I’m rdwred large shish with chips and my nate ordered small shish with chips, i watched as they cooked the pitta breads, they then proceeded to serve us shish in a plastic container with rice with no chips for £14, never go here they dont serve you correctly and charge way to much.

I had ordered Ottomans special chicken doner kebab, and it turned out to be nice with bell peppers and mushrooms with a gravy. I liked the flavours personally. Best and fast service. Friendly staff.

It was like Paradise in my mouth. Ordered the mixed grill, well head and shoulders above my usual Kebab off 20 years. Only gripe the salad had no onions, but hey... Found my new Saturday kebab.

This is one of the best Turkish restaurants in Romford. I've ordered off them directly and through Uber Eats. Always consistent with quality and portions. Their food is always fresh and really tasty. I'm a big fan of their sharing platter for 2-3 people. It's a great portion with a nice mix of everything. Their doner is my favourite! Highly recommend.

The reason I am doing this review because, when the owner is not around the staffs don't do their job properly, in my last oder they didn't give chicken nuggets, which made my daughter really upset, one Box of rice was missing and one of the burgers was totally burnt really disappointed, we paid for the food but the staffs forgot to give all of the food,

Food was spot on tonight. First time trying this Turkish. Called up first regarding a friend with gluten intolerance and they were very helpful. Will be coming back again.

Container in which kebab is placed is now noticably smaller, and on my order was considerably less "packed" than on previous purchases. So basically now £2 more expensive for quite a lot less meat. Sadly will now have to look for another kebab takeaway or only visit on rare occasions. Tis a shame because it used to be great value.

Guy on the phone hasn't got a clue In mannerism and even taking correct the order. Food Is average at best. Plenty of better options out there. Last resort place if you're desperate only!

This used to be good quality, I have just had the worst chicken shish kebab I have ever had, they messed up my order and overcharged as I ordered 1 bugar/rice and they did 4 ordered 2 pitta charged for 4 basically charged for 4 meals instead of 2, I thought it was expensive, but to then have poor quality food on top made it worse, what kebab shop runs out of donner meat too, they even messed up the salad again poor quality, I will never order from here again, my recommendation is go elsewhere!

They are serving awesome food in this competitive market. They use the best ingrefients so far. Stafs are very friendly, only lack is they do not have seating arrangements. They do take away only. No question about the taste and quality of their food. I highly recommend this place.

I can say that I like well made tasty food and especially lamb shis. I love the taste of their lamb shis meet and garlic sauce combined with home made hot peper sauce, perfectly cooked mixed rice, my god... I... love it ,my all family LOVES IT . Not to mention, they upgraded to environmentally friendly recipients. Thank you for your service guys. George

Cash only. Without cash, you can order from their website and opt to collect it. Ok, 0.60p charged for the convenience, which I easily managed. The meat was plentiful lamb, chicken & Kofte mix. The salad was separate, fresh. And two breads. More than enough. Definitely recommend.

One of the best Turkish places in Romford. New to the area and struggled to find good halal turkish until I came across this place. Great variety of food, always arrives piping hot and great service all round. My favourite go to is usually the platter for 2-3 people. It can definitely feed more!

My parents go in the shop this evening and they make an order and all the order was wrong they have ordered some Chicken wings, chicken shish and some lamb shish …..they have ask for separate rice and chips…as 2 of us have a lamb allergies, but unfortunately the rice I have asked for to go with the chicken wings has gone with the lamp and the chips came with my chicken wings. I went back to the shop they treat me very badly . One of the waitresses he was nearly jumping on me to attack me !!

I have tried many Turkish takeaways but Ottomans Turkish at Mawney Road was exceptionally good. Foods were tasty and delicious. Lamb doners and chicken doners were exceptionally good and juicy. Kebabs were perfectly spiced up. The staffs are very friendly. I would definitely recommend others to try this place.

Poor quality food and not fresh. Staffs are extremely rude. Oil dripping from fries Food delivered 50 minutes after delivery due time. Won't eat there again at no circumstances.

