twisted it to a joke . After some recommendations expected something better.

Took an online table booking for Sunday, my parents drove 30 minutes only to find the premises closed on arrival. Update your opening hours and your booking system. Terrible service.

We ordered lamb platter and chicken koft. They have taken more than 45 mins to serve just a half of our order and brought the rest later . The rice was cold and weird tiny pieces of cold meat which looked like leftovers. The koft wasn’t good as well. We only liked the bread and sauces. Really upset. Never coming back.

The 3 Course meal is just what it is, it's not a deal, the most you're saving is probably £1 - you get half the portion of Lamb Shish and half portions of the starter. Perfect if you're not hungry and want to stop for a snack. I tried the shish and mostly it was good, some pieces very chewy. So why 5 stars? The overall experience was as expected and does what it says well on the packet!

Whilst the setting is very basic with no frills, the same cannot be said for either the food or the restaurant owner. The owner was delightful, very welcoming and helpful. The food was superb, so tasty , fresh and the bread is freshly cooked every day by his mother. The meal was a Groupon voucher from our younger son and his wife and, far exceeded our expectations. We shall be visiting again and, will definitely be recommending to friends and family. Well worth a visit

An honest and humble restaurant serving excellent food. Not licensed but there is a shop very close with a great selection of beers and you are welcome to bring them in. Service is exceptional, prices are very good. I was very pleasantly surprised and would strongly recommend.

Lovely authentic Turkish restaurant - take away, this place is not luxury but the food is good. I was delighted with the menu, the service was nice and polite, the bread was delicious, they even do authentic Turkish coffee….. you can pay with card or cash.

Beautiful food! The place is very nice, I particularly liked the big room at the back with comy sofas. The food is very fresh and authentic. We were served by the owner, who is very nice and accommodating. Definitely will come back again and recommend it to anyone! Many thanks for such lovely experience!

My husband and I visited this place today, it was quite a bizarre experience..the place was not busy but the service was extremely slow.. we waited an hour for our food, very strange, because usually Turkish restaurants are so quick with service. The waiter was very sweet and friendly, and the chef was lovely too, the slow service sadly made us miss an important event.. The food was ok, usually Turkish food is so delicious, this wasn't that. We wouldn't want to return.

This restaurant is perfect. I am a regular customer, and I really love it there. They bake their own bread, which is really delicious, the meat is amazing, and the mezes are so good. Also, their homemade lahmacun is absolutely mouth-watering. The place is lovely. I do not understand some negative comments, which are absolutely ridiculous. How someone can write that the food is amazing and still gives one star is beyond my understanding.

Original charcoal Turkish kebab is delicious. Not a fake gas grill cooked meat. Turqusine cooks its own bread, lahmacun in the restaurant. Highly recommended for the original taste hunters.

I don't often post reviews but they really deserve these 5 stars. We were walking by and saw the 2 courses deal that looked like a bargain and decided to try it out. All the food was fresh, homemade and truly delicious. It was also a fairly good quantity as my girlfriend and mom weren't able to finish their plate. Also the gentleman who was serving us was super nice and friendly. I strongly recommend you try it out !

We just ordered a takeaway from here - really really disappointed! The meat was so dry we couldn’t eat the lamb. The portion size was small for what we paid and the chips were soggy. Also we ordered a dip which had a short black hair in..

I visited with my daughter for lunch on Saturday. It was a bit early, thus the place was not crowded. We were approached in a very friendly, familiar way: for us very pleasant as our family lives abroad. We ordered a meal each and were served 4 cold mezes. Among those, even if they were all amazing, I had the absolutely BEST tzatziki and hummus EVER, and I love them since I tasted them for the first time nearly forty years ago. Stunning texture, incredible flavour and the home made bread that came with the mezes was equally incredible! We than had a main, also absolutely delicious! Do I recommend? Wholeheartedly! Yes, yes, a hundred times hundred yes! Leaving I had part of my meal wrapped as it was too much for me, and I also bought 2 breads and some baklava. This is so far the best place I visited for Turkish/Armenian food. For the mezes I was too late, sorry! 😅 And the Baklava was gone before I got home, one of the nicest, crispiest I have ever tasted. Wonderful!

As a vegetarian I still find it hard to find something I like on menus but at Turquoise their falafel or halloumi meals are great. Good variety on the plate and fresh food well cooked. My husband and daughter enjoy the food just as much. Service is quiet and unobtrusive. Always helpful and welcoming. Only marked down on atmosphere so as not to appear to mark as 5 stars indiscriminately 😊

Not sure how we didn’t know about this place all this while. Meant to visit Meet Me Cafe and found it closed, so popped in next door. Loved the food and the service. The lunch Meal Deals for 2 and 3 course are absolute bargains. The hummus, shakshuka and suckuk were all amazing. We ordered one Chicken and one Lamb Kofta for our mains and both of them were cooked to perfection and served with a generous portion or rice, bulgur and salad. The bread served with starters were freshly baked. Overall had an amazing meal for circa £20 for two of us dining. Great food, good value for money, highly recommended. My favourite Turkish place in Maidstone hereafter.

Thought we would try this place for a light lunch. Saw the excellent value 9.99 offer online and thought it worth a look. Went in early lunch, only customers there but it was midweek, can imagine it could get busy in the evening. Ordered 2 £9.99 meal offers, bread with Tara and houmous was lovely, so good we ordered more bread ! Hot meze was ok (calamari), standard rings ( expected due to price), next time will try the Halumi. Lamb shish, with rice and bulgar, with fresh green salad in a nice dressing. All very fresh, well cooked and wonderful value, will definitely be returning. Hoping this business flourishes, as the staff were friendly and surrounding relaxed, decent place to chill out and have a great meal too.
