The selection of lamb, chicken, and köfte was grilled to perfection—tender, juicy, and infused with rich, smoky flavors. Each bite showcased the perfect balance of spices, with a delicious char that added depth without overpowering the natural taste of the meat. The generous portion is perfect for sharing, though you might not want to! Complementing the mixed grill was an outstanding variety of cold meze. The creamy hummus, tangy cacık, spicy ezme, and silky baba ghanoush were fresh, vibrant, and packed with authentic flavors. Served with warm, fluffy bread, each dish was a perfect introduction to the rich culinary traditions of Turkey. Olive Tree is a place where quality ingredients, expert preparation, and genuine hospitality come together. Before going here I put a special request on the special requirements a month before booking which was a table in the quieter part of the restaurant so me and my partner got there on the specific evening for our meal which I asked I had a special requirement to be told sorry we cannot do that !! They had plenty of time to arrange it for us so Why have a special requirements section if you cannot fulfil them or be contacted before and at least have a email/message saying sorry that cannot be done ! Complete waste of time with that we did have our meal there but we will not be returning .

I loved the ambiance at ‘Olive Tree’ Restaurant in Milton Keynes. General Manager Mr Goktug is very welcoming and helpful. The decor is stylish and music is lovely, the atmosphere is amazing. We had Chilled Mezzes with Sharing Platter and enjoyed very much. We will be coming back with family and friends. Cheers 😋🙏🏻

Great food and so much of it! ...got hungry just taking in the aromas. Expensive but well worth it, also great service and quick too. The viewing widow into the kitchen area was fascinating to watch as busy staff / Cooks prepared and served food. Great place to eat and Socialise, Party, Birthday bash ( staff celebrate the Birthday person at table) .

The food was great and atmosphere fine, though the speaker was very loud. The problem was that they brought 2 out of our 3 main courses whilst we were still eating our starters. And insisted on taking away the starters. Presumably, pushing to get our table free for someone else. Our 3rd persons main course arrived quite a few minutes after the other 2.

I have been coming to this restaurant for some time with my family and friends and sometimes takeaway and every time the expreience is of the highest level of excellence from the food, staff,atmosphere,service and warm welcome every time. The manager is excellent and Lindsey lovely lady that came to my pharamacy in the Whitehouse Jardines where i work. Keep going and delivery excellence,i have recommended it to alot of people.

Came to Olive Tree for a Christmas party and had an excellent experience. Our waitress Derya was so accommodating and Goktug was so great with our party of 40 people! Would highly recommended both the food and service.

Nothing short of a great restaurant and the service by Derya, Goktug and team were amazing. I personally had a medical emergency and they went above and beyond to look after me and ensure I was ok cannot thank them enough. Also checking up on me throughout, thank you so much!

Slow service and wasn't attentive (although it was Xmas) table of 12-15 and we expected more

Unfortunately I didn't get any photos, 😩. 9 of us went. Service was great. Food was amazing!! Very very tasty. Price worked out around 45 quid pp including drinks and desserts. Live music plus the occasional birthday song. 🎂 Definitely recommend. I'll get photos when I go back in the near future. 👍🏼

On Christmas eve we've visited Olive Tree, and it was a fantastic experience! The portions were incredibly generous and absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Inci, was outstanding—so friendly and attentive, providing fast and excellent service. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!

We’ve visited Olive Tree a few times over the years and it was brilliant, but our last visit was terrible. Meeting with friends, we booked a table for 8 people. They tried to shove us into a booth for 6, saying it would be fine as we had children in our party… After we complained, we got a table for 8. The service then was also mixed. The food came quickly enough, but found we were waiting for crockery and cutlery to be replenished, and as a result food getting cold. Really disappointed, and won’t be going back.

In the such a busy period like December I would like to thank all staff for being helpful from the entrance. Especially I would like to thank our waitress Daria who went the extra mile with her job, and made my colleague special moment for her birthday. Food was delicious, my Seabream was fantastic!

I had a dinner catch-up with my friend, and Oliver Tree's Turkish food never let me down. It was generous food and good service, especially from the waitress, Iran, who was very friendly and attentive.

Inci, our waitress, was absolutely fantastic. So attentive and great with kids and I could tell she genuinely cares about customers having a good overall experience. Food was delicious too!

