Best meat I’ve ever tasted. So tender it really does melt in your mouth and the flavour is wonderful. Staff are very nice but some people may find certain things too invasive for their liking.

Me and my girlfriend came here for a lunch date. We were highly impressed by the manager, Azed, who tended to all of our needs and made sure we felt warm and welcome. We had the ribeye and the Dallas steak which were both divine. The atmosphere was impeccable, with the captivating notes of Turkish music in the air. All in all, I highly recommend coming here, and we will definitely be returning.

Lovely food. I was with some Muslim business associates. I couldn’t have a drink as the place was strictly halal. My meat was great but would have been better with a Rioja.

Today, we had a very nice meal at the restaurant we went to with our friends, thanks to brother Azat. He reflects the hospitality of the Turkish people very well.

The food at Etci was lovely as always, steak was cooked well, service was very quick, but what truely stood out was the genuine hospitality from Azad that night. One of my favourite places to eat. The food is always extremely good, the staff are fantastic - friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is good. This restaurant is halal. There is parking outside but you do have to pay a small amount.

This was my 1st time eating here and will be my last. So where do I start. 1st of all they do not server alcohol. If I knew we wouldn't have booked. 2nd they have Heinz ketchup bottles filled with cheap ketchup that isn't heinz. That's actually illegal. False advertising is illegal. You can't put cheap ketchup in a heinz bottles and pass it off as heinz. The cheap ketchup used was disgusting. You could actually tell the heinz bottles had been refilled many times as the label was very worn and old. Just get normal ketchup bottles and stop illegally false advertising. Also they had some idiot running around with fire squirting out of some canister. It absolutely stunk and was really dangerous. Almost set my friend and others on fire. He obviously wasn't a professional. Food quality was OK, but only ok. My fillet steak was quite tough. I've had much better. I have to say I really could not recommend this place and was very disappointed. I will not go again.

I enjoy coming to this place every time like its the first time. Ali does make the experience even more enjoyable. He is sweet, helpful and most importantly funny. Excellent service, steaks was the best.

They have great meat and burgers. Try their asado beef if you go there. But the shows are a bit off putting honestly. Makes the place look cheaper. And I felt pity for the staff performing.

The restaurant service was amazing, the manager Mohammed and the other waiters all of them were really nice. In addition the food was delicious and also it came with a fire show, which was the best part. totally recommended, definitely coming back again!

This place is 100% halal. I always have a positive experience at Etci. Its a great place to visit for all - couples, families, work mates. The food and entertainment is the best. There is a variety of steaks/dishes (some are pricier than others), and the staff frequently do fire shows in house, always getting the customers involved. Whenever I go, there are always birthday celebrations going on. The staff sing Happy Birthday and bring a big platter of cake and ice cream, plus a giant sparkler on top! Its truly a sight to see. There is seating available inside and there is a little porch area outside that people can sit and eat at too. Etci's website states it offers a student discount on Monday to Friday between 12-5pm at Manchester, however my friends and I have never used this offer. Maybe you (students) could give it a try. There is always a service charge at the end - its only a few pounds. Overall, I would highly recommend you come to Etci if you're after halal steak and a fun night to remember.

Tasty Turkish restaurant near city center, kabab platter was nice, steak was a bit chewy though, they overdid it. Desserts were good and they offered coffee on the house. Staff was friendly and serving size was generous. They do tricks while serving the food too.

The best restaurant I have been to in Manchester

At first I have to say there was not turkish restaurant, it was Arabic restaurant, teams, food, music, all was Arabic. We have dinner, food taste was usual, but price was high. Atmosphere was so busy, even we couldn’t talk together, Probably I will not go there next time

Have eaten there several times. Every time I was very satisfied. Quality of food and service excellent. All employees were very accommodating and extremely friendly. One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at.

Was really looking forward to this. Being pregnant I really pushed myself to get out and try enjoying New Year’s Eve. I Booked in advance and I asked for a good seated table to enjoy the entertainment. I was put right at the back completely away from the whole entertainment for the night. Not just for me but for the other families with kids in the back. The dancing and drumming should have been fair and covered all parts of the restaurant. So everyone could have enjoyed them selves and not just the people at the front. However waiters and staff were great 👍🏽

My husband and I had a fantastic time. The food was delicious. I ordered the house special Istanbul beef steak served on a hot plate. My husband ordered the classic beef burger with yummy fries. I must say the menu is exceptional with a large variety of delicious dishes. The baklawa is a must have. The atmosphere was enjoyable and very entertaining. The staff were friendly and attentive. The new manager, Azar, looked after us, and Sana was lovely to speak to, with her warm, charismatic smile. Thank you for a great night to the whole team at the Manchester branch 😊

Came here with my sister and family for our birthday. 10/10 would recommend. Only critique would be there seats need a good deep clean but otherwise can’t fault it!

This place is open until 12 pm it has nice Turkish food and burgers their service is the best here in MCR The shisha guys Ali and the other one are so friendly and nice this place is highly recommended

We declared a rather serious and debilitating allergy at the start of the meal and we didn’t feel like it was taken seriously by the staff. Especially when we weren’t then told that a starter we had ordered was garnished with it. While our waiter tried to resolve it to the best of his ability, it ruined our confidence in the food and quite frankly our whole evening. And while the food was delicious, we won’t be returning as we felt ignored and brushed off.

In one word, it is an excellent restaurant, if you like to eat meat, it is the best restaurant you can go to in Manchester. The meat is very high quality and delicious, I would especially like to thank the business manager Mr. Azad, he showed excellent care and attention, he is a very high-quality person, I will definitely stop by again next time I come.

