Lovely as ever but bit of a mix up with order. Probably my fault as I forgot to order one item so cancelled and reordered. Order turned up early but two chicken shish rather than one shish and one doner turned up. Can't fault the food though.

Was served by such a lovely young girl, very well mannered and double checked my order before I made payment. She has a very good professional manner. I was served with smiles and basic human respect which really made my night after a long day at work However, whilst I was waiting for my food to be made and bagged the disrespect the men in this shop gave to the young girl is absolutely disgusting. They were all standing around constantly laughing and joking which is absolutely shameful towards the young girl and the fact that there were customers in the shop too. Management are very poor

Really disgusting man spoke so rudely to the staff and also refused to allow me to ask questions about the food I wanted to order. Very bad customer service from one man in particular who if he is the manager needs to be removed as he is disgusting and brings the entire place down.

Arrived barely warm, the kebab had obviously been sitting on the side for ages because the pitta was soaking wet. Also it took nearly 2 hours to come? Yeah not worth it I don’t think

best Kabab I've had in ages. the lamb Connor meat was beautifully cooked. The salad was so lovely. we even got a few extras which was a real treat for my children. Will definitely only order from thus place.

Food absolutely delicious, lamb doner meat really lovely, not greasy at all. Chicken shish, rice, roasted vegetables and salad also lovely. Half pounder with cheese also perfect. Can't fault the food, just delivery time is long. Maybe we will bear this in mind and order half hour earlier next time.

Never ordered from here before . I’m glad I did . I ordered an Xarge kebab. Decent amount of meat , Rice , one portion of salad and one pitta bread . Pitta was very soft . All was nice . It Arrived hot despite living in Elm Park. Delivery charge was very reasonable. I Would order again.

I have to say the chicken doner wrap was delicious i have not had a chicken doner like that in a while. My partner had doner meat & chips and the chips were lovely. Great service lovely lady served us was friendly and helpful. We will be ordering again. Thanks.

Open late which is ideal, had a chicken burger and chips was very tasty, the boss was very friendly even asked if I wanted to sit in and eat even though it was their closing time

great food every time but I think increasing the prices has made me greatly think about looking elsewhere. how can you justify the increase of an extra pitta bread from 90p to £1.50 ? chips, and everting else has increased too.

After a long day just after work I had a nice kebab and I can say that the only way in Upminster is Essex Grill and highly recommended. The service is excellent and I give them 10 out of 10. Thank you very much Essex Grill.

One of the best kebab shop in Upminster. I regularly visit this place and have an excellent time as their food are astonishingly good. The staff member are helpful and friendly. All in all won't be disappointed if it's your first time.

The food from here is normally lovely however I ordered a chicken Donna wrap the amount of oil/grease that was coming out of it I ended up using to plates as it was dripping so much my wrap became soggy and in the end I couldn’t eat it as it was just to much oil

The girl who serves my husband and I along with the rest of the staff always give us a warm welcome, thanks a lot guys! Been using Essex Grill for a few years now and have sampled many of the dishes, all great quality. The Essex full house offers a bit of everything on a bed of perfectly cooked large grain rice. For burger enthusiasts who are hungry, try the mega burger which is tasty and huge. Definitely recommended

Overall, food was hot and good. Delivery service was slow however was informed it was rather busy, so it easy understandable. Only issue is we didn't receive rice but pitta bread instead.

Went in Monday night with my wife and daughter and we all had the chicken kebab, absolutely lovely, lots of chicken, lots of salad and not just a bit of lettuce, but a proper salad. very tasty.

Been using this place for a while, especially when I finish a late shift as it used to be one of the only decent places to get some food late at night. However recently the quality of the food has been really bad, cold kebab meat and they often get the order wrong. Last night I ordered a mixed lamb and chicken kebab but when I got home realised they had only given me lamb! I don't know if there has been a change in management or the they have just let their standards drop, but I strongly suggest you rectify whatever is going on. Unfortunately I've had too many bad experiences here so you have lost me as a customer.

Collected from the shop this time but usually order via takeaway. Food is always good with a wide range of choice. Staff are always helpful and efficent.

You would think if you asked for a bit of meat and rice, then you would get some meat and rice, right? Well, twice I've done that, and they have failed to give me a single bloody grain! I get in there, specifically ask for rice (and I'm very specific because of last time), and pay for my takeaway. I trust the process. I get home, no bloody rice again. I'm not too happy, second time this has happened. Again, I find myself thinking, what the ruddy hell am I going to do with essentially a big pile of meat and nothing to go with it. Meat is boring and a little bit disgusting without something else involved.  You would think a kebab house employee would understand that, right? Call up, absolute faff! It seems like purposefully no one wants to understand that they messed up. Communication is very, and I mean very, poor. Eventually, they say they will send me some rice. The delivery driver (1 minute drive, 20 minute wait, just to clarify) gets to the door and asks for £4.90. The cheek of it! I thought they were sending the rice I bought and asked for, I wasn't making a new order for it. Let's think about this.. rice for £4.90! Are you mad, chaps? So, at the end of all this, here I am looking at a pile of average at best quality, cold meat on my table and again, I'm thinking, why the hell did I go back there and order from them again? It wasn't good last time, why did I give them a second chance? Still no rice. My suggestion is, if you do want to eat here, repeat your order in person often and potentially slowly as if speaking to a child or a family member that is coming out of anaesthesia. Do not presume that what you said a minute ago is still valid. Ask them to repeat your order clearly. Simply saying "Hello, do your dishes come with rice, I would like a dish that comes with rice." will unfortunately and unexpectedly not guarantee that you are actually ordering or will receive any of the aforementioned rice.

Brilliant 10/10 food was great

I have been using this restaurant for 4/5 years and over the last few month the standard has dropped to the point where the food is inedible. The kebab I order was so overcooked and rock hard, as you can see in the image and really greasy as I assume it’s been sitting in a pot for ages. I did try to raise this issue via there app but they didn’t really care.

I usually get kebab from this place and it’s always good. This time however. Ordered lamb shish kebab with rice £9.90… literally 6 pieces of lamb the rest is rice. Rise was good though. Also the lamb was chewy. Asked for just chillis for the salad, didn’t get that. But the salad is good, don’t really see how you can go wrong with salad tbh. First time ordering halloumi and it has no seasoning.. £8 for that.. Chips were meh. Pitta bread a little stale. All in all I wouldn’t order here anymore.
