My sister and her boyfriend, Rob and Grace have been ranting abour this pkave for years, they brought me here tonight, i met Chris and Dio andhe lovely staff, Rob and Grace were right thr food is out of this world, i had the mixed kebab and loved it, really look forward to coming here again

We arrived with friends. Very warm welcome. Excellent meat

Awful. Pathetic service. Food allergies not taken into consideration even though the restaurant had prior notification. The wrongly prepared meal was charged for. One meal had been forgotten. We will NEVER visit again.

The food was ok imo but definitely had much better. Went on a Saturday around 5pm with no reservations he gave it a thought and squeezed us in. The pork souvlaki dinner description says it comes with a salad which i think was more of a garnish. I was expecting at least a garden salad. Great amount of meat but sides are a bit light. If this was fixed it’d be much better.

Absolutely disgusting arrogance and one the worst restaurants we've ever visited. Christakis is over priced and hyped unfortunately. Party of 15 and everyone had been served rubber reheated cheap meats, Manager wasn't interested, no wonder they keep closing down all over Liverpool then reopening elsewhere!! Inadequate dishes not worth the money when there's better restaurants around. service was slow and not acceptable, I wonder hmrc have any idea what there up too?? companies house many folded restaurants under the same name I can only imagine it's the owner not paying his way towards business taxes🤫

Phoned to book for the mid week early evening menu, as advertised on the Internet. It's discontinued so heading for a cheap tea elsewhere.

Food was lovely but portion size has been reduced since our last visit which was a little disappointing :( The staff as usual were lovely and attentive so I can’t fault them there <3 The starter & main deal for £15 has been discontinued which would be okay if portion sizes remained the same but now it’s less food for a higher price. The atmosphere is very chill and comfortable for an early dinner :) Uncertain whether we’d return!

Great restaurant with friendly staff. Brilliant atmosphere, with an exceptional menu. Certainly recommend and hopefully plan to visit again when we return to Liverpool.

Love Christakis,went for a works celebration for my birthday, food kept coming, meat platters, fish platters, hummus nice bread, was stuffed, service was friendly and quick 😋

Had a meal at Christakis last night and can't fault it. We had the meat platter for 2 which was delicious and great value for money. The service was also great , with staff being attentive and friendly at all times. We will be back.

Honestly brilliant, £20 for a good Meze in 2024 is an absolute bargain, food is great, service is great, Baklava was 👌 We will be back.

To start off the food was absolutely brilliant but the service was far from good. We were taken straight to our table and promptly had our drinks taken and orders by a waiter who seemed lovely. That was the last we’d seen of our waiter, other than having our starter and mains plates cleared up, we received no other service. We spent close to 30 minutes trying to get the attention of the waiters to have a look at the dessert menu. I understand that waiters are set to their areas or specific tables, however our original waiter and other waiters seemed to ignore our table. We saw every table around us served promptly, asked about how their meal was and two even received their bill before us even though we came in much earlier. It got to a point where we started feeling our experience go down significantly as I had to go up to the bar to ask for a dessert menu, which unluckily wasn’t to our taste, however we didn’t care at that point. After going up, the waiter finally appeared so we asked for the bill, but to round things off, we received the wrong bill. Upon receiving the correct bill, I asked for the card machine and the waiter read the cost of the bill in front of me and my partner and personally I would prefer not to have my partner know the cost as it was obvious I was going to pay. The food generally here is quite good and the price is fair. However, the service was extremely poor for me was was made worse as every other table around us got served promptly.

We went at 3pm for the early bird special - a starter and a main for £10! What a steal 👌🌟 the chicken kebab was so juicy and well seasoned. The halloumi option had grilled vegetables and a tasty sauce too. There were plenty of options to choose from - I’d recommend the spring rolls for a starter (they’re cheese in filo pastry with honey) - so tasty.

Staff were so helpful and could not have done more for us. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Excellent food, and the service is courteous and friendly. However, they did get our order wrong ~ twice! Even so, don't be put off. This is one of the best Greek restaurants that you will find.

Visited for the first time on Tuesday at 7pm, we weren’t disappointed. You can’t beat there starter and a main £10 deal (only available during the times listed). We had hummus, feta cheese spring rolls and chicken kebab. The food was top class and portions were big enough. All the staff were very friendly and you can tell it’s a good place to work. Considering the cost of living has gone up, it’s nice to be able to go out and eat somewhere which isn’t going to rip you off like other places. This place was top class and we will definitely be back.

What an a amazing experience. We've paid £18 per person and we could not eat everything that came. A lot of tasty food for an amazing price. We've ordered the Greek Meze, and I would recommend the plate to everyone that is not familiar with Mediterranean food, as you can try a little bit of everything.

Food was plentiful and tasty, I have rated it 3 stars due to grease on floor by barbie area. I had an awful fall and thought I had broken my wrist, legs went from under me and I was only wearing flat boots. I was out for family meal and had minimal alcohol. What upset me more was that Mangerment did not ask me if I was ok, they couldn't wait to get me out. Just watch how you go and where you step here especially near barbie area. Would never return.

My meal came early but my other family members had to wait 2 hours later for their meal and on the menu it says kinda beuno cheesecake and I was really looking forward to it and the waiter says we don’t sell that 🤨 then why is it on the menu?

