Wow. I have NO words to describe how AMAZING and AWESOME this restaurant is! The food was exceptional, and the manger, waiters, bartenders, and cooks were all beyond excellent. Today we celebrated a special wedding ceremony. The staff made room for us to dance, and allowed us to request songs, and they even participated in our joy and celebration! The vibe was truly beyond what I could EVER imagine. It’s hard to find restaurants where the designs is impeccable, the food is delicious and beautiful presented, and the staff being so attentive, friendly and joining the vibe. But this restaurant has all these amazing qualities as well as many more!! If you ever want to celebrate, or just want to have a delicious lunch/dinner, I’d definitely recommend coming to Melissa in Harrow. I could NOT stop recommending this amazing restaurant. Thank you to all the staff who participated in our celebration, and created such a beautiful vibe! I’m so happy we came here.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! The food was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was perfect, and what made it even better was that they let us play our own music, creating such a fun and personal experience. The service was top-notch, and you can tell they truly care about their customers. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a unique, welcoming vibe. Great place for inviting someone . Never disappointed

Decor and ambience of the restaurant was nice so decided to take my girl out to try as we both love lamb. And having saw the positive reviews surely it should be a win win. Service was slow and inattentive my girlfriend had to ask several times for the WiFi password which still didn't connect just put it on the menu? The starters was were nice squid rings fresh, half way thru the starters the waitress stressed us asking can she start with the mains which I responded can you hold for another 10 minutes. Was there any reason to rush? Anyways once the starters had finished the mains came but to my surprise the lamb guvec arrived at best warm it was served on a hot plate which was not hot,.... The adana lamb arrived 5 minutes after wasn't a problem as we were sharing everything this was hot and nice. The guvec was on the salty side but not to spoil the evening with my girlfriend we srugged it off and didnt fuss about it. Small adjustments could be made in the service and food to make it a 4 or 5 stars.

The best restaurant in London! High recommend!

Absolute joke. Made 4 of us sit there for 30 minutes and continued to let everyone else through. After going to the toilet we saw many tables not reserved so we decided to order wrap for take away. After being sat there for nearly 40 minutes and waiting in the front seats we got given our food and then we opened the wraps as our friend was finishing the toilet. Bare in line the mends toilet had sick in it!! Absolute mess. One of the cooks said we couldn’t eat on the seat and asked us to leave! Are you actually serious ! You’re not a fancy dining you’re just selling Turkish fast food. The wrap was pretty good but the absolute POOR SERVICE OUTWEIGHTED THE SHAMBLES! You should be embarrassed how you treated us !

Surprised at the high reviews tbh - service wasn't great and food was okay. Particularly disappointed with the service where we asked for things and never received it or it came very late (sauces/water etc). And my wine was cleared away, we had attitude from some servers and were completely ignored after dinner. We would have each ordered several drinks after dinner but they didn't come to check on us/take orders and it became exhausting trying to get their attention!

Very nice food at the right price!

The food was alright, everything tasted delicious with no issues there. However, one of the table legs was wobbly, which was a bit annoying. I had to ask to be moved, as I doubt anyone would want to be seated there. I noticed others were later seated at the same table, so they likely just put up with it.

Me and my husband visited this evening to have a meal before watching a movie…. I had to come home to write a raving review. The staff were 10/10 More than it being a restaurant, it felt like a family restaurant. The food is cooked so well and tastes out of this world. Huge shout out to Yasmin and Denisa Who went over and beyond. Turkish tea and baklava at the end was the icing on the cake. Thank you for making our date night so special. X

Attended my mates 50th bday party. Was really good set menu. All had starters and the main was mixed grills to share. Was a lot of food and sauces kept coming. Service was good and waiters were attentive. Brought out a cake for us and provide plates and cutlery. Overall a very good experience.

My favourite place since opening lovely service from denissa

Sadly we had a very negative experience here. When we came in for our small group booking we were directed to where our friends were already sitting who had already ordered their drinks. After waiting to be served for about ten minutes I ended up standing up and finding someone to ask to take our drinks orders. We also ordered starters to save time. After receiving a bottle of red wine instead of the white we requested, I had to stand up again to get the issue rectified. No biggie but would have been nice if someone was keeping an eye on us so I didn't have to keep getting up. We also had to inform the waiter that sadly some members of our party had cancelled so our party size was less people than originally expected. The waiter did not respond in a friendly way and seemed annoyed by this. I would understand if the restaurant was busy, as they may have lost custom, but the place was pretty empty - I'd say about 20% of the tables were occupied so it didn't seem necessary. Following this, we waited 20 minutes to order our mains. No one came to our table to give us service. It really felt like we weren't being looked after and was frustrating. As a group we decided that we couldn't proceed with our lunch booking given the service which had left a bad taste in our mouths. We decided we just wanted to leave and have lunch elsewhere so I waived to a waiter and asked for the bill. What happened next really shocked us: we waited for about 5 minutes and then our original server came and said that we couldn't have the bill. 'You have to order food with your drinks due to licencing'. This was bizarre. Several members of our party have worked in the service industry and know that this is absolutely not how licencing works. It seemed like a ploy to force us to spend more money. I then politely informed the waiter that we had ordered food and gestured to the starters still on the table. The waiter laughed and said that we had to order 'at least one main'. We said that we wanted to leave and asked again if he could take the payment and he folded and gave us the bill. Bizarre. We were really disappointed by how our experience ended because honestly we were expecting the waiter to ask us if everything was ok considering we were leaving early. However, instead we were met with confrontation. Ultimately we were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

We booked for a birthday lunch yesterday.we had mixed plater and some more different dishes. Food was delicious and friendly staffs. We all had a wonderful day.

