Etci Mehmet Steakhouse in Manchester

The food was good enough but nothing special about it, the service was ok, the atmosphere was absolutely annoying! Fire show and a smell of the gasoline and servers singing and shouting and trying to feed customers! I reckon that most of their customers are there just to shoot their Instagram videos and take photos! The Prices are absolutely ridiculous!

Am writing this review because I was very glad with our service in the restaurant, the restaurant manager Mohammad was very generous with us and our son, he brought many things on the house for him, he was very pleasant person, who really loved his job and his customers, the food was tasty, one note about the bread wasn't fresh enough, but generally I definitely would come back with my family.

This was by far one of the most loveliest experiences i have had at a restaurant. All of the staff are very hard working and friendly and help make the atmosphere very lively. Would definitely recommend this and i would definitely come back.

ETCi Mehmet Steak House truly impressed with their T-bone steak. The ambiance was inviting, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The T-bone steak was cooked to perfection, with a mouthwatering char on the outside and a tender, juicy center. Each bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the quality of the meat and the expertise of the chefs. The chicken steak was also good in flavor and tenderness. The service and staff was really amazing T bone steak 9/10 Chicken steak 8/10 Baklwa with ice cream 8.5 /10 Virgin mojito 7/10 Service and presentation 10/10

This is definitely my favorite restaurant experience! All waiters provide service at the highest level, everyone is smiling and dancing. When I ordered the steak, it was grilled at my table with a big flame and a fire show. Baklava is also served in front of your eyes with a little show, everything is given to taste even from the hand of the waiter! 😄❤️ I will definitely want to come back!

A little wait for our table on arrival, with tables very close together once sat down. The food was nice, we had the burgers and a few starters. It was a shame that we had only just finished our starters and the mains came over without the starters even being cleared away. It felt very rushed to get us to leave which we only stayed for around 50 minutes in total for having mains and starters.

Such a disgusting experience, our second visit did not compare at all with our first visit. We made a booking for Valentine’s Day, we been asked to pay £20 to secure our booking which we did do and been told it will be deduced from our bill. We went we ordered our food to then see that everything been ordered been delivered to another table, we then finally received our started after 20 mins even tho the restaurant wasn’t even busy, we finshed with our starter we waited 20 more mins to then the waiter to bring us the started again which we had to tell them we had it already and we just want our main foods, when we got the mains food was missing which we had to tell them about. We left the restaurant paying the bill and the deposit we paid have not been deducted which we realised couple hours after. I rang up the restaurant telling them about the situation which they said they will look into it and give me a call back. I haven’t receive any call back so I had to call again which then the girl said she will have to find our bill which then she did find and confirm it with me. She said she will pass that on to her manager and give us a refund. After a week I called them again as we didn’t receive the refund yet and she said she will get that sorted out for us. Until this day after almost a month we didn’t receive a single penny back. Such a rubbish behaviour!

Last Monday I went to this fantastic restaurant, during my visit in Liverpool. We didn't book and we went quiet late.It was around 9.30pm. Despite the time the staff were very welcoming and accommodating.They quickly found us a table and made sure we were comfortable. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with tasteful decor and dim lighting.There is a large meat display were you can see the meat and its freshness. The waiter Raja took our orders promptly and was very knowledgeable about the menu. As it was late and im not a very big eater we had a medium rare T-bone staick to share between the two of us.And two side dishes. The steak was cooked perfectly to our liking and was incredibly juicy and flavorful.After our meal one of the staff offered us a lovely turkish tea, which was lovely to have after a hearty meal.The price was fair for the quality and portion size of the meal we had.We will defently go back and try other dishes on the menu.

Went for a meal was disappointed with the service too rushed ,starters and mains came together followed by the bill on the table to get us out as quick as possible. Could have gone to McDonald’s if I wanted a quick meal and the food quality would have been better. Won’t be going again.

Visiting Etçi Mehmet with friends was a blast. The relaxed atmosphere and moderate music made for a perfect catch-up spot. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was impeccably clean. Our starters, Crispy spring rolls with Turkish sausage and feta cheese, were delicious, and the cranberry and apple juice were refreshing. For our main course, we enjoyed the Grilled Salmon with Turkish rice, charred broccoli, and Salted chilli, which was flavorful but fell short in spice for our Nigerian taste buds. The only downside was the dim lighting, which made it challenging to take clear photos. Overall, we had a good experience, and if you're seeking a relaxed Turkish dining spot, Etçi Mehmet is a great choice.

Tasty turkish food, decent sized portions. Food was pricey though and no alcholic drinks are served. Service was ok but the staff missed an item that we had ordered which was amended on the bill. Not sure why dry ice is used and what purpose it serves. It was busy for a tuesday night.

Very poor service. With the mixed grill we asked for the lamb chops if they could be cooked a little more, we received 2 more different lamb chops that were cooked less than the 2 we sent back. We mentioned to the staff about a food allergy, we were told 'nothing in the menu has that in it', after we ordered another lady came over and told us not to order certain things as they contained the allergy.. Staff just seemed more interested in their fire displaces and waving food around, shame really as it was in a nice location with nice decor.

Food was excellent and plenty of it. Don’t go here if you want a quiet meal, it’s a very noisey dining experience with loud music. The waiters doing stuff with fire seemed rather dangerous, surprised it’s aloud in such a confined space. Felt rather rushed once we had decided we didn’t want dessert. The bill was brought pronto and were ushered out.

I made the reservation based on all the positive reviews of this place, but unfortunately our experience has veen TERRIBLE! I made a reservation for myself and my partner at 8pm and we didnt get seated in the restaurant until 8:27pm...yes, only 27 minutes late. It would of been longer had we not prompted one of the waiters that we had been waiting for a long time to be seated at our table. Anyway we finally got to our table and, i must say, its a very aesthetic/instagram worthy setting. Unfortunately, thats as good as it got... We didnt have our order taken until 8:40pm, and that was just for drinks, which also didnt turn up until 8:50pm, we only ordered 2 coca colas, we were waiting so long the starters came out before our first drinks. It was as if they were making the drinks recipe from scratch. Low and behold they came out in small 250ml bottles at £5 each. To add we kept seeing big groups (5-10 people) be taken in very quickly, smoothly, and be attended to at the highest importance. One group of 8 were in the restaurant for all of 40 minutes and were gone again because of the quick service. Clearly they think big groups are more important than couples. Starter of wings was okay, but nothing special. But the mains unfortunately were very basic, the classic burger was no different to that of a burger king, and the meat in the kebab was very dry, needed to be smothered in condiments. We expressed our frustrations to the "manager" and all he could offer was to remove the service charge (which was only £3) and offer a cup of tea...if that was an attept to calm us both down, you failed! To summarise, after being left to essentially fend for ourselves, p*ss poor service, and be served what can only be compared to as a [not very] "fast food" meal, and to not be refunded to that of a worthy manner, we will not be returning. May i suggest you only book if you go as a group of 5 or bigger!
