The best restaurants serving Thai food in South East

Food was absolutely delicious. Very flavourful. I got the Pork Belly starter- melted in my mouth and was absolutely fantastic. I also had the Thai green curry main which was very flavourful with the perfect level of spice. Creamy and very moreish. The service was great. Eva was very friendly and made sure everything was to our tastes! Were given a complimentary dessert as it was my sisters birthday which was very kind, again thanks to Eva. The atmosphere was fairly dead but we did eat at 7 on a Sunday so not much more we would expect. Overall it was a brilliant dinner and we will definitely be back!

Had the ginger chicken and basil chicken, both meals excellent!! Rice was also. The sauces made the meal! Best Thai food we have had in a long time

I recently ate at the Horsham branch with my teenage son. We had a starter each. We had a main course. A older blonde lady took our order. Our starters came after quite a wait. When she took our plates the waitress said “you must have been starving you ate them so quickly” we had eaten them at a normal speed! Two small starters do not take too long to eat! After waiting for 20minutes I called over another waiter, he assumed I was asking for the bill, as we had been there so long. I said that, no, we were still waiting for our mains. The restaurant was not busy. He sent over the original waitress who took our order and she stated that because we were so starving and ate our starters so fast, our mains are on a timer and we’d have to wait! We waited 40 minutes from our starter until our main course. There was no apology for the wait. She just said that it was our fault for eating our starter so fast! I found this very odd and have never been given this explanation before. We will not be returning as I found her very rude.

We had a good experience having our team lunch there.

Not sure what's going on at Menu Thai right now as I seem to be running into issues with them actually picking up the phone to take orders. I really like this restaurant, but this is really testing one's loyality...

We’ve been going to this restaurant and getting takeaways from it for 15 years. It’s always been authentic and excellent until this evening. We had a takeaway that was very disappointing. Most of the food was very overcooked and much of it looked and tasted like it had come out of a jar/packet. I wonder whether it’s changed owners recently.

Ordered a takeaway. I have eaten from the Siam P for many years but the food quality has declined so much I will never go back. The starters were good but everything else was just awful. The red chicken curry was like water, thin and lacked actual chicken, beef massanan had the worst thin pieces of poor quality beef , the chicken cashew was massively overcooked and dry, the sticky rice inedible and the squid was breadcrumbed and lacked taste any Thai tate. For the price, it is incredibly poor. Not the Thai of old. Avoid and go elsewhere.

Spent the weekend down margate managed to book this hotel. I highly recommend a stay here it's a 10 minute walk from the beach front very nice staff and very clean hotel to stay in the rooms are fab can't recommend them enough. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

We were very disappointed with Lanna overall. Not been there since it was the Chao Praya River. Sadly the food didn't make us feel that we were back in Thailand.

Great food that I think keeps getting better. Always feels authentic experience and friendly staff.

My score system. 3=good 4=great 5=special. It's nice Thai food, nothing special. Went as a large group of 7, only 4 other diners. Starters took 20 minutes to come, then a further 30 minute wait for mains.

Fantastic food, great prices and quick service. I enjoyed the menu, there was a great staying arrangement too. Highly recommend.
