Great restaurant. Felt authentic. Great food and warm service. I had chicken satay to start and Pad see ew for main. Would recommend both.

What a great find. Four of us ate here and chose set menus A and B. The choice and quality of the dishes were superb. Duck, chicken pad thai, red and green curries, beef in oyster sauce highly recommended. Starters were also delicious. Service was friendly and efficient and it was good to see the chefs beavering away in the kitchen - always a good sign when the cooking is in the open! Well priced and highly enjoyable. All that was missing was a few more customers to give the place a bit more of a buzz: but that is the only negative I can come up with. My foodie son rayed it 10/10 - high praise coming from him.

This restaurant is a real gem. The food is delicious, my favourite is Tamarind duck. There is a good and reasonably priced wine list and some tasty cocktails. The service is just outstanding, everybody is just so friendly. We go regularly and always have a great experience. The prices are all reasonable and if you want a tasty Thai in the centre of Leatherhead then this is the place to go.

Fantastic Thai restaurant. If you ask, they will spice up the food, which has been toned down for British tastes. Good range of beef, chicken, seafood and veggie dishes.

We came for the lunch set menu: a mixed starter and choice of mains from a short selection. The mixed starter was fine; the sauce for the main was a little watery but the meat was tender and had excellent flavour. Good value at £16. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely come back.

Dishonest. Went to cashier counter to pay and was given 2 higher bills for payment. When asked on both occasions, cashier was not apologetic and merely changed the bill again. The manager came by and blamed me for paying at the cashier counter instead. Be warned and stay away unless you want to pay for others! Food was decent but then not worth the angry experience!

My first delivery from Pinto and I wasn’t disappointed. Very good food, ordered salt and pepper squid, chicken green curry, sticky rice and sticky coconut rice. Good portion size, food was delivered quite soon so got it nice and hot. Flavours were very authentic and the curry was perfectly spiced. The surprise package was the coconut rice which was amazing… had it as main and part of dessert too! ;) Only down side was the curry was bit too runny..rest everything was great! Will definitely visit the restaurant for dine in soon!

First of all, the restuarant is an absolute beauty - really pretty interior and everything is very authentic. The food is absolutely lovely, I'm happy with sweet and sour chicken and have been here a couple times and enjoyed it. The desserts were just heavenly - absolutely delicious and couldn't help myself. Would highly recommend and will be going back here again soon.

We have been recommended this restaurant but the starters were mainly lettuce. The Duck was small slices and ruined by spices and peppers and the meal came to just under £200 not recommended

Popped into this restaurant for a quick lunch on Sunday and we weren’t disappointed. Delicious and tasty fresh food. Great service and lots of choice on the menu. If we are back in the area we would definitely eat here again.

Had our works Christmas lunch here again... They catered for our table of over 20 very well. Great tasty food, plenty of it and served hot and lovely variety. Friendly and helpful staff... A good party and top grub enjoyed by all.

Very friendly staff and not badly priced, however found the salt and pepper squid to be a bit devoid of flavour and quite oily. The green chicken curry again nice but nothing outstanding with a high thinnish sauce to vegetable/chicken ratio and not a great deal of thinly sliced but tender chicken. Pad Thai high on peanut flavour but again a mediocre cardin compared to others we've had. Not bad but nothing I'd wish rush for.

This Thai restaurant offers decent food and table service was good. Doors were open so it helped a little to drown the noise of a group of guys oblivious to everyone else eating. Very happy with our meals which were delicious. Staff are friendly and there's a nice peaceful atmosphere about the restaurant. Had the meal deal with starter and main course. Drinks are a bit expensive but the drinks were nice though and the wine and beer we had were good quality beverages.

Friday night had the most awful quality take away, The egg fried rice was swimming in water and looked like rice pudding, The massanam was watery and duck poor quality meat. Pad thai was nothing but tasteless sticky mess of noodles and a few prawns, Cost £50 and will not be ordering from them again! Should never have been allowed to leave the kitchen in that state!!!

