This restaurant is by far the best Turkish restaurant. The quality, service and pricing is unmatched. Any Turkish restaurant in london that provides a similar service strangely enough charges nearly double which I believe is bizarre. Thanks again Melissa 👌🏽

Visited for first time Saturday 1st June! Friend recommended! Was very busy so appeared a popular venue, Did not think we would get a sitting but on entering immediately recognised a member of staff from few years previous and after greeting and chat were given a table. There was a children's birthday party on the long table next to us which, as with all excited young ones, was a little noisy for a while! Eventually quietened down and we were presented with some starters and chose a,selection of food from a busy menu . . .we were not disappointed, the food was delicious, care taken by staff to ensure we had dishes served at a time convenient for us. All-in-all, a very positive experience, friendly staff, great food, what more could one ask? -

The food is good but they can get the order wrong and charge you incorrectly. Sometimes they do both!! They also don't read their own menu prices correctly e.g. They say something that is clearly written as £12.00 is £13.00. Check your bills when you buy from this place. It's a shame because the food is generally good/better than average, and the staff do seem nice so I'm not certain if these errors are due to malice and being sneaky... Or if it's due to stupidity. All I can say for certain is that I've had this experience more than once - which has prevented me and my family from being very regular customers, so you know what, they've probably done us a favour by making these mistakes as it means we save our money!

Upon entering, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The service remained impeccable throughout the evening, with our server demonstrating deep knowledge of the menu and wine pairings. The food was a delightful experience. For starters we ordered mix hot and cold mexe , it was delicious and beautifully presented. For the main course, I opted for Maxi platter with a red wine reduction, which was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and paired with seasonal vegetables that complemented the dish well. My dining family chose the wild mushroom and halloumi grill which was rich, and equally satisfying. Dessert didn’t disappoint either — the Baklava was with pistachio and served with whipped cream that balanced sweetness and depth beautifully. While on the pricier side, the quality of food, ambiance, and service at Melissa Harrow made it a memorable experience. Highly recommended for special occasions or anyone seeking refined dining.

I recently dined at Melissa, and it was an exceptional Turkish culinary experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. We started with a round of cocktails, which were not only beautifully presented but also expertly crafted. The barman clearly put thought into blending traditional flavors with modern twists. The star of the evening, however, was the kebab. Cooked to perfection, the meat was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced. The portion sizes were generous, and the accompanying sides – fresh salads, fluffy rice, and warm bread – complemented the kebab beautifully. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes from their menu!

We visited here on a evening for dinner with some family. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The decor was really lovely. They have a decent selection of foods. We ordered mixed cold meze which were decent and paired with the turkish bread. For mains we ordered chicken serma beyti. I often order this whenever I go to Turkish place to compare, really loved it. Portions huge. Family members also go the iskender kebab which again had a massive portion. They did love their meal too. I would say this is £30ph which includes starters, mains, drinks and service. Overall would visits here again. A family friendly spot situated diagonally opposite Iceland. Lots of parking available in town centre too 👍🏼

Not very customer oriented with regulars. Been going there for at least few days in a week, but the last time I went there I wanted to order only 2 starters which equivalent to cost of a main course but they refused to bring service(such as bread and sauce) on the table.. the Albanian waiter ungenerously said sorry we do not offer service for starters. Although Other restaurants sometimes offer small gestures to appreciates the regulars, but this restaurant does not. restaurant falls short in generosity towards their loyal customers. Good luck anyway

Very tasty food and nice service

The mixed platter for two is very good value for money. For 42 pounds, you get Döner, rice, bulgur, lamb and chicken cubes, minced lamb and chicken, as well as bread with a yogurt dip, a chilli sauce and a yoghurt sauce and a salad. Only gave this place a 4 star for food because I felt like it was a bit too salty for my liking, but it was well cooked and flavourful. Staff were kind and tended to us well.

My wife and I enjoy Melissa as the best restaurant on Harrow's high street. The food, service and ambiance are second to none. We went again today, and consistent excellence is precisely what we see each time. The staff are welcoming, attentive and very friendly.

