Amazing family owned business, excellent food, very clean, good prices.

The food really is as good as they say. Chicken wings were delightful, chicken skewers tender, the lamb chops and cubes dune just right. The meat plate came on a pile of rice with side of chips. Salad, pita bread and sauces perfect complements. Perfect meal for the family!

The Skewer my new favourite best Turkish Restaurant that reflects the Turkish culture in the most beautiful and delicious way. We had a lovely dinner with my colleagues and really enjoyed the delicious food for very reasonable prices, fresh home made sauces, food, salads wonderful breads and dips the meat is tender, juicy and perfectly cooked the quality of food is simply amazing. Such a good service, and warm atmosphere with attentive, helpful and wonderful staff. Will be back again soon with my family as well.

Everything is made fresh from scratch, excellent quality meat, the lamb shish is busting with flavour, flavours here are not overpowering as I've found in many places, including the sauces, they've got the flavours right here, plus there's a choice of pitta or wrap, their fresh made bread is a delicious bonus. Good size portions, good prices, exceptional customer service (as good as it gets), a family run business full of thoughtful, kind and attentive staff, who are happy to let us play our card games and relax, staff are superb.

This restautant is golden! The Lamb Beyti was great as it was so juicy and seasoned well. Personally, it was my favorite meat out of all of them. I do not typically like chicken but the chicken here tasted great and was exceptionally seasoned. The fries were satisfying too, and tasted good with or without salt (I had both). They were not too soft nor too hard. I wish they had more sauce options but when you have food this good, you really won't need anything else. We got take out, but when we stopped inside, the interior looked great, it had modern decor, nice lighting, and an open view. The only thing better than the food was the man that made it. Me and my sister had a warm conversation with him and he showed great hospitality. I'm glad the brunch joint we intended to eat at was closed because we hit a gold mine with the food here!

Absolute favourite. Owner was super attentive. Food was amazing, hot and fresh every time. We had wings, mix doner, chicken doner with rice and chips. Highly recommended.

A nice cafe style restaurant with a kebab shop twist. The place itself is nicely decorated, the large glass windows add lots of light. The place is nice and clean. The food is good and the service is very good. They are also very friendly and professional. It's just a little expensive for a kebab 🥙.

Ordered via just eat. Owner called to ask what we would like on the wraps to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The wraps themselves were delicious, not greasy at all which I would almost expect from donner meat. Really tasty, looking forward to ordering again!

Really good kebab place! The quality of the meat is really good and the kebabs are VERY flavourful. There’s really good variety and the portions are really good too, for the large kebabs, with reasonable price. The baklava and Turkish tea is amazing too. Deffo better than most kebab places

My go to for a lovely Turkish meal. They have all the basics for a late night kebab, but also a great spot to sit down for a simple and tasty meal. Fish, chicken, lamb… fun staff too.

Phenomenal food. As someone who eats a lot of Turkish food, this place is one of the best spots in London. It is rare to find lamb shish cooked so perfectly. Great, friendly service and staff. I look forward to seeing returning. Will certainly become a staple!

This place is amazing! GG and Ali are lovely and recommend amazing dishes. We looked at the menu, but wanted to kind of look around to see what we could both agree on before choosing somewhere, read the menu and turned to leave. Ali called us back to have a taste of the chargrilled lamb on the grill - we ate it and immediately sat down 😌 Freaking yum.

OMG what a great meal & legit, the service is great! GG made us feel very welcome & ensured that we were happy with everything ... We had the falafel with salad & the lamb doner ... So good! I love The Skewers (it used to be called Petra and I loved it then too). The food is delishy and the people who work there are really nice and welcoming. The salad is always super fresh!!! At my most recent visit I dined in (in the past I've also done take-away). I got a quarter pound burger and chips for just £6.50! I think this is an amazing bargain (and it's cheaper without chips). The kebab and shish cost more, but I feel that you get more food in those dishes.

It’s not often you find a 5 star kebab house, but this is definitely one of them. The food was brilliant - meat was great quality, extremely succulent and they didn’t skimp on the salad! Definitely recommend for your (much) better than average late night kebab.