Very nice for a takeaway and great value

LOVE THEIR FOOD..... My Husband and I have ordered from them before, the food is just so tasty, big portions which served us for a meal the next day aswell. The staff are very friendly, and accommodating to changing (what I didn't like).

Used to go here regular but with the prices through the roof and the lamb donor swimming in oil this place has gone down hill such a shame I go to Shen kebab they have new owners much better

I didn’t like the food there. I ordered food but instead of shіsh lamb, they put me so much bread inside with tomato pasta. I was so shocked. I open a box to eat lamb shish which instead of nice big chunks there were small slices of lamb and instead of meat a lot of saggy bread with tomato pasta. They didn’t mention that in the menu that there is a tomato pasta in that dish. I have high acidity and can't eat tomato pasta at all. It was a total surprise for me when I came home and open a meat box. The salad was old. I threw it away. The only thing I like from the entire meal is the rice, fresh bread and Greek yogurt. That’s it. I don’t recommend this place. A waste of money. Don’t bother to come there. They will be cheating on you to give you not a fresh salad and a lot of saggy bread in tomato pasta instead of meat. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

just went in at 8 o clock my friend asked for chips and they said they were closed clearly not with door open and sign saying open this place is awful would not rate at all!!

Best Turkish food everrrr! The price is reasonable, food is tasty and comes in big portions, it’s well cooked and both restaurant and delivery are friendly. I would order more if I could! 100% recommend trying.

I rarely bother to leave reviews, but I’m slightly obsessed with this takeaway. My favourite dish being the lamb wrap, absolutely delicious. You can tell they cook fresh and don’t use cheap meat. It’s a good job I don’t live next door because I could get really fat really quick! Please don’t change anything and give your chef a pay rise 💯

Kebabs are exceptional quality. The doner meat is particularly good and well made. So far I've ordered twice and think this may be one of the best Turkish restaurants around.

Everytime you call them after 8pm they are closed. Really used to enjoy this place now its a joke. How can you have a takeaway shop that closes by 8pm - 9pm. The food is good but this closing early is become a big joke.

Was looking for a healthy-ish dinner and found this place. To put it simply: the food was amazing! Arrived still warm, portions are big, delivery person was lovely, and most importantly the food was delicious! Everything was so tasty, will order again!

Terrible service I ordered a takeaway and waited 1 hour before I phoned and enquired where my order was, I was told it was out for delivery, another hour later I phoned again only to be told they don’t deliver to my postcode and I’d used them regularly for 3 years. The guy on the phone was obnoxious and unhelpful and basically lied to me saying the order had been cancelled by email. I had to go through PayPal myself and seek a refund. Never again and I’ll be telling everyone I’ve ever recommended these guys to never use them again.

Ordered twice called them the gentleman that took my order was friendly and followed my instructions and the second time was through ubereats again they followed my instructions ,both time the food was tasty and cannot fault it, l hope this continues and the service don't change

Very, very poor service. Ordered food, was running late. We phoned for an update and they assured us it was on its way. Finally, after 1 hour and 20 mins, they CANCELLED the order. Absolutely shocking service.

Kebab was divine, very succulent. Extremely generous Portions, so much that we had food left over for the next day. Salad and sauces tasted very fresh. Very good value for money. By far the best kebab you will have. Trust me.

Very tasty food. I would say after Sultans in ilford this is one of the best Turkish place for takeaway. Unlike most places these guys also know how to serve a good quality lamb doner

First time Ordered today Iskander and lamb doner had to bin it as the salt was too much to eat on its own. Yogurt came with iskendar was smelly and expired (watery and in chunks) had to bin that too! The portions were huge but what’s the point of it as it was not edible! Will not be ordering again!

Rubbish food rude people inside and expensive noway go there again

I've ordered twice from Ottoman Turkish. The both times I've ordered the food was delicious and full of flavour. We have order both times a family plater and the portions are quite large. When the food has been delivered, its always been rapid and the food is always hot/warm. All the meat's are Halal also. I would highly recommend Ottomans Turkish to anyone that enjoys the Turkish Cuisine.