Best Thai food in Leatherhead - tasty and fresh at a good price .. very friendly staff when eating in and delivery. Last time I ordered delivery they accidentally forgot the thai crackers, I wasn't too worried, but later that evening their delivery person dropped round 3 packets to make up for it. Ordered takeaway and they got part of the order wrong. Rang to complain, they didn't really care that much and wanted to give us the correct items if we came in to the restaurant to eat - no thanks! They eventually promised to send out a cash refund which unsurprisingly never turned up. Food was OK, nothing special. Won't be ordering from there again.

The staff were absolutely charming. The food was delicious - for a vegetarian (pescatarian really, so fish sauce ok) and a committed carnivore (it can't just be that we chose well!). What more do I need to add? Parking is more difficult in the restaurant-heavy High Street than it was so we parked - free - in Sainsbury's/Swan Centre multi-storey - only a short step away (for the able-bodied). A great evening.

It was our first time as we just read reviews online and booked. This place is sooo welcoming and very very tasty food. We celebrated my sister in laws birthday and they went over and beyond my expection. Fabulous food and the crown on the jewel was the fantastic service and a surprise delicious cake they presented on the house for my sister in law... Wow!! I will surely visit again and highly recommend this fabulous Thai restaurant.

I used to go to this restaurant since 2011, had business meetings and even dating. The last time I went with my wife for lunch we had been refused entry because I did not want to give my name details for the track and trace app. This will be my last visit - unless they stop their unconstitutional control. You would not know this is the country of the Magna Carta.

Leatherhead really needs the option of a Thai restaurant, and whilst this place has a perfect location and relatively nice feel to it on the inside, it is massively let down by the food quality. Its not a place you will walk out of saying how good the food is but if they can improve that then I would think about returning more often. Don't bother with take aways from here as that only seems to even worse. All in all, this is a place that feels like it should be better than it is. There is potential but doesn't quite work.

I’ve been ordering take away from Thai Pinto during the last UK lockdown, after a chance discovery via a web search and can honestly say they are one of the best tasting & authentic Thai restaurants around. I certainly haven’t tried all the dishes on offer but would highly recommend the chicken massaman curry, honey chicken and coconut rice. Delicious!

We ordered delivery and it wasn't cheap. Satay was not cooked in the middle I had to finish in a pan at home. Brocolli was old and not pleasant. The pad thai was sickly sweet and slimy. Honey chicken again overly sweet but not too bad. Even my kids didn't eat the ribs which were truly disgusting. The egg fried rice was OK and the bok choi edible. The kitchen needs to have a work over to get this restaurant back on track and up to standard with similarly priced Thai restaurants in the area.

Amazing food, high quality ingredients. The perfect choice if you want to taste Thai specialty. Do not miss the beef in black been sauce, crispy duck and save room for deserts. Sunday you can have a buffet lunch for just £15.00 per person.

We were very dissatisfied with our delivery Thai. It was very expensive for poor quality. Was it chefs larder (mass produced cheapest of the cheapest, low quality base sauce? I would put my money on it - past experience in the restaurant trade). Very disappointed as I would love to support the local restaurant but I unfortunately would not recommend this to anyone). The Tom Yum soup was tasteless apart from the lemon grass which can add flavour to boiling water. The green curry (we had king prawn and also accidentally ordered a chicken one) was far too sweet (and tasted like a chefs larder paste / sauce base)The massaman was not traditionally created (would have also liked to have the choice of a beef version on the menu) and had no depth to it.The pad Thai was over powerfully sweet, glutinous and congealed and again tastelessPlease do take this on board as cutting corners is never an option as it does more harm than good.