Food is always good & very tasty. The restaurant was very busy (pre christmas). Very noisy restaurant. The noise level is such that the only part of the background music you can hear is the annoying thudding of base beats. Not enough staff for volume of diners/tables leading to poor service following initial menu & drinks ordering, having to catch staff on the run for subsequent drinks & desserts. Always busy in the evenings but the menu & food is good.

Such lovely food, drinks and the staff are friendly and accommodating especially our waitress Imran. My mum has a lot of allergies and intolerances and they catered to all her requirements without any bother.

Had dinner with my siblings. Iram served us. She was super amazing. Her mocktail and dessert recommendations were spot on. The food tasted so good and it was a wonderful evening. We look forward to visiting again.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the place was about half full. We checked before we went to ensure there were tables available. This is a favourite restaurant with our friends. The staff are very polite and helpful. The food was all good quality, well presented and good value. We didn't have to wait long to be served and the food was nice and hot. We had the sharing platter and mixed grill. The meat was delicious and there was an option of rice or chips with an accompanying salad which had a lovely light dressing. We had the sundae and cheesecake for dessert and both were delicious! There is parking outside which you can pay for via an app. We will definitely visit again!

Awful. The starter was tasteless and looked like a plate of baby food. I was expecting aubergine. The main course a lamb dish didn't have much flavour and was served cold. Service was terrible. Complaint's were made to staff who didn't seem to care. I spoke to the manager who comp'd the drinks bill for the whole party and sent more drinks over however I don't expect to go out to dinner and go home and make a cheese toastie because I was hungry. Scored 1 because I couldn't give a minus score.

Extremely rude manager! We were told me have 1 hour to dine because we didn't book a table, bare in mind we had 2 kids with us. Should have talked away but we were new to the area and kids were hungry. The food was OK, however the waitress was very nice.

Such a wonderful place! Great food (and very reasonably priced), great atmosphere and marvellous to spend time in. I'm a regular visitor, along with many of my friends and colleagues, because it's so good. Staff are lovely too and service is super-quick. Don't miss it if you're in the area.

Group of 15 attended. We ordered from the Christmas and a La carte menus. Half of us ordered the olive tree special and the portion sizes ranged from toddler to sumo. Some went home peckish!The food was dry, overcooked and bland and we had to ask for sauce. vegetarians said the food was edible but nothing special. The Christmas pre order menu was expensive and no one got exactly what they ordered. Lively atmosphere and attentive staff with plenty of parking (paid/free after 6.30pm). Disappointing experience overall.

The starter and the main were alright, nothing to shout home about, the portions were good but oh my god the pistachio cake for dessert was absolutely delicious. The happy birthday song they sang in Turkish for the customers was quite sweet, but it did get a bit annoying after a while. They did it 12 times whilst I was there, I counted 😂

Very cozy and warm place. Food was absolutely delicious, I would say surprisingly new taste of prawns (would like to have the recipe from chief chef). Special thanks for stuff Iram, she’s was very nice and served quick! Definitely recommend for everyone who wants a good, healthy and quick meal!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience eating here with my colleagues from work. For starters, I had the Mushroom Sauté with mozzarella - an incredible combination of flavors, perfectly portioned, and not too strong on my palate - perfect. I paired this with a Becks beverage that tasted just like real beer but without the alcohol - as i had to drive home later. For the main course, I chose the Mediterranean Wrap with halloumi and falafel. It was very filling and came with a tangy, refreshing salad on the side that complemented the dish beautifully. Alongside this I ordered a Ginger beer, which was something different and added to the unique experience. It wasn’t like a normal ginger beer that you would find at a supermarket, it had fermented extracts which was a nice touch, helping me digest my big meal. Although the handmade desserts looked absolutely delicious, by now I was too full to try them. Instead, I finished my meal with a Turkish tea, which was unlike any tea I’ve ever tasted - fragrant and served in a charming, traditional curved glass - loved it! The atmosphere was great, with live music which created a warm and inviting vibe in the restaurant. Lastly I would like to add, the attentive service by the Turkish waitresses made the evening even more special!

Very yummy foods nice and clean extremely friendly staff

I went there for a lunch with my children and friends. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. They gave my daughter crayons to draw and later she got a free dessert. I highly recommend this place, we felt really welcomed with the children and we had a lovely time.

