I ate chicken breasts with fries. It wasn't fresh meat, it smelled strange. The next day I had food poisoning and diarrhea. I do not recommend

We have been in High Wycombe for a short visit to our relatives. As we walked past the kebab shop, we thought let's go and have something to eat in there. And that was the best decision we make during our stay. Very, very delicious food, good prices, and nicesed people behind the counter. Very friendly and helpful. We can definitely recommend this restaurant !!! All the food they serve is made fresh every day. My wife loved the chicken skewer, and my son and I had a kebab and that was mega too. We definitely will be back !!!! Greetings from Germany!

If you want a kebab which is covered in chunks of beef dripping then this is the place for you. If you don't like being given salad after asking for it then you will love this place

Ordered a large donner kebab online via JustEat. Arrived ontime, well cooked, right order etc. However, what I received was not large at all. There's probably more meat in a McDonalds hamburger. I'll stick to wandering down to the van at the end of my road.

All the deliveroo people are unhappy. This is a late night food van, obviously it’s not gourmet. All I know is that the chips are bangin’, and the fella who runs it is great

Clearly all the reviews on deliveroo are fake as this food was utter rubbish! Makes no sense to con people out of money vs learning to cook. Will never order again the most basic kebab no effort plain chicken grilled (dry) chucked in a pitta with shredded lettuce heres the proof. First and last order!

Rancid takeaway. Used to be good few years back but now it has freshies whos English is 3/10 at best. Ignore your dietary instructions. Fling any old rubbish into a box and give it to you. I was given pink chicken. When I complained…. They said ‘ OKi sorry boss, next time 2 free wings… like ??? I could have got food poisoning and your offering me 2 wings worth £1. I would highly recommend people avoid this place. These takeaways have raised the rates but food quality reminds dog food standard. Just not worth it anymore. Better and cheaper to cook at home or just go restaurant. Not these inbetween rip off merchants

Ordered a lamb doner, can only pick 1 salad, sauce I thought would be on the side instead covering whole dish, won't order again from here.

My son likes to treat me to a chicken shish , the food is always lovely and you get loads of salad with your meal , staff are always friendly, not a fancy place but always clean , good value for money

The griller person was most genteel and cordially professional ( a rarity in independent restaurant) and cooked the kofte and served it perfectly. The perperi wrap meal. Perfect chips but wish slightly but more. The wrap was great. Wrap was cold though. I'll ask for it warmed next time. Bin was overfull. Only one they need an extra bin and empty this one. Toilet. Smelly but clean just about. Let's the rest down these 2 things. Pleasure to eat in and relaxing in nice table and comfortable bench. I felt like in the Mediterranean in Turkey. Total it recommend this place. No paper menu so with took photo of the menu to help you. I want to try their menu one by one!

I have been coming here for 32 years and their food is great 95% of the time the chips are fresh and the meat always is… I have to bag them to give out enough tomato but the salad is always fresh and if you duck the pitta it’s a low calorie feast thanks guys

Absolutely disgraceful experience in this appauling dine in place. Zero people skills from the staff serving and they are cheaters. Give extremely small portions when i asked for large size and argued with me trying to convince me that they gave me large. They dont deserve a penny for that food really. Dont go here guys unless you want to be taken for a ride .

Food delivered was disgusting - asked & paid for large & everything that arrived was small, food was cold, no sauces that I requested arrived, meat tasted rubbery & chips were vile 🤮 Used this place for years but will never order from here again

Don't buy from there! The employees are too arrogant and the ratio between quality, quantity and price leaves much to be desired. You can eat much better elsewhere.

Ordered food via uber. Which they made no attempt to deliver. They said our address wasnt on the app which theyve confirmed and we told them its clearly on there. Uber cancelled our order and the shop won't give us our food even though they've taken the money. Told us to contact uber even though its not open currently. Worse customer service. Disgusting behaviour. Don't buy there food. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Made no attempt to help us at all. This is what its come too. Shop owners stealing money. Thieves!!!!

Just bought a Lamb kofe from this place it was gone within three fork fulls and it cost a fiver there was more salad then meat is never going there again don’t recommend

Calling anything from this place as 'food' is offensive. Don't get fooled by the bright lights and presentable store front. If I were Turkish- I would also be offended by the claim that the food is Turkish. Over cooked Mutton (it's not lamb- dont care what anyone says) or chicken- it doesnt matter its awful. I actually left my food. I told the guy behind the counter how horrible it was and he couldn't care less. Do yourself a favour- go across the road to Wycombe best kebab, or if you want even more authentic Turkish in Wycombe go down the road to Historia. This place is awful!

Ordered via uber eats, had two wraps and a burger. The wraps have no vegetables, just a little coleslaw, three chicken nuggets in each wrap. At least the burger was somewhat edible. Very disappointed.

We often use Dennis’s for a kebab which we collect with no problem, however, today we used them via Deliveroo and it was a nightmare!We ordered 2 portion of chips that were terribly undercooked, to the point they were inedible, we also ordered a spicy beef burger that turned up as an undercooked chicken burger, which I only realised after eating half of it! Rang the restaurant who initially hung up on us, entirely disinterested and then told us to ring Deliveroo.The whole experience has put us off using this place ever again!Buyers beware!