Had a very mixed experience here definitely wouldn’t recommend the fish dishes however everything else was good, service from the staff was excellent but I found the owner to be very obnoxious and rude. When I tried to explain my issue with the Fish course he was too busy to acknowledge me which seemed weird as the restaurant was completely empty. I don’t think I would recommend this restaurant for good value as I found it very over priced and underwhelming, no wonder the restaurant is always empty. However I cannot fault the waitresses they were amazing.

This place has the best lamb in the area. Everything is 5 stars there. Also the regular sauce (chilli and yogurt) they give for their food is the best. They renovated the place and is so beautiful, with a relaxing atmosphere. Keep it like this guys. ❤️. Not to forget the girls who work there. Always polite and smiling. You don’t get the same attitude and attention to other restaurants in the area.

I came to the restaurant for the second time last week. I met a Turkish guy named Muhamad whom we have known for years, and we had come to have him serve us food again and to laugh and talk. Unfortunately, I didn't see him there today. I don't know if there was a problem with it or not, but the food was good as always and we enjoyed the delicious taste of the food. We will come to the restaurant again.

We came here on my Father's birthday on the 18th of January 2025. This Place absolutely ruined his birthday. A few hours after we left, we all had extreme stomach pain and started vomiting. A week later, we still have food poisoning!!! I would avoid this place at all costs, the hygiene is absolutely atrocious and disgusting. Only come here if you'd like food poisoning. I know the Owners will see this review, and instead of deleting reviews like this, please reply to them. Very disappointing!

Food was great, we ordered the humus and bread, hot mixed mezzee starters and the chicken shish with salad and chips with pink gin and beer. Overall the food was flavourful and filling Thanks to Muhammed who took our order and served us quickly and efficiently, we really appreciated it. Staff were friendly and helpful Atmosphere was nice, clean, well decorated and lit with lights and colours. The restaurant was filled with lots of families and people of all ages. Bathroom toilet seats were not usable as the seats were broken and tissue clogged the toilets

We went to Melissa this weekend and I was very impressed by this restaurant. The food was lovely, decent prices, nice atmosphere lovely staff, great decor and overall a very good experience. I will be coming back.

Took so long to accept the order

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and we dined in. Overall, the place was quite clean, the staff were professional and dressed in uniform, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was delicious. We initially wanted to try the chicken doner, but unfortunately, we were informed it had run out. This was surprising given that it was only around 7 PM, which seemed early for a restaurant of this type to run out of such a staple dish. Instead, we opted for the mixed shish and a few other items from the menu. The lamb, in particular, was very tasty and juicy, which I really enjoyed. However, there was another small issue: we asked for extra bread, but it wasn’t brought to our table until I had nearly finished my meal. The waiter mentioned the kitchen hadn’t given it to her after three requests, which was disappointing as it was just bread and should have been served quickly. By the time it arrived, it was too late to enjoy it with the meal. Despite these small letdowns, I would still recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area. With a little more attention to detail, this restaurant could provide an even better overall experience

1 star for each category,let's see what's the reason...15:16 we received a table and some nice coloured menu's,16:01 nobody came to see us....All food was "invisible"...When we left finally a guy from the bar realised what happend but was too late.Almost 1 hour whitout being served,very nice&friendly place....Next time...NEVER!!!

“This authentic Turkish restaurant located in heart of harrow , on the high street. The ambiance is absolutely beautifully decorated , warm and inviting, with beautiful Turkish lanterns and soft traditional music. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, very quick service. We loved the flavors of the chicken and lamb both and the freshness of the mezze dishes, especially the fresh salad.The portions were small though. Albanian liver and sauces were delicious. A bit pricey, but worth it for the experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine Turkish flavors!” No parking facilities. You have to park either in a mall or nearest car park.

I very much enjoyed the food (and the wine too!) in this place. Nicely located, walking distance from the tube station. The welcome was great, friendly staff, lots of variety to choose from and the food was lush! The best Turkish bread I had so far! I recommend and will be back!

Even though they’ve blocked me on FB, the incident is not forgotten(they know) Make sure you treat your clients right, don’t allow any bullying on your premises. It is a shame that the management hasn’t taken any action. Do not go to this restaurant if you want to have a quiet meal.

I ordered the chicken shawarma, but it was a major disappointment. The chicken was tough and unappealing, with no hint of freshness. Unfortunately, the rice served alongside it wasn’t any better—bland and poorly prepared. Overall, it was a very underwhelming meal.

Before booking the table for my son’s 4th birthday I had gone to the restaurant personally to advise that all the people coming are vegetarian and had asked if they cater for vegetarian? Staff had shown me the menu, with all the vegetarian dishes and had said there can change few things for children if there are fussy eaters. So it sounded all good so had gone ahead to book the table. On the day of his birthday when everyone arrived and was taking their seats I spoke to the staff to start ordering the food and reminded them of everyone being vegetarian. Staff said sorry we cannot accommodate has their use the same oil and surface has the meat and it’s not a normal norm for them to advice customers that their do this. I was so shocked 😮 with the response and I could hear the small kids crying in the background cos there were all so hungry. I asked why wasn’t I made aware of this on the day I booked the table? I also asked is it not UK standers to make customers aware of this? In reply I was told their don’t know this. I feel the owner needs to revisit the UK’s national food standards. If you are offering vegetarian options and using the same fat and surface has meat then you are not been honest with your customers. We had to leave and try and find last minute place to celebrate my son’s birthday. It was so disappointing and embarrassing.

We have ordered a max platter with side dish. Overall quantity is good but taste was average especially lamb chops were not good. Service is 9/10 and ambiance is 8/10. But a bit expensive.

They have vegetarian options on their menu and in a separate section also to highlight them. However, on asking further details we were informed that they use the same oil. So fish cooked with vegetarian falafels. How is the food vegetarian then??? One star for their honesty.