Aweful experience. They got attitude problem. They lady in customer service is very rude and arrogant and same the owner. Food wasnt great. Burned and tasted plastic. They are doing monopoly business as no other turkish nearby this is why they got this stinky disgusting attitude. Please avoid this place!

Ooooh la la. Arkadash! You guys want real Turkish food, no need to go Turkey, even salt bae ain’t got nothing on these guys. Take away only at the moment but food is well worth every penny! Well done! Satisfying and good portion. Try the Kofte or the chicken wings. Make sure you get in some of that homemade garlic sauce for all you saucy ones out there!

Waited 40 minutes and then got a message saying they’d cancelled my order. Phoned them up and apparently they’d run out of food. This is at 9:45 on a Friday night, probably their busiest night so I find that hard to believe 🤷🏾 Wouldn’t have minded if they’d told me straight away but hey ho, won’t be using them again.

Order never turned up, apparently they couldn’t locate the driver. Never got an apology. It wasn’t about a refund, it was because you couldn’t deliver an order. The only reason you told me was because I rang you, every time I rang about the order you said you would call me back (three times) you never, I always had to ring you, you never even had the decency to tell me my order was cancelled.

Very disappointed heard great thing about this place, sadly I echo previous reviews - customer service is awful and I personally don’t think you get a lot for your money compared to where I normally go. Ordered food at 7.55pm - after 55 mins of waiting called to chase, was under the impression they hadn’t even started the order tbh. Advised we are busy it will be 10 Mins, another 15 minutes went by still nothing, called again - told they are busy- leave a bad review if you want, such a shame as many friends have told us to use, and thought this would be our new regular. Sadly not

I used to be a regular of this place until most recently both myself and mrs got food poisioning. I'll not be buying from here again. Which is a shame as i was a regular customer.

Received a wrong order. When contacted the restaurant the manager was very rude and refused to send a correct food .

Ordered on uber eats and well wow I wasn't expecting food of that flavour and quality the lamb shish and doner were banging packed with flavour. They did forget portion of chips but was not too fussed once tasting that lovely food was quite a lot of oil but took all the meat out and no problem. Keep serving fantastic food guys!!!!!!!!!

Used to like this place but their customer service has become awful. This is the last time I'll be getting my food from here, ordered 1/4 for the kids, asked for ketchup inside , they don't give it and the burger was very dry. But the worst was the Donner and chips. The bottom of the box was soaking with oil, I could have squeezed the oil out and refried the chips. Couldn't eat any of the chips, with the Donner or the burger. Unlike all other Donner places they don't actually give you salad with the Donner anymore. Everything is an extra.

Ordered a burger with salad and ketchup, when i was picking it up i was asked if its with ketchup. No ketchup or salad, ended up customizing burger at home. Not going back.

I'm normally a regular customer but I was very disappointed with my two recent orders. Previous to today's order a kebab that I requested with rice and bulgur only came with rice. Today I didn't get a lahmacun I paid for and I didn't get a rice and bulgur mix again, as well as a garlic mayo that one of the workers had promised. I won't be using them again.

The worse kebab I’ve had and didn’t even receive a pitta bread with it! Thought we’d give them another go but was definitely not worth the money! The meat was drowning in at least 1cm of fat, it was grisly, chewy, most of the meat was thick and no taste whatsoever.

Lamp shish wrap is the size that of a fork and costs £8! Also mixed doner wrap was so salty that was impossible to eat. I can’t believe how quickly the quality deteriorated.

Food OK but the prices are crazy high. A lot of rice not enough meat.

Disappointing food this evening. Went to the shop and ordered. Nobody wearing a face mask. My food was ready for more quickly than the time it would take to cook the chicken so I’m guessing I had something off the rack rather freshly cooked. On arriving home (300 yards up the road), chicken was dry and only warm and the chips were cold. Will look for somewhere else next time.