The most shocking experience! I’ve been to eat in a few years ago and had the best evening and great food. Tonight decided to order a takeaway online with friends and after nearly 2 hours had to call andThey decided to tell me they had not received the order which going by reviews is a lie they seem to use that excuse a lot. So nearly 10pm order arrives, jungle curry is basically water and chicken (dry)with a couple of veg? Pad Thai.. stodgy. Photos attached. Honestly tasteless and just genuinely shocking. We have paid nearly £90 for this order and I’m just disgusted by the whole service. Never ever go there. I’ve never had to complain about an order or leave a negative review until now. Ordered delivery online, called after 90mins passed as still not arrived. Was told that they had a power outage so our order was missed... however looking at previous reviews, they have used this excuse before. Food eventually arrived about 2 hours later, along with a £40 voucher. However, majority of the food we ordered and paid almost £90 for was inedible. The jungle curry was just watery with dry chicken, flavourless. Potatoes in massaman raw. Pad Thai stodgey and flavourless. Also missing one rice dish.Called the restaurant to discuss the issue to be told they would come and collect the food but would not replace it and it was 10pm so we were unable to order else where. Service is absolutely shocking, matching the food. £90 down the drain. Avoid at all costs.

I have been here before and the food was somewhat decent. Since the coronavirus lockdown I have ordered on 2 occasions and both times the quality is pathetic. The restaurant was well set out, spacious, hand sanitizers everywhere and they abdibed by the covid guidelines. The food was fantastic - we didn't have to wait long for it to come out and they had a wide range of drinks. It has to be one of the cleanist and friendlinest restaurants we have been to. We had a wonderful evening here and highly recommend anyone to go here.

We went to make the most of the Eat out to Help Out Scheme, there were far too many people in the restaurant and they were rushed off there feet. The food was good, apart from the vegetarian option which had three small bits of tofu which was not good for 9.95. The service was very slow, such a shame as it is lovely food. . One of the waiters pulled his mask down to talk to us and one of the other had the mask just over her mouth. They need to think again there COVID procedures

We had a reservation but had to wait nearly 20 minutes for a seat. Ordered Phad Thai noodles marked as a popular dish. I am sorry, it was not so great....yes the service is good. The staff is friendly and nice...I wonder what are their signature dishes ...

I would have given 4 Stars as the food was enjoyable but an hours wait for the starters was excessive. The restaurant is not cutting back on numbers so if you visit during the eat out scheme expect a very full restaurant and a long wait. Our experience was still enjoyable but some customers left before their main course arrived as they gave up. With 4 staff out serving and 2 in the kitchen the place should be able to cope but they are very disorganised. Food arrived for some tables before others had ordered and the same problem with drinks.

So impressed with the service we received today. This is by far the cleanest restaurant we have been to since COVID-19, every table was well spaced, the staff respected social distancing, hand sanitiser everywhere, everyone wore masks. And the food was excellent too, as usual!

We ordered a take away as we love Thai food and our local, The Plough is closed.The menu looked interesting and the delivery arrived on time.The prawn toast was basically some fish mush deep fried on three slices of small baguette was disgusting at £7:20My Jungle curry was boiled chicken and random veggies in a thin broth The honey chicken with three pieces of soggy batter covered in salt and MSG was disgustingNot £27 worth of food

We saw on facebook that Thai Pinto were cooking meals for Leatherhead hospital due to the Covid-19. We wanted to give something back to Thai Pinto so we ordered a delivery. That meal was superb, and we have now for the last 3 weeks on a Saturday ordered the same delivery every week as a weekend treat. The portions for delivery are big and the quality and taste of the food is amazing.

HOW do they make food that tastes this good? Seriously... how. It is so incredibly good. Heavenly. Due to COVID-19 we still want to support our local restaurants even though we can't eat there in person. I love that they have updated their website for a 'contact free' service - which we asked for as having to isolate. Food arrived hot and in good time.

phoned to make an order for a take away lunch and although the restaurant wasn't meant to open before 4pm, the owner made a special effort to do everything himself and deliver as initially planned. Hugely appreciated. Oh and the food? Absolutely delicious. Can recommend all the curries and Southern Thai chicken in particular.

Do not order online. We waited nearly 2 hours and the food didn’t order. We rang the restaurant and they told us the order was on its way an hour later still no food which I was getting annoyed at as it only takes 15 mins to drive to where my boyfriend lives. We rang again to be told that the kitchen never got our order , it would’ve been nice to have been told that when we first rang. We then asked to cancel the order it took a very long time to get a refund email . However they did give us a £40 gift voucher to say sorry which was appreciated
