Sortie Grill and Bar in Havering

We attended a birthday brunch today - there was around 25 of us - most people went for the unlimited Prosecco brunch and a few of us had the mocktail brunch When it came to settling the bill the Prosecco drinkers were charged £13 LESS than the mocktail drinkers. We were shocked. We was not told the price beforehand and was changed £55 plus service charge so £63 for a 2 course mocktail brunch. We asked to speak to a manager and no one had the decency to come to speak with us. I’ve never ever been to a brunch where someone essentially having juice is changed £63 and people having unlimited Prosecco are charged £45. Absolutely shocking. We were told this is because they have to “make the mocktail” that contained zero alcohol. I hope they re look at their prices as it’s barbaric and we will not be returning.

I was planning a meal for 18 individuals as part of a celebration. It was the type of celebration that couldn’t go wrong. It had to be perfect. I enquired about a private room and the restaurant catered to our every need. They were very attentive when trying to make arrangements. They answered all calls and replied to all emails promptly. They explained the process very clearly. We visited the restaurant on a Sunday and had a mix of Shish kebabs and Sunday lunch. I have to admit- the Sunday lunch wasn’t up to much- but the kebabs were nice. The best thing was the service. The staff were exceptional! So friendly and so helpful. They knew it was a family occasion and joined the celebrations whilst delivering a brilliant service. We had two members of staff look after us. A male and a female. They were both equally impressive and both did a brilliant job in looking after our table of 18! I trusted them with a special occasion and they delivered!

Excellent service and food. Very welcoming and nice atmosphere- very spacious. Have been here a few times and would highly recommend it.

Once again superb service.very hot fantastic food..had the three meat roast..it does not tell you the chicken is a tiny leg..not everybody likes eating off the bone..less veg and more meat would be great..but will keep going back.fab afternoon with friends.

Restaurant was very busy, service was good & nice atmosphere but their portions are 'Greedflation' cuisine sizes (Sell less for more profit). I chose (Because I was hungry) their so called Mixed Grill £26.00, when I got it, it was a joke for the price, it was the size of starter. So little, when we finished we were all still hungry, so we went up the road to the Wimpy bar ! Why it's classed as a mixed grill I'll never know, the square plate was near on empty there was so little served up as the meal. Unbelievably greedy management approach, we'll never be returning...

Terrible night for our friends birthday. We were told there had been a complaint as we were noisy. One of our friends has a hearing disability. She was mortified. We asked 3 staff who complained and the story changed with each of them. The manager was rude. People on tables near us joined in singing happy birthday to our friend. They had no problem with us. I work for local council and my disabilities team are mortified. We will never return but i will be taking forward with local councillor. Disgusting treatment

I had a surprise birthday bash here on Saturday 4/11/23, there was a group of 17. The service was excellent, the singer and dancer second to none and an absolutely great atmosphere. I have been here many times and highly recommend it. Fabulous afternoon. They are so accommodating and friendly.

We dined here yesterday celebrating birthdays with friends. From the moment we arrived the customer service was outstanding. We were topped up with drinks promptly, the food arrived just as prompt and was delicious! They even remembered birthday candles for our dessert. Special thanks goes to the lovely blonde waitress with the pony tail who couldn't do more for us. She was engaging, friendly, polite and really looked after us. She danced with guests and is an asset to this establishment which we fed back to the Manager during the course of the evening. Ashley the Donny lookalike singer was absolutely brilliant. Thank you Sortie for making our birthday celebrations such a special evening. We will be definitely be returning.

Usually have a nice evening here and the food is very nice but the way I was treated by the staff last night was unacceptable. Arrived to be told that they had no record of my booking for two people for dinner. When I presented a member of staff with a screen shot of my confirmation email the staff member called over who I assume to be the manager who was very rude and quite aggressively told me that a screen shot was not sufficient and he needed to see the original email. I then had to stand in the corner while others were seated while I quickly tried to search through my emails for the confirmation email. When I showed the manager the original email he then started questioning me on whether I had paid a deposit which I hadn’t as I was never prompted to do so. Rather than apologising for their oversight I was rudely told that they would “find” me a table on this occasion but in future I need to pay a deposit. This is all very well, but how is one supposed to pay a deposit if not prompted to do so and after receiving a confirmation email? I was made to feel like a huge inconvenience for daring to arrive for a booking I thought had been made, and made to feel like it was all my fault. Will not be returning here again.

We visited Sortie on a Saturday night with another couple and the whole experience was excellent. The food was fantastic and I can highly recommended the Adana Kebab! Drinks were reasonable price and they do the best Pinacolada I've ever had. Entertainment was top drawer too with a really good singer performing. Can highly recommended this venue.

Daughters birthday we went for lunch.and ate off the l7nch menu.was so good.me being nosey saw someone having the wrap.and i irdered the chicken and haloumi well it was amazin full of flavour .pancake with goats chesse and sea bass.we all.enjoyed it.and tirumasu for dessert with 3 spoons and with a candle .service very plesent .lovely couple of hours .thankyou.
