Very lovely environment . Superb service with quick responses and bring out time . The waiter sara is very kind and along with all the other waiters , would recommend to everyone. Free parking for customers opposite the restaurant

Very family oriented even though they were busy it was our first time here yesterday and loved it very nice very reasonable £34 for an platter you can't complain fresh chips food mouth-watering and tasty and flavoured very fulling all the staff there was very nice and friendly and very good at making sure we was okay would be back here again love the strawberry daquri mocktails 10 out of 10

We had my graduation dinner at this restaurant in December and the food was amazing, I don't have words to describe it, the meat was really good, they served us complimentary starters and I couldn't get my hands off the bread, it was damn good. I absolutely recommend this restaurant, the food is good; well seasoned, the ambience is nice, the service is lovely. It's a 5 star from me. Will definitely visit again

really enjoyed our visit to istanbul restaurant manchester! really tasty turkish food, full of flavour and spice, really clean ambience and extremely hardworking and nice waiters/waitresses. while the price may seem a bit high, trust me, you're paying for quality. we came as a family of 6 (2 preteens) and the attentiveness of our waitress Sarah will never be forgotten! thank you so much Sarah and all the other waitresses (especially the one we took a picture with (sorry i forgot to ask for your name, so if it is you please comment back with your name) and waiters attending to us throughout the day and patiently and skillfully explaining the recommended dishes to us. also really appreciated seeing how clean the place was and respectful the staff was, even despite it being VERY busy at around 9pm! you go team ❤️ it just showd how much the place is loved by the locals. can't wait to be back! what a spot, will definitely recommend to our other friends - 9/10

Really enjoyed the meal, ordered the full platter for 4/5. Decent and filling and worth the price imo. Thank you Sarah for making our experience the best it could have been. Really clean ambience, polite staff and gorgeous decor. Seems like it’s popular too, because at 8/9 it was very busy Will be back !

We love the food at Istanbul Cheetham Hill. The staff are so lovely, in particular Sara, who served us today. She was attentive and looked after us. She always came over to check on us, even though it was crazy busy! The food is always on point and has never let us down. 😊

Tasty food, lovely staff, lovely atmosphere, and considering how busy it was, the service was still extremely fast! Had a couple of sauce refills and bread with no extra charge, and free Turkish tea at the end of the meal. Definitely will visit again, and highly recommend this place 👍

Food was great especially the lamb shish and the ribs it had the amazing taste so juicy and the workers were amazing especially the cashier Komal she was phenomenal and she was friendly such an amazing person may God bless her.

It has good atmosphere however service is zero, i asked for something never appear again. The foods are expensive in compare to other restaurants even buffet will be cheaper and good choice instead.

Food is delicious. we ordered the jumbo platter for 5-6 people, however there were only 4 lamb chops in this platter. I then asked the waiter if this was a mistake (and if it was to bring us another one) and I was told that that was the portion size and he could not bring me one. This was a bit disappointing as I do not understand the logic of having 4 lamb chops between 5-6 people. Either give enough for 6 or do not give it at all. The cold starters were also very small for this platter and there was way too much rice, they should definitely re-consider their portions. Apart from this staff members were lovely and the service was quite fast. However, I do not recommend ordering the platters.

I celebrated my birthday yesterday at Istanbul Grill with my family, and it was absolutely amazing—just like last year when I came here for my birthday as well! Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff were incredibly accommodating and quickly found us a table. The food was exceptional, full of authentic flavors, and the service was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully cooked and served with care. Honestly, I find the Turkish food here in the UK to be even better than what I’ve had in Turkey itself—and I visit Turkey every year! The warm and friendly atmosphere, combined with the incredible food and attentive staff, makes Istanbul Grill a perfect spot for any occasion. Thank you for making my birthday so special again! Highly recommended!

The food was delicious and the portions are very generous. The employees were helpful and attentive. We were served by Sarah and she was super helpful. A nice restaurant to try for sure.

I mean we went there late, and I paid and didn't get any change. The food was nice...for what I had the rest was wolfed down by someone else whom I guess was more hungry than us and even though we all paid equal share, he took the most of it. But yeah, I didn't get any change. I guess it's their tip...not dissing the place. But it would be nice to get change and then offer the tip...nice food if you have exact change. lol We spent approx £20 each between 5 people and there was still enough to go around...if greedy guts hadn't taken it all. As it was a takeaway I can't really judge the service but 1 star taken away for not giving change.

Nice open atmosphere. The staff need to work on their welcoming and friendliness, a few of them seem very miserable and/or cold and so that is quite off putting and would be the main reason why I would look at visiting competitors and alternatives. As for the food, very good authentic Turkish food. Hats off to the chef.

Don’t like leaving bad reviews on peoples businesses but unfortunately I have to the food was rubbish. My lamb chops was so chewy you couldn’t even cut the meat. It was impossible. The bread was cold. You got people smoking on top of you. It’s really expensive. We paid our bill at the end and was followed out by the manager to ask if we have paid and of course we have He’s excuse to that Was he thought we got the wrong Bill All these good reviews must be fake. This place is a dump it’s overrated and the food is absolutely poor. Please go elsewhere thank you.

This place is great, I came here for my son's birthday and we were served plenty of quality food at a quick rate. The ambience of the restaurant is great and relaxing. We were served by Sarah, she is very quick and she makes sure it is every customer's experience is great. I would highly recommend to my friends and I see myself visiting again.

Have been ordering from this restaurant for a couple of years. Food is good, but the recent increase of prices is unacceptable. In understand a little increase on price (like it has happened in the past) but more than 25% price increase on the mix grill for one is just too much. Disappointed. Won’t be recommending this place anymore.

I ordered a lamb chop with rice, but in my opinion it was not lamb it was sheep’s meat because it was a bit chewy- hard and the rice was cold, I let the waiter know then he brought me a new warm rice with apology. all the waitor and waitresses been very professional and the girl I asked her name SARA she was very friendly with great customer service. However, I recomend to try this restaurant’s food. it was very clean and the service was great.

Came in for a very late dinner, and had the best food orders chicken and lamb diner, also chicken and diner seesh, really nice and unique combination of food. Customer service from Sarah was 1000/10, she recommended the perfect meals for us, and was very patient with us as we took our time, but always smiling and good customer service from Sarah. Honestly would recommend coming here with family as it’s a very warm and friendly place. :)

Kebabs, lahmacun, pita especially pita 🫠 were delicious! The flavors rival the good kebab restaurants in Turkey. Although it is difficult to get the same taste abroad, Istanbul Restaurant has achieved this, congratulations.

I went here last month for a work meeting with a potential employer, and it was a disappointing experience. The food was undercooked, and the wait staff was unreliable, causing significant delays. The bartender, Heyder, seemed more focused on chatting with someone than doing his job and was quite disrespectful. I wouldn’t visit this place again.