I ordered a fillet burger with salad and mayo which come with a bit of lettuce and mayo, strike 1. I also ordered the lamb donner, chicken shish, lamb shish and salad which according to the menu comes with chips and a drink, which I ordered a diet Pepsi, when the driver delivered the chips and drink were missing. I called the shop who denies they offer them on the menu and was told very rudely that I should call just eat. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I will not be ordering from here again, If its on the menu, on the website you should get it end of!!!!

Wrong order delivered, when correct order arrived chicken was under cooked rice was all glued together and tasted awful and the salad had seen better days. Very disappointed considering Iv'e had good food in the past.

I have just ordered 2 chicken wraps, 2 chicken doner wraps and salad pitta bread. I got half of the order wrong. Instead of chicken doner wraps I got lamb wraps. And instead of salad wrap they have just put chips on top of pitta in the box. And people serving were just quite rude and not showing any customer service, always arguing with us that what they have cooked is different from what we ordered. We had to repeat 3 times the order, still getting a wrong order in return. The experience of the food was quite disappointing, making me think that a £1 frozen food from Tesco would taste much better than £22 spent on this.

Food is good.....place itself is spacious and decent decor. However.....although the staff are polite...they ain't got a clue what they are doing. The guy on the till didnt have a clue and got several orders wrong including ours.

I would give 0 stars if I could! What a waste of money. I ordered through deliveroo app a chicken tikka and naan. It gives you the option to select the salad items you want. As I do not like salad, I only selected sweetcorn. Upon arrival, my kebab contained every salad item under the sun and NO sweetcorn! Can they read? Its a good job this wasn't because of severe allergies otherwise the outcome may have been very different. My husband had a chicken and lamb shish with salad. He said it was the worst kebab he has ever had. The meat was tough and dry and if it was a large, he would hate to see what a small was like. Absolutely terrible!!!!

This is a great kebab shop in the centre of High Wycombe. I've been here a number of times now following recommendations from friends and, to be honest, almost everyone I've asked for a kebab shop recommendation. I've had the lamb donner, chicken shish, burgers, chicken nuggets, chicken burgers and they have all been consistentently really good! The fries are also delcious and well worth a go. The staff are always really friendly and the shop is very clean. You can eat in or takeaway. The food is always freshly cooked to order in the impeccably clean kitchen. Apparently, they also have a kebab van nearby in the centre of the town. I've not eaten from here personally but I've heard it's even better than the kebab shop. Highly recommended!!!

The chef is very rude actually turned people away ...we asked for an itemized bill which he said he will give it to us and then declined to do so...no paper menu ...definitely not coming back because you can hear workers shouting and fighting at the back

The "gentleman" behind the till often makes his own prices up and when challenged apologises for this inconvenience. Food is generally satisfactory, but how hygienic can a place be when it reeks like cigarettes and hookah fumes which is sold on the floor above. I'd recommend you do not dine in but take away at this establishment.

Hi I will never come back to Dennis again, Wednesday at 1 in the afternoon, I saw a Rat that was in the kitchen, I informed the owner , he said don't worry about it, after few mins there were three more rats, the owner then got a broomstick which he was trying to get them out. i was disgusted and I didn't bother waiting for my food. I have informed the council. I will not return to this place again.

Chicken shish here is pretty good, the price lets it down. The chicken is fresh, but very dry, could do with a better or longer marinade. The shisha lounge above is very good.

It's average no flavours in anything I've had twice it's too expensive if you look at the quality and flavour of the food wouldn't go again. It is only for people doesn't like a bit of spice in food way too bland.

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS JOKE OF A PLACE. If I could put ZERO stars then I would. VILE service, the food I ordered had a dead fly in with the cucumber, and when I phoned them they rudely shouted down the phone ‘you’re talking rubbish’ ‘you’re a liar’ and slammed the phone down on me. NEVER buy food from this place, absolute joke.

Best takeaway in wycombe but still not as good as a home cooked meal

excellent kebabs, rice, chips. Either sit in or takeaway the food is generous in portion size and hot.

After a week of meetings, my colleagues enjoyed hanging together in the upstairs covered shisha lounge. Some of us smoked and some just enjoyed soft drinks (no alcohol). Chill music, easy atmosphere. Not something I would do every day but very nice.

Popped in for a mixed kebab on naan bread...it was the best we'd both had. Fresh, tasty and absolutely gorgeous. The staff were friendly and the place was outstandingly clean, we definitely recommend it and will certainly be going back if we're in the area again!

This is just another kebab shop, nothing more. Sometimes the food was ok but on 2 occassions I had serious diarrhea and vomit.

Visited Dennis's on a recommendation from a friend who lives in High Wycombe as we were buying a car from there. Having travelled a 100 miles we were hungry and upon the recommendation we ordered from Dennis's, my friends ordered a chicken shawarma in pitta and I ordered a tower burger meal which has a hash brown thrown into the mix. The guy that served us was weird, we asked for mayo on our food, he had none left at the front of shop at which point he went to the back of the kitchen and came back 8 minutes later with a bottle of mayo, must be a big store for him to be rummaging around for a bottle of mayo for 8 minutes, by which time our food was going cold and when he finally returned with the mayo he decided to serve another customer while stalling again on my burger.

