The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Turkish food

We used to get this dish and it was plentiful but not anymore. The price has gone up and the meat and chicken content has dropped dramatically. Also the rice is much less. We won't be buying this again as it's just a waste of money. Shame

I’m a huge fan of the Melissa in Edgware so I thought to try out the harrow branch. The food was decent and tasted fresh and the service was generally good. But the staff need some additional training. I had a pram and was alone and coming into the restaurant the waitress could see me struggling with the pram but stared rather than come to help me by opening the door. The same happened on the way out. Again, I wouldn’t be too bothered if they are busy but only 3 tables were dining. The staff were just standing on the side but no one helped me. That left a bad taste in my mouth and I would not return. I think they are also pricier than the Edgware branch.

Everything was flawless. It’s clear that Azad and his team are passionate about what they do and are committed to giving their customers a great experience. What could have been just a bad memory has turned into one of the best dining experiences I’ve had, all thanks to Azad’s professionalism, kindness, and dedication. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending Etci Mehmet to others. Huge thank you again to Azad and the team—you really went the extra mile!

Great service and absolutely amazing food. Had a wonderful night and was well looked after and the food is truly amazing. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble and the amount of food you get is well worth it. Will visit again if we return to Stratford

The food at this place was really nice as expected. The portion sizes were big too making the meal better value for money. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Ordered a takeaway and they cancelled the order at the time it was due to be delivered for no reason - poor Update: looks like the dodgy uber eats driver robbed my food. Thank you for the response, I’ve updated my review to reflect the update until I’ve eaten there

We had not booked but the Manager & bar staff were very helpful & accommodating. So glad they were as rhe food was fantastic.

the pide dough is great, the döner kebab filling is balanced and super tasty. Service is also great !

Very friendly staff, had the Chicken Shish to takeaway which was nice but very average, Salad could have been much fresher and the pitta was very plain which I could have just pulled out my freezer, the desert was a nice touch but a decent flat bread and a fresh more exciting salad to go with the chicken and rice would make it much better
