This is my family’s favourite place for a family buffet. The food is always lovely and the staff are amazing.

Good food, you won't leave hungry after visiting them. Shame they don't serve alcohol so you can enjoy a beer after your meal. Good food, didn't try the whole menu but I had better in different places.

We had a wonderful meal tonight with friends. Apart from the salad, bread and dips when you arrive I had the sucuk to start and then we shared a platter for 4/5 people and it was utterly delicious. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. We highly recommend a meal there.

Great Shawarma plate! We got a large plate and it was very big, ideal for 2 people, the meat was fresh and tasty, nice salad good bread! We got treated tea and a sweet too! Definitely recommend

I came here with my friend for lunch, and really enjoyed the food. We ordered Chicken doner and chips and the portion was enough for both of us! The service is lovely and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I would definitely go to this restaurant again!

Awful. 5 pieces od small cut up chicken with salad for a medium size shwarma. Basically £19.50 for salad and 5 pieces of chicken

Great Halal Turkish restaurant. Food was delicious, we ordered; hummus and pastry for starters, mixed platter for main which was for 2-3 people but four of us comfortably ate from this and had leftovers which we packed to take home. We also ordered the Kanafeh and Royal Pot (toffee ice cream) for dessert which was good too. Service was very good and the food all came pretty quickly. The only slight con was that the Kanafeh took a bit of time and by the time it came out those who ordered the ice cream had finished it but this wasn’t a big deal as it was still nice. The place was clean and has a 5/5 hygiene rating. Overall, it’s great for family and friends and I’d definitely recommend!

We have dined here so many times and always had a good meal reasonably priced, however our visit on Saturday was not great. Food was not up to usual quality meat was dry & chewy, service was lacking and overall it was not a great experience. We were also overcharged by about £25 but didn't realise till we had paid & left. I'm not sure what happened, New staff? New manager? Sadly its put us of returning.

Run of the mill food average for this type of venue large ish portions served with excellent salads and some complimentary dips some of the kofte a little over cooked but that’s purely Personal nevertheless a pleasant evening no problem with take home left overs

Ordered takeaway through Just Eat. The bulgur we received was expired, it had gone bad and smelt awful, it couldnt be eaten and had to all be thrown out. Everything else about the order was perfect and delicious, such a shame the bulgur ruined it.

I ordered Bulgur rice from here as we had no time to cook but the rice is already spoiled and is not suitable for eating. I am very disappointed as they are keeping spoiled rice instead of testing it before serving for customers.

Your falafel test is not good is not fresh and your bread is soggy in just a few minutes how can be you serve like this type of food it’s not fresh anyways your salad is not nice your food is not fresh it’s like 2-3 days ago you cooked I order and I just eat after 10 min it’s soggy 😡 I have really really bad experience.

The food was amazing. We got the mixed grill and kofta. Very good BBQ/ coal flavour. The staff were very friendly also, would highly recommend. Our waitressKushi was great throughout the dinner!

I’ve never actually been to the restaurant however I’ve ordered Diaar via Ubereats loads of times and it never fails to disappoint! Portion sizes are great, food is tasty and fresh. The mixed kebab is a great variety of lamb and chicken pieces plus you get so much rice and bulgar which is amazing, add in the muska boregi to complete the meal. If the food tastes this good at home I can only imagine it being even better in the restaurant- looking forward to visiting and eating there.

Good food, bring your own alcohol (if required).

The worst food I have ever had. They must have dropped the kebab on sand and then sent it to me. It tasted like i am crunching on sand. Disgusting. Will never order again

I haven't commented on the atmosphere as the food was ordered through Uber Eats. We ordered a couple of Lahmacuns, Chef Special Platter, Chips, Mixed Meze and Falafels. The Chips was missing from the order, but a quick call and they dropped off a portion with an apology. On to the food... Wow, absolutely delicious. The food was well packaged and so remained hot by the time we unpacked it. Plenty of sauces and bread so no complaints there. Nothing was dry or inedible and the portion sizes were accurately described and good. If they continue doing what they are I am sure they will go from strength to strength. Can't recommend enough.

Have eaten in and had many deliveries, both equally good. This is one of the best Turkish restaurants in the UK, in my opinion. Alwaus fresh and delicious!

I popped in last week to order a 1/2 beef burger with red cabbage/onions/ lettuce with fries cooked a bit crispy. Total 7.70, not a bad price. The burger tasted juicy and succulent without any sauces added, and the fries were cooked to perfection. Will be back.

