Went to book this restaurant for a birthday meal with my friends. The restaurant claimed they called me 6 times to confirm the reservation, when they called only once. First lie. Second lie, they claimed I never called them back when I blew up their phone multiple times with calls which they did not recieve because it was always “User Busy”. When I finally got through the woman on the phone had so much attitude and was constantly patronising me. They then told me I had to pay a £10 deposit per person which was fine with me. I told them multiple times I didn’t want the shisha lounge and they kept mentioning it. When I asked her how was I mean to pay the deposit because there was no option to online, she got rude and told me that I was meant to do it over the phone like it was so obvious. I was trying to understand the process of this and she continued to be rude and not even try to explain it to me. So I asked to cancel my reservation. I’m so glad I’m not booking with this disgusting, unprofessional place. Take my warning and don’t even bother booking with them. BTW I’ve linked the call logs since these liars claimed I never called them

Went for my son's birthday, just 3 of us. Arrived at 7.30, of course were offered drinks quickly but had to wait until 7.50 for order to be taken. Got starters at 8.10, we then waited until 9.10 to get our main courses! My fish mixed kebab was cold but was starving so didn't send back. We asked a couple of times what delay was and were told "kitchen is preparing." I didn't want to be asked during this time if I wanted another drink, just wanted my food! This was last night (a Wednesday) and there were only three other tables occupies in entire restaurant. We asked to speak to the Manager who informed us they were giving us a "break" . We didn't ask for an extended break. No explanation given for delay. They did offer money off bill, but when we got bill it was less than 10%. Complained again and they said they would take service charge off (isn't that discretionary)? Still paid over £100 for appalling evening. Have been here before and Service was ok, but charging £25 for some fish and Rice the service needs to be much better, good job restaurant was almost empty or there would have been chaos. Will never go back.

Have been a regular customer for many years. Excellent service , staff very friendly and professional, food always fresh and delicious, high quality drinks. Always amazing whether you eat in or take away. Highly recommended it!

I had a proper dinner with lamb ribs, some cold and hot mezes, a couple of beers. Paid £34 and worths every penny. You can taste the high quality ingrediants when you keep eating.

Friendly staff and good food. We have been a few times and the restaurant has always been on the quieter side and unsure why as it’s great! Cocktails also really nice and great presentation.

A huge disappointment! The food was good but we ended up with an additional £43 on our bill due to our ‘mid-understanding’. We ordered 2 portions of meze starter and 2 portions of main platter but were charged for 2 meze and 4 platters, we feel truly ripped off and will not return.

This was a buffet style place with a very limited range. You could keep returning to the buffet but we really didn't want to because the food was decidedly average. Decor is... odd and the staff were lovely.

Great food, excellent price cos it was a groupon, fantastic service from Sezer. Spot on. You won’t be disappointed. It was a 6.30 booking, so pretty quiet, as expected.

Had a family birthday celebration and cant reccomend the food highly enough,something for everyone from the 7 year old to the 68 year old.Only down it does need an update interior wise and outside looked a bit bleak.

I’d love to make some comment here about the quality of the food, but I never got to try it. Two of us went in and ordered mixed kebabs, after 10/15 mins one of us was served, of course I naively expected mine to come pretty quickly. After 5 mins I asked the waiter where mine was, he went to the kitchen and an arguement seemed to ensure with lots of pointing at our table, then he came over as said my order had been sent to someone else and they were making me another one (fair enough mistakes happen). After 20 further mins, I said to the waiter I’d now waited longer than the original order took, twice I asked to speak to the manager and twice he just looked over at us and literally walked the other way. I understand that mistakes happen, but was is appalling is pretending they haven’t happened and managers or owners just ignoring it. If you want my advice, visit somewhere that values your custom more

We had an amazing family meal here on Sunday 29th September 2024. From start to finish we cannot fault a thing! The food was delicious, the secret garden at the back was cosy and welcoming. We got talking to the Manager, Apple, and she told us they had been there for 54 years - we can see why! We are from Glasgow, Scotland visiting friends. Whilst out and about, we googled “best places to eat in Greenwich” and found this place. Really glad we did - best meal out we had in the whole of London! I will post some pics, but they don’t really do it justice. If you are visiting the area or indeed, if you are local, you need to come here and experience how good this place is. Everything is homemade from scratch. We had the hummus, grilled halloumi and lahmucan to start. Then, we had the chicken burger, sirloin steak, chicken shish kebab and the children’s chicken kebab. The steak was served with homemade pepper sauce - a rarity in itself. Everything came with fresh, crispy salad and skin-on fries. Our only complaint is that they don’t do gift vouchers - yet. But! - Apple found a way and let us prepay for a meal for our friends. They will be coming for their meal really soon - after seeing our photos and listening to us raving about the place! Please start doing gift vouchers! 10/10. You need to come here for a meal, we promise you will love it! It was also reasonably priced - £149 for food plus drinks.