Great food and great service! We ordered the chicken kebabs and the beef tacos which were cooked perfectly. The beef was juicy and tender. The kids meal burgers were amazing! Great service and will definitely come back!

Disappointing. Don't bother going here. Any takeaway is 100 times better. This place looks very fancy and pretty, but food is terrible. Ordered the Mixed Kebabs, the worst tasting, most expensive kebabs ever!! No tatse or flavour of any salt or seasoning. Even with mayo and bbq sauce, I was struggling to chew or swallow. So dry. And naan got soggy with salad- which had no taste. Staff were polite and courteous. When I gave feedback to the manager, he said,'we'll look after you' but did not seem to take it seriously. He offered us free turkish tea, but was just plain black tea. I don't like it anyway. Also gave us a free slice of baklawa with ice cream, with a show by the server which was bit much for 'looking after you'. Food taste and satisfaction is more important than the decorations and show. For the excessive price they charged, food was unacceptable. I will not go there again.

Firstly, I want to mention Azad and his amazing hospitality. He is truly valuable to your business and has so much respect. I would like to also thank him for the Turkish coffee. I had the Turkish delight drink. We had the mezze dips, grilled marinated oyster mushrooms and the Turkish spring rolls for starters. We had the Beef Asado. This was great to share. For desert we had the Baklava and Turkish tea. Azad also made sure I tried some Turkish coffee. All the food was delicious and tasted fresh. The atmosphere was amazing. The music was great too. Thank you ever so much. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Great place for family and friends.

Fact is they don’t do anything to improve.. AVOID AVOID AVOID It was my son’s 30th Birthday and was special to all of us. I did lots of research and decided to go for this restaurant as other reviews suggested it to be lively with fire show etc. It was biggest mistake as food was terrible and thinking about it makes me sick. I ended up apologising to my family as I kind of ruined the night. We ordered 4 Rib eye Steaks, 2 well done and 2 medium rare but it ended up chewy, cold and medium rare were rare/raw. I left half of the steak uneaten. We also ordered mixed grill kebab which was not bad, it was better than steak but not better than any takeaway Turkish kebab shop. Then for deserts we ordered Baklava which was good so no complaints there. Overall terrible experience with food and I ended up paying almost £200 pounds .. worst experience for all of us and none of us enjoyed. Fire show is all they have but it is restaurant and not circus. Food is worst.. I wish I had booked somewhere else to celebrate my Son’s Birthday.. Regretting it so much.. save your money and don’t visit at any cost. Defo not worth a penny.. wish I could get my money back..

Came here for a family birthday. Food was excellent. Great portions and that meat was perfectly cooked with great flavours. The team were great as well, especially with our kids.

Horrible December 2024 I visited the place with my family for my son’s birthday, we decided on this place seeing the reviews and photos. I think this place is hyped on social media, the ambience is good, nothing else, the steaks were so dry, cold , no flavour at all, the kebabs were cold dry , just full of drama with the fire and presentation, food was horrible. Even the naan bread we ordered extra was so dense and flat. It spoilt our occasion, we in fact cancelled the cake, because we felt everything tasted rubbish, so how would that be good. Waste of money, do not recommend anything or anyone to go, photos and media seen about this place are a big drama, it’s not worth it. Wasted £200 for chewy horrible steaks.

the horrible place i've ever been!? I didn't like the food, the service was terrible...Every five minutes the staff asked us are you ready, have you finish with your dinner!? There won't be so much pressure to eat fast in prison!? I would never go back there again. In Rio brazilian steak house the beef was 100 times better...Istanbul barbeque in Chester was 10 times better...👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 I don’t care who visit this place/Pogba, Aguero, Fred/, it’s not good enough for me…stay away of it

Could do much better if it serves alcohol. Meat is not properly cooked. For example, you don't serve kofta kebabs red in the middle, Lamb should never be served red, beef yes, lamb no.

love the energy, music, vibe of the place honestly. the food was disappointing, sirloin steak came borderline cold and unseasoned and one of the waitresses flat out ignored me when i asked to return it (which i don’t do often) so i asked another. honestly most of the waiters were amazing and had a sick vibe and most of the food was great- the food was just a bit underwhelming

It was a nice experience overall, from all the staff. They were very pleasant and informative. The portion sizes are quite big. Like the starter mezze can easily be enough for 2+ people. Although they are known for the steaks and red meat. The chicken burger was delicious. Had a nice level of heat to it too. The giant spicy meatball had no spice at all. It shouldn't have spicy in the title. It was average, it didn't really wow me with any real flavour. The chips are nice as are the rice. However considering the reputation either the food has changed or something. In my opinion a lot of the items are not made in house but bought hence they don't have that quality feel or taste. The hummus etc is very runny and lacking. The cheese in the meatball didn't seem to be the best either as it become hard within a few minutes of cutting it open. The actual meatball didn't have much to it either. To be honest, around half of the starters and mains we didn't eat as it wasn't enticing or flavourful. However this could be individual taste expectations I guess.

The ingredients are fresh and the heat is just right, especially their signature dishes, which have a unique and memorable taste. It is worth mentioning that the service staff Dali not only had a warm attitude, but also was particularly attentive. He took the initiative to introduce us to the signature dishes on the menu and always paid attention to our needs, making the entire dining process very enjoyable. His service made us feel at home, and we sincerely like this restaurant!