First time we had this a few weeks ago, the food was really nice, I had lamb ribs and my friend had lamb chops. Very tasty and fresh. Service was great.

Got a small mixed lamb and chicken shish, £14.80, straight away, didn’t take the pitta bread as I can’t eat it, but no extra salad or rice was given, ordered rice anyway and it was plain hard boiled rice, definitely not turkish and definitely had no flavour. As for the kebab itself, the chicken was lovely and tender and you could taste the different herbs, the lamb shish was over cooked and apart from 1 piece it was extremely fatty, at least my dog had enjoyed it. !! I asked for a pot of chilli sauce and garlic sauce, they forgot to give me the chilli pot? Don’t come to london very often, but will absolutely not ever venture near here again

Seemed friendly, brought a lamb doner wrap it was absolutely awful. Every bite was fatty and tough having to pick out most bits from my mouth whilst trying to eat. In the end i threw half of it away.

Great place. Friendly family run place. Ever need a late munch this is the place to go. Had the lamb Shish wrap. Lamb cutlets were tender and was marinated well. Salad was fresh and crisp. 2 thumbs up from me

I have ordered from this restaurant before and the food was fine. This time I spent almost £30 and the quality of the food was extremely poor. The chicken and lamb meat tasted really bad. The meat was also mixed in with the chips rather than separate (to make it look like there was more meat than there was). The chips themselves looked and tasted undercooked and were very oily. I won't be ordering from here again. I am a little surprised by all of the 5 star reviews.

The Skewer is hands-down the best doner and the best Turkish food on Cally (or anywhere near it) as far as I’m concerned. The family who runs the restaurant is absolutely lovely, too! Would absolutely recommend them to anyone :)

We ordered the family menu for collection, the chef and his family are very hardworking friendly people. My family's favourite was the bulgar rice, chicken wings, chicken shish and the mix döner. They make the döner fresh it's not processed and you can taste the difference from an ordinary kebab shop. Would differently go again.

Quality food for reasonable prices nice atmosphere

I came here last night to break my fast. The staff were great and the service was impeccable. I had my favourite turkish restaurant food of grilled wings and rice along with hummus and bread. I'm not from the local area but will definitely hit this place again if I happen to be around.

OH MY GOD , this is the only kebab place i will be going from now on, I had the Lamb ribs from there, the perfect flavour, perfectly cooked, just writing this my mouth is watering, I am literally coming here again later today after I write this review! Had shish the first night, tasted amazing. Came back for a second night and had the lamb chops, incredible. Will be coming back (get the coffee)

Came in for a late night meal after a long day. They were very accommodating for my late night mixed doner request to eat in. Despite offering pitta bread or a wrap initially, I appreciated them offering rice too, which some places do not do. Turkish tea is available too. Family run, very polite and an overall great local gem.

One of the guys came over and sat with us and was really making my family laugh just amazing. The food is WOW!!! The portions are not small the pricing is the best yet. All I can say is thank you for making it such an amazing visit for us we will be seeing you again.

Quality lamb shish and adana and good portions

I've been to this place to never come back ever again in my life as I was treated like rubbish. The owner prepares the food and he put on my table without cutlery and napkin. How we are supposed to eat and clean the hands? I needed to beg for cutlery and napkins. After that, I went to pay for the horrible food they offer, and his daughter who has the lips full with dermal filler, she was rude to me and wanted to charge more than the price advertised on display. What a terrible experience at this place! I am not used to be treated like garbage especially because it wasn't a free service. Most place I go, I receive at least a decent approach, but not at this place. After I left, I felt sick and I felt like vomitting everything I ate. Furthermore, all the other reviews are clearly fake, only a silly person will believe on the high amount of 5 stars, especially because this place is not a 5 star small restaurant since they can't even be welcoming to new customers. I regretted entering this place.

My second time around. First time I came for a late lunch on a Saturday and today I went back for dinner with friends. Each time the food was really good. For dinner we ordered the family special there was too much food for 4 people. On top of that, every single component of the platter was utterly delicious. A big surprise for me for a kebab place. I tend to distrust them. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and not at all overwhelming as somebody said in a review below.
