Historia Meze grill in Wycombe

The food was amazing and the virgin pina colada was my favourite! The staff were amazing, especially the owner Sibel, she made sure I had a great dining experience and the food came quickly! 10/10 will come again.

The flavours are great especially the wings and ribs and chops and is the best Turkish 🇹🇷 in town; we would highly recommend

coming from france and passing through the city, i was pleasantly surprised by the warmth and quality of the food. both the taste and the presentation were very well orchestrated. i strongly recommend this place.

We ordered mixed grill for two and one skewer lamb for our child. Lamb was the most delicious, chickens were tasty, Adana was fine. At the end, we ordered katmer and it was really succulent too! It’s a five star Turkish restaurant with justified prices.

Food, service and ambience 10/10. It’s been a long time since I enjoyed food that much. We got the door opened by the staff, got Turkish sweets in the end with fresh cleaning towels. All in all I highly recommend this place. Prices are also good!

Amazing and aromatic food, beautifully flavoured! The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated. The staff are attentive and efficient, and the food comes out very well presented. It was my birthday and our waiter suggested for me to try the ‘Katmer’ (pictured) and it was such a tasty dessert, I would eat it again (and again and again!) I would recommend Historia to anyone! 5/5 stars for me.

Lovely birthday celebration with excellent food, service and atmosphere. We had Aycen attending us on the table and she was brilliant, as were all the other staff we interacted with. Would highly recommend and this is a new favourite of ours in the area!

I ordered the Chicken Shish and Adana item and I am delighted. I received two meat skewers, which I sprinkled with lemon juice and poured with two sauces, which we also receive with the dish. In addition, two types of delicious rice, two pieces of fresh, warm bread in a flat form and a set of vegetables. The whole thing tasted absolutely amazing. I could not stop eating. I definitely RECOMMEND and I will definitely come back to taste the rest of the specialties of this restaurant. Keep it up!

Just cooked sea bass i bought from Morrisons. £2, reduced. Cooked as it was at this place. 8 mins both sides under medium grill. Lovely. One bone in my mouth. Ate all flesh. The one i had here. Every mouth i had big bones to extract from my mouth. Far too boney

Very good service and the food was really nice. I have to admit the prices for soft drinks are on the higher side. Would be good if the management offered more competitive pricing for drinks besides that I really can't fault it. Meat was cooked lovely, warm. Very fresh and succulent. Loved the complimentary bread. I'd defo come again!

We had dinner for comparison to another Turkish restaurant and this place exceeded in taste and service. Our waitress Neha was brilliant, friendly and helpful. We polished three courses which was very rare! Every single dish that we had were delicious, divine and delectable🤤🤤🤤 We had calamari, filo pastry and bread. For the main, I had lamb shish & Adana and the others shared Samara lamb baryeti with salad. It was so good! Planning to go back there very soon !!

This was one of my favorite meals of ALL TIME. The service was great and the food was unbelievable. We ordered the babaganoush and filo pastry starters. For mains, we shared ali nazik chicken shish and vegetarian kebab. And for dessert, we got the Turkish tea, baklava, and ferraro rocher ice cream. Every dish was 10/10, it’s hard to pick a favorite. Wish I had gotten better photos

Sarma Chicken Beyti's succulent chicken mince surrounded by bread off the charcoal was incredible and ideal to share. Such a refreshing Mint Tea. Exceptional service, relaxed with great music.

Had my birthday lunch here today and our meals were fantastic, perfectly cooked meats and I liked the classical names of the dishes too. Thanks for the birthday style brownie too. I am surprised this place isn't more busy, it was a Saturday lunchtime though.

Historia must be one of the best Turkish restaurants this side of Turkey, and is the best restaurant of any description in High Wycombe. Working in the area regularly, I'm made welcome every visit. The food is all delicious, though I nearly always go for the Ali Nazik Lamb Shish - tender, juicy, smokey lamb on a gorgeous bed of smoked aubergine. There are plenty of mouthwatering starters and delicious desserts too, and proper Turkish tea to finish.

We went as a family of 5 and had a great experience. The food was excellent (we ordered cold meze starters and mixed grilled meats), the waiters were attentive. Would highly recommend.

We had the ali nazik lamb shish and the Kunefe for dessert. Both were so delicious that we reckon it was better than the food we had in Türkiye! Will be back for sure.

Excellent quality food. Car parking is an issue as it's the town centre. I've been here so many times and would recommend the adana or kofte kebab.

The food was excellent! My Mum is a fussy eater and she was very happy with her lamb chops. I really enjoyed my kebab and the side salad was tasty and nicely dressed. We ordered several meze plates that were fun, including the Albanian liver, and I tried and enjoyed the Turkish tea. The staff were really friendly and we just really enjoyed our lunch. Looks like a good place to revisit!

By far the best and only real restaurant with quality food, absolutely worth the price. While inside its astonishing to think your actually still in Wycombe. 20 out of 10 from me the wife and our 2 children !

fabulous food here. Clean, tasty, friendly. Best quality lamb Ive had in ages, soft and tender not a chewy bit in sight. Chicken skewers, salad, lamb skewers, rice, everything was just spot on.