Ilyas made us a cocktail for the first time and it tasted amazing. The service provided was amazing. We will definitely be coming back again :)

Simply the best restaurant around Harrow

The place looks great inside, i went in for lunch, so they barely had any customers at that time, but the waiters seemed a bit slow but smiling at least. The prices seemed okay, but the food i wasn't very happy with. I ordered a mocktail pina colada, hummus for starters (great taste), but the main medium mixed donner was a bit off. The chicken was very oily, the lamb was too fatty, and the bulgur was fine, not great. I felt a bit sick from the lamb meat, didn't sit right with me.

Went with my work colleagues and we had to ask for bread which should've been standard seeing there was so many of us and usually the bread comes before food. I ordered the chicken shish which comes with rice and salad as stated on their menu. Instead the salad came with our bread which everyone shared and my meal plate came with just the shish and some rice. I realised after what they had done. So I had a boring tasteless meal and so did some of my colleagues as they experienced the same. If a meal says it comes with rice, salad and chosen meat then that's what should be on the plate. And if salad is given with bread then that's a complimentary starter. Food nothing great and the price well over priced. I've had better Turkish food. Wouldn't recommend or visit again.

Melissa restaurant harrow I came to the restaurant to enjoy the food... but what I and my family found when they came there were lots of complaints... you weren't allowed to put things on the chairs, you weren't allowed to bring drinks... even though we brought the remaining drinks... because the weather was very hot. . even though next month I planned to book for 100 people... I was already disappointed and upset that the food I ordered didn't taste good... and yesterday was the last day I came there... very bad that fist time I come restaurant only bring water complain 😒

Absolutely love the food here the quality is high every time I have ordered. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the sister branch in Edgware food is poorly packaged and do not offer the same options as harrow. I ordered lamb shish and it only came with bread and salad no rice or bulgar! My food was not in a foil container which didnt have a secure lid resulting in my food spilling into the bag ruining my whole meal. customer service is severely lacking they definitely need to catch up with the harrow branch. I will continue to spend my money at the harrow branch

I had lunch there, the service was excellent and the food fantastic. I can’t believe it took me this long to try eating there. Value for money was exceptional.

Came to this restaurant. It was not the busy time and there were so many vacant seats and there was a family ( 3 people ) got their seat without booking. The staff( a short man with a small beard) told me there was no seat for me, cause they were all booked. Later I come back to ask his colleagues and they were like: “ Who said that?” The former staff jumped out said:” Yes.There were not seat because you did not booking.” Feeling ridiculous for this poor lies & liars. It was such a shame you have lost a big deal due to your dishonesty and discrimination, because I was hold a booking list for my friends to eat together. “Not worthy of coming “ restaurant.

Service was absolutely excellent. Food was also really well prepared and tasty albeit dry with yoghurt being strained to almost being solid. All in all, would dine here again.

The service was great as was the decor. However there was only one vegan option for a main meal; the vegetable kebab - without the tomato sauce! They put butter in their sauces and fry meat in the fryer they use for falafels. We left after drinks. Please provide some vegan main meal options and perhaps find a way of ensuring the starters such as falafels are vegan friendly. I would like to think you'd attract more customers, like me

Food is overall good. It’s pretty standard Turkish cuisine but cooked to a good level. The staff are friendly.

Great food, many tables inside, and friendly service. The taste is great. I ordered a takeaway and the package was much better than the average Kebab shop where they give you plastic bags and polystyrene packs. There is a bar area where you can order drinks. Service is on table too. Good location un Harrow town center. Parking can be tricky, but you can choose to park at the shopping centre parking lot. Worthy!

The food was over priced compare to the shop no delivery fee but charged me for service basically for preparing what service charge as I wasn't in the restaurant. Your delivery driver refused to come and bring it up to my door and demanded that I go down and come to him so again what service charge. I'm never using this again I use to like ur restaurant and I was a fan of it but I'm disappointed 😞