Staff are nice and locale looks fine. Chargrilled meat is decent enough but the mezze and moussaka are a bit sloppy.

Had great night lovely food (with Gluten Free on almost everything) and fantastic staff - well worth a visit, if you can good for the meze upstairs when the dancing is on, very entertaining!

Went for a 60th party, had the upstairs area, food was excellent, service was great, nice friendly atmosphere. Also had a belly dancer, who was fantastic. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely amazing Greek restaurant! I've been to many Greek restaurants in Liverpool that I would say are average (being Greek I have pretty high standards!) However Christakis is by far the best Greek restaurant in Liverpool by miles. The food is delicious, portion sizes are great, and the staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Couldn't recommend it enough, you won't be disappointed if you go 👌🏽 thanks again!!

Not often that we come across a restaurant by chance and decide to eat there again the following evening! Busy restaurant but despite no reservation found us a table. Excellent friendly staff, superb food cooked within sight and amazing service. Generous portions at a very reasonable price. Having never tried Greek food we tried the Meze which was amazing so we booked for the following evening to try the fish platter which didn't disappoint. Again staff, service and food superb and restaurant packed again. We know where we will be dining the next time we stay in Liverpool!

We were staying in the Travel lodge directly opposite, and were planning on having a quick meal at the Toby Carvery next door but it was full so we tried Christakis, and thank God we did. Fantastic food with extremely generous portions and very friendly staff, what more can you ask for? Recommended!

We used to go to Chistakis former restaurant on Smithdown Road so when they opened on Aigburth Road we wanted to give it a try. Went for early evening menu thinking it would be fairly quiet, it turned out to be quite busy. Must admit, the early menu at £10 for two courses is a bargain. Although restricted there is still plenty of choice on this menu. There's obviously a new kitchen team here and in the main the food was very good. I had my old standby of Tahini starter and Afaelia for my main. The starter was excellent. The main was good but my main criticism was that the chips were skinny frozen chips whereas the old restaurant cooked chunky hand cut chips which were standout good. We will be returning, overall four stars, which would have made five if the old style chips were still on offer.

After a complete mix up with our booking which was really disappointing as i had booked in advance for a birthday celebration and had family members in attendance including children and this created a very awkward conversation with the on duty manager in front of alot of other diners. To his credit he dealt with the situation well and we was eventually seated, although abit of squash and a squeeze it was greatly appreciated. The lady who served us couldn't apologise enough, as did the duty manager and explained the mix up, however i recieved a call asking why i hadn't attended/was i for my booking the following evening which eould explain the actual mix up as my booking amendments had been made but for the wrong date. Please do not let this put you off as i say it was dealt with well and we were seated, prehaps bookings shoyld be called to confirm the day before or the day of to avoid this situation in the future. The service was excellent the lady and gentleman serving us were welcoming, friendly and so polite and made us feel at ease following the mix up. The service was quick from ordering to being served and in between starters to main. This alone made up for it all but oh my goodness the food was absolutely amazing, really tasty, beautifully presented, great value and honestly everyone of us enjoyed our choices from kids meals to meat and seafood platters and various starters. The portion sizes were so good, we even brought some home as honestly could no waste such great food. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely evening in a welcoming setting with great food on offer at reasonable prices. We will be back again soon.

Ordered chicken which was not cooked, empty glasses didn't ask if we wanted another drink. They refunded my meal but definitely will not return very disappointed after hearing good reviews

Great restaurant, I've currently got a large frame attached to my leg and they accommodated me with no issues at all... made it a no hassle experience which made my night better. All the staff were great, very polite & friendly and George made sure we were well all night. Food was great, no complaints at all and when it came to the bill, extremely great value. Will definitely be returning.

What an amazing meal we had at Christakis! The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Thank goodness we booked! It was a Thursday evening and it was full! My husband and I shared the meat platter, which started with warm pitta bread, three dips and a fresh greek salad then a massive plate of the tenderest, most juicy mixed meats on a bed of rice with two mountains of chips! Needless to say we brought a lot of it home to enjoy when we're slightly less stuffed, but we will definitely be back again.

I would of scored Christakis a lot higher but for a few problems, I will start with the positives, the lamb mousaka was beautiful and loads of it it was a rich ragu with the aubergines, corgettes and potatos and a delicious bechamel the salad and dips with bread was a real winner cant go wrong with warm bread now the negative 4 of us chose the mixed meat platter to share and the meat was so heavely over seasond with salt i was ok with it because i add salt to everything normaly without tasting first but my daughter pre warned me the meat was all cooked perfectly and juicey to be fair we took the meat home in a doggy bag and my wife made a rich tomato sauce and added the meat to that it was a really nice meal at home but we did mention it to the restaurant and they knocked some money off the bill it will not deter us from going back as the portion size is really good you will not go away feeling hungry

Unbelievable gaff. The scran was unbelievable, tenner for a starter and a main. Friendliest staff I have ever met. Nothing was a hassle. The whole night was perfect, I’m already excited to come again next week. Them strawberry daiquiri’s were an absolute party on the pallet aswell 🍓
