What a great experience, Great menu with lots of choice. Light choices through to monster portions, something for everyone. Food was delicious but the theatre that came with our order was brilliant!! Fire flames, dry ice, dancing and singing, the staff were absolutely brilliant and all went out of their way to make us feel welcome and made it such a fun evening.

Best restaurant ive ever been to, went for my 21st. All the servers we so funny especially Abde rafie.

Abderafie was great as a waiter. He helped us with anything we needed and made sure we were happy during our meal. Couldn’t sing his praises more, amazing and genuine guy!

The steak was excellent, especially the tomahawk and Azad was a fantastic with his recommendations and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Having been here every year over the past few years, its sad to see the quality in food decrease despite prices increasing drastically. Paid £28 for a steak (Used to pay £20) and as someone who eats a LOT of steak, I can tell you the cut of meat was worth £5 maximum and you can make it better yourself at home with a Sirloin from the supermarket. Best thing about this place is the atmosphere, wouldn't recommend the NY steak or BBQ wings.

The food was less than expected. I ordered lamb chops, which I saw in the pictures. They looked beautiful. They came to me, very large and muscular, and they say, “Um… I couldn’t eat them.” I ordered slices of steak, which had a disgusting taste. You had to put spices on them, and it did not come with sauce. We ordered a skewer kofta. The presentation was excellent and the taste was average. The appetizers were okay. The visit as a whole did not satisfy me.

We have been here a few times and it used to be one of the few turkish steakhouses in Manchester. However, now there are so many more options that offer the same experience. The food is of good quality, the service is friendly and very "special ". The service is more of a show than just simple service and the food, of course, is part of the show. I feel that it is however, extremely overpriced.

I rarely give 5 in ratings. But our experience in this restaurant was exceptional. Quality of food and service was excellent. I tried the classic burger and my wife the lamb shank. Both were good. Prices are high but worth it for the quality food and the big portions.

Ordered two steaks (filet mignon and medallion), both medium. One came well-done, the other was half rare, half medium-rare. When I complained, they took it and returned it burnt. Service was slow—waited over 10 minutes just to get anyone’s attention. Dessert (baklava with ice cream) was served with the ice cream already melted. I had to go to the counter to pay, and when I declined the service charge, the staff spoke rudely in Turkish to a colleague. Unprofessional and not worth the price.

Ordenó dos filetes (filete mignon y medallón) , ambos medianos. Uno vino bien - hecho, el otro era mitad raro, mitad medio - raro. Cuando me quejé, lo tomaron y lo devolvieron quemado. El servicio fue lento, esperó más de 10 minutos solo para llamar la atención de cualquiera. El postre (baklava con helado) se servía con el helado ya derretido. Tuve que ir al mostrador a pagar, y cuando me negué a cobrar el servicio, el personal habló groseramente en turco a un colega. Poco profesional y no vale la pena el precio.

Atmosphere is lovely, songs play all throughout and waiters sing and dance to it, very lively. Service is impeccable and food is 10/10

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Our waiter, Azad, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Great restaurant and great taste. Portion sizes are limited as compared with prices. Ordered slow cooked beef, which turned out very soft and tender. Turkish sauces and bread were amazing as well. Cheesecake was the worst, don't order it. Rice was okayish. The atmosphere is amazing, and staff really steals the show. Overall recommended. NCP is right besides the restaurant if you are looking for parking. On street parking is available as well but limited.

We visited Echi Mehmet in Manchester for my birthday for their Sunday roast. We chose it because there aren’t many places offering halal Sunday roasts in Manchester. We arrived at 4:30 PM — the restaurant was empty when we got there but quickly filled up. The location is great, right next to a car park, only about a 30-second walk. The roast itself was nice — we had the chicken and sirloin — and we did get a big amount of food, though it was quite expensive as roasts go. We also paid £3.50 for a tiny pot of extra gravy, which felt like an overcharge. Mocktails were nice. Service could have been better — we weren’t asked how we wanted our steak cooked, how the meal was, or if we needed anything else, none of the staff seemed like they wanted to be there if I’m honest. Overall, it was nice to try once because of the halal option, but we probably wouldn’t go back.

I come to Etci Mehmet often with my family because both the atmosphere & food is fabulous every time. The Istanbul night was amazing. There were different acts performing throughout the night which was great entertainment whilst we enjoyed our food. My favourite was the Saxophone player & flame dancer. The staff were in high spirits as always, interacting with the entertainment and guests. Very welcoming and accommodating to all. Overall 10/10 experience and a restaurant I’ve already recommended to all.

One of my favorite restaurants—excellent food and top-notch service. The manager, Asad, is incredibly thoughtful and attentive.

We visited mid afternoon on a week day. So was very very quiet. Personally we were not impressed. The food was ok but the meat lacked flavour and very few sauces given so felt very dry. Given the price we were disappointed. The lamb chops were the only expectation to the above. The beef dishes were really disappointing. The service was good from the staff friendly and polite, however we had 4 different waiters/waitresses in our 2 hours. So food we ordered didn’t arrive, we asked and it was then forgotten again as the waiter had changed. Then overcharged on the bill as the new waitress wasn’t aware that some food was never bought out. That really was disappointing again especially given the price. The restaurant has a nice feel. However felt dark and music was very loud. Overall, given the price of the food and how quiet it was we were left disappointed.

Came here on a Monday evening for the first time without a reservation. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and such a vibe the minute we walked in… Entertainment and food were both excellent. The only downside was the chicken steak we ordered, should’ve been served with steamed vegetables instead of half a plate of cold salad🤦🏻‍♀️ We were offered it as complimentary, but we had almost finished eating by that time. The peppercorn sauce wasn’t great either which you had to purchase separately. Will try the mushroom sauce next time. The highlight was the amazing baklava with Turkish tea, which was absolutely amazing!!! Will definitely visit again soon xxx Overall and amazing night and experience.