Whilst choosing the toppings on my donner kebab (onions, tomatoes etc.) the man that was serving me was rude and told me to "Hurry up!". Rude staff, good food but expensive!

Good quality meats and fresh salads

Visited here late on Thursday night, wanted quick bite so decided to dine here. Service was decent and the food was well cooked.

Popped in here having arrived late evening in the nearby travelodge. Very friendly, and happy to do be a box of salad to go with the doner. Quality and price were ok, but no more. Probably best visited after a few drinks......

Visited earlier. Had the mixed grill on naan = £6.50. The chicken & lamb were ok but the donned meat was greasy. Nothing special. Nice spacious layout. Clean toilets.

Dennis's is a bit of an institution in Wycombe,, one coming from West London I did not really know about, but the old shop, although run down, was always spotless and he food was good - he actually does a wicked burger!

Best chicken doner. Great value. The new shop looks decent. I haven't tried the shisha but I would recommend the food

Suelo ir a Dennis es porque es el mejor Kebabs en la ciudad. El Doner puede ser un poco grasiento pero la Hay y pollo son geniales. Siempre ensalada fresca y selección de salsas diferentes.

I'm a new student in High Wycombe and I never really feel the appeal for a kebab ever when I am drunk. I normally just stumble home and munch on what ever I can get my hands on. But the option of having a kebab van (2 of them for that matter!) literally a 2 minute walk from the Student Union is amazing. I often visit Dennis and have a good laugh with him whilst waiting for my order. Normally I have a doner meat and cheesy chips. I have never had a problem with this. And for the money which I am paying (£5) you can't really go wrong. On the odd occasion Dennis would also give me a free can of pop. Which I think is a good deal. I have also always noticed that they serve people really fast and somehow the orders always come out correctly!

I would recommend a mixed kebab or chicken tikka from Dennis'. For me I find that the lamb donor is rather salty for my liking but the freshly cooked mixed or chicken tikka kebab with salad, peppers and chilli sauce is very satisfying.

It was about 8pm and I felt like eating a kebab which is very unusual for me.The owner was rather detached and appeared to not understand customer service.The kebab was absolutely awful, especially as it cost £6.70. and tasted really horrible.Will not be visiting this place again. We had made the journey into High Wycombe as our local butcher's in Gerrards Cross was out of foie gras and we thought we might be able to pick some up at the large Sainsbury's. Sadly, they didn't have any either and so alternative dinner plans had to be made. We called Sharon, our housecleaner and a resident of Wycombe, to ask her if she could reccommend anywhere in the Frogmore quarter. "Well guv'nor," she said, "when my Wayne get's 'is giro 'e usually takes me down to Dennis's for a kebab. It's right proper good daan there, it is. Tell 'em Shazza sent yer and 'e'll give yous a free Dr Pepper."So, off we trotted down to Dennis's, and we were jolly glad we did! Neither of us had tried "kebab" before, but we pleased to see that it's obviously a very healthy delicacy - everyone in the establishment was wearing tracksuits, obviously having just arrived from the gym. If all these health-conscious young sportsmen and women were eating it, it must be good for you!Now, we'd never had Turkish food before, but if this is representative of their national cuisine then we shall definitely be looking into purchasing a villa in Anatolia! We each decided to be daring and order the most typically Turkish dishes on the menu: I chose the "Doner Kebab" (shredded horse meat and cabbage coated in mayonnaise and wrapped in pita bread) and the wife opted for the "Cheesy Chips with Burger Sauce". We were both most impressed with the quality of the food, as well as its presentation: Turkish food is traditionally served in a yellow polystyrene container which, I believe is a result of the Greeks having smashed all their plates during the Great War. It was a most novel experience and has certainly given us a great anecdote to tell the Jordan-Rowells and their next dinner party!10/10: Great value, traditional Turkish fare! We shall definitely be back!

Been eating kebabs from here for years & they were the best kebabs in town but they have really gone downhill. The meat is still tasty but it is so greasy when you pick it up the pitta bread is just soaked in grease & you can't eat it. Because it is so greasy it also doesn't feel great in your stomach. I won't be going back here again.

Se vc já comeu kebab no Brasil, esqueça pois aqui é bem diferente, além da carne no espeto giratório que aqui chamamos churrasco grego (e pouca gente tem coragem de comer) lá vc encontra opções grelhadas na chapa, servidas no pão pita, com legumes, temperos, maionese, uma delicia. Vale a pena provar a opção feita com carne de Lamb exótica e muito gostosa.

dennis's have the best kebabs and value for money. sometimes a treat for us and always given a warm welcome, waiting time about ten minutes as cooked from fresh. always worth a visit and you can eat in or take away.

Our Sunday night treat - always great and friendly service. Doner kebabs are huge, recommend if you are feeling peckish.