Yesterday I had falafel from your restaurant and the quality of falafel was so bad I don’t understand why did you change the patty . I had a lot time falafel from your restaurant but this time I feel I never come before otherwise your service staff was excellent please get the old falafel back

I have been coming here (periodically) for almost 4 years. I often asked the waitress/waiter which of the vegetarian meals don't contain milk/dairy. I was ALWAYS told that 'if I ask for no yogurt', the Vegetable Kebab contains no milk/dairy and is 100% vegan. I have probably ordered this dish about 25 times in the last 4 years. I found out last week (from who I think was the owner himself) that the TOMATO SAUCE for the kebab CONTAINS BUTTER!!! I am REALLY upset with this complete lack of care, and mis-informtion from the waiters. This is also a SERIOUS WORRY FOR MILK ALLERGY CUSTOMERS!! Very disappointing! I am also equally upset because I have been consuming milk/dairy against my wishes. Diaar has lost 3 customers (me, mum, dad). Message to owner: Please take food allergies and customer (religious) eating preferences seriously!

Quick service, nice staff, clean place and tasty fresh food.

Ordered a takeaway through Uber eats. Food was very tasty and portion sizes were decently large. They gave complimentary bread, sauces and salad with my order and it was great. Will definitely be ordering again from here!

Don’t ever try mix donner, chicken wings and falafels here, mix donner and wings were so badly smelling and falafels with Humus were completely burnt! Waitress was 💯 genius!

Diaar is a wonderful dining experience. The food sounds simple but just the two types of rice are so delicious I could just order them. But everything I ordered was really special. The grilled meats are great, as is the huge salad which is included. I would recommend the restaurant to everyone but it is wise to book as it does sometimes get very busy. Note there is no alcohol served here but you won’t miss it! Bon appetit! Thank you Diaar.

Apart from the tabouleh, the rest of our takeaway meal was very poor. In particular, the Diaar Special Lamb Shish was appalling - overcooked and little resemblance to lamb.

Always order our turkish food from Diaar, the platters are always amazing, the food is cooked exceptionally well and no one ever has any complaints, overall really well priced and there is nowhere else we go so if you are local to Diaar either come to the restaurant or order a delivery and pick it up. The best restaurant in Stanmore, keep up the good cooking Diaar!!!! Well be seeing you soon 😏

Good food but very small platter portion for the price in comparison to other similar restaurants. Service was not good, had to ask for things numerous times even though there were only two occupied tables.

3 of us went for dinner. the food as ever was well presented and tasty. the service ( Micha a young lady 6ft tall and great smile ) was attentive and helpfull. the total bill including tip was £ 57 and we had more food than we could finish. we have always had good value and enjoyed it here

Upon arrival we were told to take any free table and chose to sit towards the back on a table for 6. There were three of us. The order was taken for two starters between us and three smaller main courses. The starters were delicious but halfway through the main courses were brought. Quite strange. The main courses were good and we thought we had found our new Turkish restaurant to visit regularly. Sadly things went rapidly downhill. I asked for the bill and it was quickly produced. At this point I was told in no uncertain terms CASH ONLY. I explained that this could be a problem and the response was I should go to a cash machine. As a disabled person this is not so easy. I was told that the card machine was out of order. I requested that it be brought over to try. THE WAITER JUST SHRUGGED AND WALKED AWAY NEVER TO RETURN THE OTHER STAFF JUST IGNORED US. We managed to get enough together to pay the bill and left being ignored on our way out. NEVER AGAIN.

this restaurant is getting more popular. booking is becoming more essential. warm decor, efficient service, good portions, reasonble prices, the only downside is takeaway meals when in come delivery people , people to collect meals etc, usually many persons, this obviously delays production of food for those who are seated. the wait for food normally is not too long.

my sister and brother in law reconnended this resturant as they have been there seversl times , as it was my friends birthday we decited to make a visit, we ordered are meal are staters arrived we had a selection of dips and that was it , we waited 5 minutes then called the waitress over and ask where was our pitta bread it arrived after 5 minutes again till it arrived the same time as the cutlery and serviettes which one was marked, as we was eating are starters the main course arrived with no new cutlery ,which we had to ask for,when we had finished our meal we was not offered any menue for deserts I am soory guys to write this

We go to this restaurant frequently, because the food and service are excellent and the prices are sensible. I like the chicken shish, which is very well flavoured and tender and tasty, and comes with mixed rice. Also a large mixed salad and two dips (humous and cacik) with warm bread are served before the main course. Turkish tea included. Ordered from her a few times on deliveroo… really impressive chicken skewers. Big portion with Bread, rice and cous cous plus salad. Very good value and tasted delicious. If they keep doing big large portions and reasonable price I will definitely keep returning

I had been waiting for at least 30 minutes for a chicken doner wrap as a takeaway, when I asked the waiters about it, it was pretty obvious that they never started preparing it. I just left. How hard can it be to prepare a chicken doner wrap after you have already taken the payment