Having travelled from Ashford, Kent we decided to have dinner at the Olive Tree and I would 100% recommend eating at this restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive, thank you Venky for your hospitality. The atmosphere was beautiful and they have the most vibrant Happy Birthday song too. Happy birthday to their customer. Alhamdulillah I can confidently say this is the best Turkish food I've eaten and knowing it is my favourite cuisine, I will definitely be visiting again, InshaAllah. Thank you for a wonderful evening and delicious food.

I visited Olive Tree last Thursday and the food was absolutely delicious. My overall experience was spot and I do need to give a special mention to the waitress Inci, I think that’s her name. She went above and beyond and after having a few requests she accommodated them with no problem and remained friendly throughout and made sure we was looked after! Will definitely be visiting again soon.

We celebrated our 2nd year anniversary here and had an amazing time. The service was quick, considering how busy it was on a Saturday evening, we were served ver quickly to the point that our main meals were ready before we finished our starter. The waiter service from Venka was amazibg, he prepared us a cute chocolate brownie as a token of our anniversary. Thank you Olive Tree! Great ambience, lots of birthday celebrations, loved it 😀 ❤️

Best Turkish place I’ve been to in a while. Food is good, the bread is a highlight! Waiters are quick and efficient. Parking is relatively easy if it’s not a busy night. Definitely a place to keep coming back to.

I visited the restaurant on the 3/11/24, the food was so over priced and the portion was extremely small. I use to visit this establishment regularly before but the price seems to be going higher and higher. Was really disappointed about the quantity Service was good

Absolutely brilliant, Love the food, the service was very good and the food came out quick and was on point with everything il be visiting It again when am next in Milton Keynes

Food was good. The restaurant was full of people, that says a lot. There were a lot of service personnel, they were constantly scurrying between the tables. But I didn’t like the level of their service. The appetizers were brought very quickly. After that, we started waiting for the main course. About 20 or even 30 minutes passed, the waiters kept passing by, not bothering to say that the main course would be later, or to ask if everything was okay. I asked the waitress when the food would be. The waitress left and never came back and didn’t comment on it in any way. When I asked our waiter, a young man (waiters don’t have badges, I don’t know his name), where our food was, he waved me off (!!), showing with his whole appearance that he was serving another table. I went to him myself and finally he apologized, saying that the kitchen was overloaded. In the end, the food was brought right away. The hot dishes are very large, I advise you to order for two, or not to order the appetizers. First, they also bring a free appetizer. But the overall impression was spoiled by the ill-mannered and impolite service staff.

Fantastic food and cocktails with very attentive staff

The Olive Tree is conveniently located on the main road near Milton Keynes station, with plenty of parking available (though it's paid). When we arrived, there was no one to greet us, and we had to ask a waitress if we could take a table. It was a Thursday evening, and while not packed, the restaurant was fairly busy. The Turkish music playing added to the ambiance, but it was a bit too loud, making conversation difficult. The staff seemed a bit distracted and weren't particularly friendly, but service was quick. I ordered a glass of white wine, which unfortunately tasted a bit sour. To start the meal, they offer complimentary bread with dips, which was a nice touch. The food itself was just okay. I enjoyed the chicken shish, but the chicken sarma had a strange taste and was overly spicy for my liking. The halloumi fries were delicious and very well prepared. We also ordered chilled mezes, but since they were pre-made, we couldn't make any adjustments—like leaving out the garlic from the cacik, for example. The portions were huge, which is a plus, but the baklava we took away had an odd taste and wasn't particularly enjoyable. All in all, while the food had its moments, this wasn’t the best Turkish restaurant I’ve been to, and the experience was a bit disappointing.

Without any doubt, this is the best restaurant in Milton Keynes, the service team and the restaurant atmosphere gives that restaurant a unique experience that you won't forget. I want to call out Hakan who always goes above & beyond to make sure we have an awesome & enjoyable experience.

Had a wonderful meal for my daughters 15th birthday. It's a Thursday at 6.00 and we had a fabulous meal. It was clean and all the staff were warm and friendly. They surprised us with a fountain candle in chocolate fudge cake singing happy birthday. The whole restaurant joint in. Lovely touch. The platter for 4 is certainly a great variety and was an adequate serving. Well done Guys

The food was nice and well prepared, the servers were all attentive and did great jobs serving us and the food came out really promptly. The restaurant was really busy so they did a great job to keep up. The only annoying aspect was the happy birthday music that blared out 4-5 times whilst we were there and made it difficult to have a conversation but only a slight thing for an otherwise great meal.
