Sadaf in Manchester

Extremely poor service and very expensive food. The mix kebab was absolutely old and disgusting.

Staffs are very nice and taste is amazing

Well i had qabuli pulao which didn’t had its taste well and meat was a mission to eat with it . Seemed like pulao is different cuz it had no taste and meet different

Ordered lamb namak handi but got beef instead no explanation looks like they took out the meat from kabuli rice even though I told them it's my first time so do make sure it's lamb won't be going back here again absolutely disappointing

The Kabuli Pilau rice was lovely and fragrant with additional flavourful kebabs adding to the balance of sweet and savoury together.

Ordered Kabli Pulao, Very tasty, just the way it should with sauces, huge serving, 2 people can easily eat in one meal. Great service & quiet atmosphere. Have the toilet upstairs , nice & clean. Really happy to visit here today and will be visiting onwards for authentic charcoal grill and bbq stuffs... Keep it up

Absolutely mouthwatering delicious Al-Faham. Paired with salad and the most delectable chilli sauce. Honestly so great, so good. Not a fake review. You can’t get good food for under £10 these days but here you can!! Please go, you won’t be disappointed.

Guy in the store tried to rob me as I was in a rush, I asked him I want a meal that you can make the quickest as I was on job and on my break, he said that's fine and told me £8, when I paid and touch my contactless in a rush but I realised it wasn't £8, he tried to sneak £1 out of me. So i don't trust this Thief resturant anymore, don't know what rubbish he puts in the food just to fill his pockets with more money.

We usually order the Kabuli pulao, Namak mandi which are just amazing. Staff is really friendly.

Tried for the first time, Tastewise sorry to say really bland just like boiled rice. No flavour,not even salty. Really bad food.I added salt and pepper to make it taste ok.

Great place. Very fresh and delicious food. My husband and I went just out of curiosity into this restaurant while taking walk in that area. Staffs are really warm and fairly fast service.

Excellent kobedeh, both the beef and chicken.

We had a quick bite with wife and brother in law and not bad at all. The chicken kebab and rice was fresh and tasty the grilled sea bass fish not so great as seemed a little undercooked. The seating area was clean and functional with the extra naan served quickly. The pricing was on the high side and they dont serve diet coke but still worth a visit to the curry mile!

Came from birmingham with the family yesterday. New to manchester. Decided to go here whilst walking down wilmslow rd. cant stress enough how great the food was!Huge generous portions, friendly fast service. Whole family loved the food and would go again. Would definitely recommend

Thse guys have upp'ed their game. Their Chicken on the bone is now done a BBQ. One of the best I've tasted anywhere. Kobeda kebab is one of the best around aswell.

Excellent alfaham (roast) chicken with pulao rice. Also tasty kebabs and delicious naan bread. Hygiene is top notch. Prices very reasonable.

Have known Sadaf for 20 years, was our regular as students because the food was good and the owner is a top guy, he's like family, well loved. Best Kobeda on Wilmslow Road. Lots of seating upstairs is good for families, is a clean place, highly highly recommended

I dined in the restaurant and i loved the food. You will get authentic Afghani food. Faham and shinwari karahi are to die for. Even kebabs were so juicy and amazing. They make everything fresh for you. Will definitly visit for Afghani food again.

Visited Safaf after many years. Noticed it had been refurbished since my last visit. It was clean and had a great atmosphere. They had toilets, which were clean, and although they were upstairs and the area was closed, the nice brother in front allowed me to use the facility. I ordered the mix of kobeda and chicken tikka on nan to eat in and was truly amazed at the freshness and flavour of the food. Although I like my food with some spice, this food wasn't. However, I wasn't disappointed, I loved the charcoal taste and how tender the meat was. The chilli is freshly made, and the brother topped us up when requested without any hesitation. Sadaf is a true gem on Wilmslow Rd amongst all the new hype of burgers, etc. Prices are also reasonable for the portions received, and the service was great. Will definitely visit again next time I am in Manchester. Well done, brothers, keep it up.

I love the koobideh kebab and rice. Something that I always get at this place. The rice is fragrant and well seasoned with things like raisins and vegetables mixed in the rice. You can honestly eat the rice on its own but the kabab is that icing on the cake.

The food is excellent the chicken is delicious was the rice was yummy but when it got expensive I never went there ever again because the prices gone up

Always a pleasure visiting Sadaf for food. The Afghani pilou rice with fresh sauces, salmon and salad always hut the spot. The mixed Kubeda with naan bread are not to be missed either.

This the best grill and tandoori restaurant in the most competitive place for food in UK and probably in Europe. Today I returned with my family to have a dinner in the curry mile, I picked Sadaf as I wanted to show my kids and family the place I used to have dinner every day when I was student 15 years ago. I left Manchester in 2008. As soon as I crossed the door, the owner Ali recognised me and was pleased to see me again. I was also very happy to see he managed to grow and maintain his restaurant despite the many deep changes and fierce competition. Guess what we had the same authentic steamed tasty rice with tandoori grilled chicken, bee and lamb. The standards and the service were maintained high. When I asked for the bill that was for 4 people, the owner said I was on the house as he was pleased to see a loyal customer coming back after all those years. I was too emotional to say Thank You properly and fully express my gratefulness, but here I can say not only the food is Authentic the people are also Authentic. I am sure you will be in business and flourishing in the next 15 or 20 years. Thank You 👌👌👌💚💚💙👍

Excellent quality food for a little joint considering there's so many options available on Wilmslow road. The generosity of the staff is unreal, numerous times they give me extra's and even let me off the bill if I am a little short. Really impressed with the customer service as well as the food, I couldn't rate this place highly enough and if I am feeling rice and chicken or kebab this is my go to place without a shadow of a doubt. The rice is made fresh everyday day as I questioned how it tastes so good... be there after 3pm for the freshly cooked rice. This joint puts alot of the big boys to shame definitely... and I am foodie, check the rest of my reviews to see other places I have been, again another honest review from me. Keep up the good work.

A very nice restaurant with a very reasonable price for food. During my visit only one staff was working, he was preparing the meals and maintaining the cleanliness of the place in a very efficient way. Well done.

This resturent changed its name to "Al-Bukhary". The food is very good snd reasonable prices.

I drive from Bradford to come here for food. Very nice and since it's had a refurb it's looking a little closer to 2020. but don't let looks put you off the food here is 100% spot on.

Good food although at times it can take some reminding about the orders and waiting for the food. Is not the busiest of places but it seems that significant numbers of people come to take out food, detailing the quality of it. The seating and immediate environment are quite basic, it is a takeaway with seating rather than a proper restaurant. Saying that, the place is quite clean.
